The best restaurants in Limerick

04/01/2025: Absolutely love coming back here on special occasions. Staff is always so nice and professional, food is always amazing, atmosphere is spot on. The bar has a really good selection cocktails and whiskeys (I REALLY recommend Irish Penicillin!). There's nothing not to like about Cornstore. Been coming here for years and will come back many times in the future!

01/01/2025: Average. Bit overpriced and the flavours basic in my opinion. We ended up sending back one of the cocktails as it was missing some ingredients. Waitress didn’t know much about the menu when we asked questions. The space upstairs feels crowded and not cozy. Alot of tables and chairs in a small space. Bathrooms could be cleaner

01/01/2025: Brilliant night with Hermitage green

30/12/2024: Drove up from Meath to see “these charming men”. Didn’t get that far into the night however as a man three times my age threw a pint into the back of my head for bumping into him and then I was escorted out by the bouncer for being “too drunk”. Seems like the sorta spot the regulars with an ego can have their way in and manipulate bouncers.

04/01/2025: The food never disappoints. Also the waitresses are really nice and hospitable and deserve a huge raise.

19/10/2024: A wonderful place to eat delicious Lebanese dishes. The wine, excellent, and the service, magnificent. Totally recommended.

06/01/2025: Where can I put the 6 stars. I have to say that today I had the best breakfast of my life in cafe rose...and I'm not just saying that..I did. I ordered the brown soda break toast with poached eggs tomato and avocado..with a cappuccino ...the presentation, taste and texture outstanding. Lovely staff who take pride in their work. I had to follow up with the apple crumble and cream...again absolutely outstanding... Full of flavor and texture.. there should be a cafe rose in every town. Thanks for the experience.

08/01/2025: Wasn’t having the best morning, mood wise. But that changed quickly by the time I got here. I happened to visit Limerick for a day and I’m so glad I ended it at, The Sexton. I walked in and was greeted warmly by a nice lad , Karol. who served me a great pint of Staropramen. I don’t drink often, and it was a nice choice. The pizza is the highlight here and I cannot recommend it enough! Beautifully cooked, thin, crispy. Sauce just right. Sweet but not overtly so Can get any toppings you want. I settled for a 1/2 goats cheese, Parma ham, spinach Paired w Brie, Courgette. I may be a bit tipsy, but good lord is this the best pizza I’ve had in a decade. And this is coming from home cook/ chef back in Boston. The place overall has a fabulous cozy vibe that pulls you right in. I can tell lotta love been put into this place and it’s well deserved of its high ratings. I’m not in Ireland often, but when that changes, I’ll certainly return here. Cheers Lads

05/01/2025: My partner and I love Sextons for a pizza & wine night or even just for a nice drink in a cosy restaurant. The staff are excellent and very efficient. The pizzas & garlic bread are delicious. Thin pizzas that melt in your mouth. I’d definitely recommend coming here.

10/01/2025: If you’re looking for a traditional old Irish pub this is probably the best place to be and go to :) We ordered a burger, seafood chowder and the Korean bbq wings and I loved the food so much! 5/5 and def coming back next time when here in limerick :) For my boyfriend the burger could have been a bit more spicier and the chips were a bit dry but it think they were very nice.

17/12/2024: This place was excellent! We have a wheat allergy in the family and the gluten free menu was fantastic - a great selection of tasty meals that people are actually excited about. The service was brilliant, too - knowledgeable staff who were chatty and friendly yet extremely professional. And so conscientious of the allergy mentioned. We will make this our Limerick spot from now on.

09/12/2024: I wish I lived in Limerick, this would be our regular spot! First of all it is HARD finding food places in Ireland that allow dogs, least of all indoors! The amount of times we've had to freeze outdoors in other spots just to have a bite when we're with our dogs out and about, and most times we don't even enjoy the food. This place really has it all--delicious food, great location, outstanding service, lovely ambience and pet friendly👏 really crying internally and considering moving from Cork to Limerick. Recommended in all ways 10/10. All future times I'm passing through Limerick I will make a pitstop here guaranteed. Thank you from our furry family for the great work you do taking in pets and on top of that with perfect service. If I could give you more than five stars I would!

05/12/2024: Horrible experience. We booked our Christmas girls night out several months ago only to get a call today to say they have a private function and have to cancel - 1 WEEK BEFORE the date. Now everywhere is booked out and we simply won't have a Christmas get together - very poor customer service!!!!!!!! I visited the restaurant before - enjoyed food and ambience but service again was poor. Was waiting for food for over am hour - not to even get apology.... Aces you really need to learn how to treat customers
