18/04/2025: I visited kildare village a couple of weeks ago and got a coffee from the little hut/coffee van down at the end near the water feature I didn't catch the girls name but she was so incredibly nice good chat friendly and the coffee was fab. I had visited another coffee doc area the week previously (not butlers) and it's was a desperate experience. Butlers will be my go to going forward.

19/11/2025: Stopped in for breakfast on the way down country. Full Irish was ok, bit pricey at 14.95 Herself had pancakes with bananas and syrup, 11.50. She says, and she would know, they are the exact same pancakes as she buys in Tesco. Bit mad really isnt it, the stuff they get away with nowadays.

17/11/2025: Went to the Gallops last week for our daughters 18th birthday dinner. The choice was great, the food was amazing, and the staff were so nice and very good. We love going to the Gallops we think you can't pass it for price, atmosphere food and great staff.

27/11/2024: Myself & my partner decided to visit this restaurant after not being there for quite some time. We were looking forward to it as food was always amazing & staff were lovely. How disappointed could we have been!!!When we went to order we asked the waitress did they still do the "lovely coleslaw" & she told us "no, the chef thinks it's too time consuming to make it" We should have left then!!!! We decided on the wings to share, which were clearly clearly taken out of the microwave & a small bit of hot sauce put over them. The main course consisted of my partner having greasy, heavily battered cod with frozen chips & I having the the part boiled pasta, tossed with boiled chicken & what seemed like a tin of condensed mushroom soup. No taste & absolutely zero effort put into each dish. The so-called "chef" should be ashamed of himself presenting food like this to paying customers. When we complained, the waitress (who to be fair was a lovely lady) understood & didn't charge for the pasta dish. Such a disappointing experience & as locals to the area, we won't be back.

06/10/2025: Service was appalling. We were not shown to a table just told “ya” when we asked if we could have a table. We were the only customers there at the time and it still took a long time to have our order taken. My youngest only wanted chips, curry and cheese. After a long wait our food arrived and she was handed Saag Paneer and rice! Told to keep the curry and he landed back with chips. I had to wait for my rice to come and when it finally did it had a hair in it. When I asked for the bill I mentioned the hair. They attempted to charge me full price for the saag paneer and a portion of chips. When I brought it to their attention they huffed and puffed. I waited long enough for them to come back to me, but they didn’t. I went to the front desk and was met by a really lovely and pleasant young lady. The revised bill was left with her. I was charged for the rice with the hair. I certainly won’t be going back there again.

25/09/2025: The food here is fantastic! I thoroughly enjoy what the chef's produces here. You can't get anymore authentic!! Great food made and served by great people with a great atmosphere.

17/11/2025: €42.70 for what tasted like frozen Tesco burgers. Got the double bacon cheeseburger 🤮

26/10/2025: Looked like a nice place but terrible quality food. I took a chicken burger that I couldn’t eat, the chicken was like rubber and I ask for orange juice and it tasted like the very cheap one they give you in the hotel. I would not recommend this place
