14/01/2025: We’ve been to this place a few times now, and honestly, it never disappoints! The food is always amazing fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. There’s something on the menu for everyone, and every dish we’ve tried has been spot on.The service is just as great. The staff are super friendly, always welcoming, and make sure we’re well taken care of. It’s clear they really care about their customers, and it shows in the little things they do. 15/01/2025: I ordered a pizza, garlic bread, and tagliatelle without chicken. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was told it would take 5 more minutes, which was perfectly fine—I understand delays happen. However, I ended up waiting over 25 minutes!
When I finally got home, I found out that the tagliatelle had chicken in it, even though we specifically ordered it without. When we called to clarify, we were told we must have added the chicken to the order when the receipt clearly shows no chicken. We were adamant that we didn’t as seen in the receipt, we were offered a refund for the chicken. At that point, the refund felt pointless.
While the pizza was good, the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. Waiting so long and receiving the wrong order, only to have the blame shifted onto us, made this an experience we wouldn’t want to repeat.

However, the service was slow due to the bustling atmosphere, which unfortunately lacked ambiance.
The decor could also use a refresh to create a more inviting environment.
That said, food good enough to compensate for the lack of ambiance and service.

07/01/2025: Found it very disappointing that this supposedly good restaurant didn't have facilities for a baby. When my family and I arrived with our one year old granddaughter we were told by the waitress that they had no high chair for her to sit in. I asked to speak to the (so called) manager who just said that they don't do them and never have. I said so you're not family friendly and he said if you don't like it leave. So we did all 10 of us and went across the road to the other restaurant Al Fresco who were only too delighted to facilitate us and our 500 euro. Obviously il sororiso is making enough money to be able to turn down 500 euro on the tues after Christmas. Very rude person who is supposedly in charge. Will make it my mission to let everyone know.

17/05/2024: I lived in Balbriggan for a few years but never been here, used to buy my fish and chips elsewhere but I was there a week ago and thought to give it a go. I must say, the best fish & chips in Balbriggan, good size meal, the fish was perfect and the chunky chips too.... The place was spottless, very clean and tidy, The prices are very very fair,. I rather visit this place any day than going to borza in the main road.... On everything, atmosphere, cleanliness, PRICES, and the food. Its way better.

The Italian Kitchen
15/01/2025: Very solid pizza baked in a wood fire oven but horrendously priced at 18 euros a piece.
Mushroom ravioli was very flavourful and creamy with plenty of filling and the portion was adequate, perhaps other reviewers don’t know how primi piatti work.
Tiramisu was also delicious, moist and not too heavy.
Service was fast and pleasant.
A glass of wine starts from 9 euro and an aperol spritz costs an astronomical 15 euro.
Would have given a higher rating if the prices were not as ridiculous for typical Italian food.
06/01/2025: The food was delicious, I had the salmon, with broccoli and new potatoes. It was piping hot , tasty and really enjoyed it.
For desert I had tiramasu. It was delicious.
I was surprised when I read the reviews, as the food was heartwarming and perfect, sfter a long days travel .
The decor wad good , with a nice airy atmosphere. The only thing I would say is that the tables are a bit too close together.
