31/03/2024: Came for lunch on a sunny Sunday in Wicklow. Food was great, had vegetarian options. Sat on the patio as we had a dog with us. Service was quick and very friendly

28/03/2024: The location is really nicely located on the river and offers a very nice view. Unfortunately we were not satisfied with our service today. Despite repeated eye contact with the waitresses, our drinks orders were only accepted after repeated inquiries. The food was okay, although I would have expected more given the location. When it came to the bill or payment, it was the same as at the beginning of the visit. In total we had to wait 20 minutes until we were finally allowed to pay. During this time, unoccupied tables were cleaned for the third time, even though this was not initially necessary. Unfortunately this was the case, even though it was very empty. Staff absolutely not attentive. Very unfortunate.

03/04/2024: I expected a bit more based on what I had heard directly from friends. No horseradish sauce to go with the beef was also a little disappointing.

30/03/2024: Regrettably, I must say that even one star feels overly generous for our experience at this establishment. Despite patiently waiting for over an hour for our food, our concerns were met with indifference. Only when we insisted on canceling our order did they inform us that it was finally on its way. Additionally, the manager displayed a concerning lack of professionalism, rudely walking away while we were addressing our issues. This kind of behavior is simply unacceptable, especially from someone in a managerial role. To add to our disappointment, we've resolved not to return and certainly won't be recommending this establishment to others. It's evident they're ill-prepared to handle busy days, especially when faced with a customer complaint. Leaving famished only compounded our dissatisfaction with the experience. It's disheartening to encounter such poor service, especially when it results in customers departing without having been properly fed.

02/04/2024: Unfortunately, the opening times are neither available online nor at the restaurant itself. For the second time in a row we tried our luck (Tuesday - Saturday) at regular times. The lights were on in the pub and staff were there too. Only when we asked when it would open were we put off again. Strangely enough, it is possible to reserve a table online at this time. It would be nice if the opening times were generally communicated.

23/03/2024: This was the most disappointing experience I've ever had ..never have I written a review on a food establishment before but this was the worst food I've ever had , the decor and place itself was just lovely which made what we were presented with all the more shocking .Regardless of any price it was a poor effort .

01/04/2024: Nice atmosphere, the girl working there was very nice, the sourdough bread delicious!Nice relaxing.

16/02/2024: Popped in quickly cause I needed change for a bus that was imminently arriving. Bought a raspberry muffin. Service was lightning fast, no dithering (which we loved due to the imminent bus thing). Muffin was top tier, although it did make a lot of crumbs all over the bus which was my fault. I also got a free bus ticket because I fumbled a lot with my hands full of muffin and wallet etc so the driver just waved me on. The lady selling muffins was very nice, all the sitting in customers seemed happy, and the vibes of the place were generally good. Will return for full experience.
