The best restaurants in Kildare

17/09/2025: Went up for a meal tonight for 2 was seated down by a your guy seamed nice enought was giving 2 menus waited over 20 mins and no one came to take our order when I looked out at the staff 3 of them where just sitting down doing nothing very disappointing after driving up from dublin to have a nice meal

07/09/2025: An absolute must if your from or every passing through or by kildare town, everything on the menu can be made vegan and everything I've had so far on my 3 visits has been delicious, fast service (takeaway) prices are fair for the quality you get and the staff are always lovely! There's nowhere else like this I know of in Ireland and definitely worth going out of your way for, it's only 4 mins off the motorway too so ideal for getting when your on the road. 10/10

02/03/2025: Had a lovely meal here last night with my daughter and my sister whilst staying in kildare town for the night. The food was absolutely gorgeous i had chicken satay very generous portion and the service was brilliant! Would highly recommend ♥️

07/09/2025: Food is basic, not horrendous, and totally edible, but ambience and price try to imply quality when it’s only slightly above an M&S meal. Won’t be in a rush back. Service was friendly and competent

05/09/2025: I was really disappointed with this place. The pancakes were clearly the packaged ones you can buy in Tesco – hard, dry, and tasting like cardboard. If you can’t make pancakes from scratch, don’t put them on the menu. The cappuccino was just as bad: the coffee was burnt and extremely bitter. Honestly shocking for an Italian restaurant. Please, review your barista skills and your breakfast menu – customers deserve better.

11/08/2025: Well that's disappointing. Heard great things about this place recently. Had food there a LONG time ago and was great. Unfortunately the recent experience was nothing more than embarrassing for all involved. Food was good. Service and after service was worse. Charged me more than I ordered. Refused a refund. Waitress (lovely girl) had to step in. She sorted it. Well I thought she did. Same bill came out. Again. Same girl had to sort it but this time told to go away by management. End of story , we paid double!!!!

07/07/2025: Coffee, staff etc good; but the huge question; why you leaving one girl inside the coffeeshop while it’s a lot people around. Two person and me left because we can not wait so long :(

18/04/2025: I visited kildare village a couple of weeks ago and got a coffee from the little hut/coffee van down at the end near the water feature I didn't catch the girls name but she was so incredibly nice good chat friendly and the coffee was fab. I had visited another coffee doc area the week previously (not butlers) and it's was a desperate experience. Butlers will be my go to going forward.

19/09/2025: Had potentially the best meal I have had there last week. Pork belly, red cabbage and mustard mash. 10/10 everything. Price very good too. Unreal Guinness

16/09/2025: We were warmly welcomed! Our goal was to eat the steak on the stone, but when we arrived, it wasn't being served yet. We said we could wait, no problem! Less than 5 minutes later, the waitress came to tell us we could order, and it was ready for us ahead of schedule! The meat was of excellent quality, tender and juicy! I recommend it wholeheartedly! I'll definitely be back!

25/08/2025: Got the Paprika Chika and it was a good portion size I must say!! Fresh rocket and greens lovely chicken and added some Feta to it and it was bloody delish! I will absolutely be back for sure.. absolutely yummy food !!

16/08/2025: Tried the Chicken Cashew Crunch at Sprout & Co in Kildare Village and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender, the cashews added a perfect crunch, and the mix of fresh greens and veggies was super refreshing. The dressing tied everything together beautifully—light, zesty, and full of flavor. Great spot for a healthy, satisfying meal after shopping. Highly recommend!

15/09/2025: I am a regular customer and always enjoyed cajun pizza. However, I am very disappointed with their quality recently. For the last two orders in a row, the pizza was so bad, toppings were almost nothing as it used to be, and besides ordering regular base as usual, it ends up as a thin flat bread. This is not apache style. Waste of money.

08/12/2024: pizza was disgusting cold and chicken on pizza was not fresh it was auwfull and smelly we left bin thr pizza and drove home empty stomach

27/11/2024: Myself & my partner decided to visit this restaurant after not being there for quite some time. We were looking forward to it as food was always amazing & staff were lovely. How disappointed could we have been!!!When we went to order we asked the waitress did they still do the "lovely coleslaw" & she told us "no, the chef thinks it's too time consuming to make it" We should have left then!!!! We decided on the wings to share, which were clearly clearly taken out of the microwave & a small bit of hot sauce put over them. The main course consisted of my partner having greasy, heavily battered cod with frozen chips & I having the the part boiled pasta, tossed with boiled chicken & what seemed like a tin of condensed mushroom soup. No taste & absolutely zero effort put into each dish. The so-called "chef" should be ashamed of himself presenting food like this to paying customers. When we complained, the waitress (who to be fair was a lovely lady) understood & didn't charge for the pasta dish. Such a disappointing experience & as locals to the area, we won't be back.

24/07/2025: Prime burger meal curry sauce and a water. Burger for the price was not very good. Very dry and rubbery. A few fried onions a small but of lettuce cheap tasting cheese covered in a sauce which wasn't very nice at all. Some kind of burger sauce. Chips were not crispy at all and I agree about the oil in other reviews just not very fresh tasting. Curry was very sweet. 15.10 is very expensive for what I got. Not a lot of quality food going on here. I'd skip this one in future. In response to Macari response. Lads trip advisor is 3 out of 5 Facebook is 3.7 gastroranking is 3.1. At some point you might realise everyone is not trolling you. Im happy that you stand over your ingredients so cook and present them better. When you charge a higer price expectations go up with that price. Good luck.

19/05/2025: Seriously best pizza in town. Fresh and soft dough, fruity tomato sauce and very generous on the topics. I specifically love the vegetarian one and look forward to my next order already.

08/09/2025: The service and food is second to none. We came from Dublin and we will come back again.
