02/04/2026: Cozy, friendly. Sat next to the fireplace. Plenty of vegan options. The soup of the day was delicious. Interior is classy yet laid back. Lots of music ephemera on the walls. Had an early weeknight dinner, so it was quiet and not busy.

18/04/2026: We stayed at this hotel for the first time for a week. The rooms are spacious, and while some don't have power outlets above the bedside table, they do have one underneath. Everything is clean and spacious, and the staff is very attentive. The breakfast is generous, and the restaurant offers delicious local dishes. We had a very pleasant stay.

08/04/2026: Had a lovely stay at the Absolute Hotel food was lovely staff very helpful and rooms were lovely and warm.

02/01/2026: A good 👍 pub. The management and staff are down to earth friendly people. A good selection of craft 🍻 beers. The last time I was in there they had a count down digital ⏰ clock to the ⛳ Golf Ryder Cup in limerick Adare.

06/04/2026: Heating in smoking area is on a timer. It's necessary to get up , open a door and find the switch which resets every few minutes resulting in an uncomfortable experience. Ambience is good and the staff are friendly. Beer price is at a slightly higher level.

29/03/2026: Excellent food and service (especially from Shane, who made us welcome). He was great with my disabled elderly mother. The staff led the singing of happy birthday for my niece. I highly recommend the Tiramisu desert !

08/02/2026: Absolute disgrace of a venue. Myself and two friends were there a week ago to catch up over a drink. When ordering our second pint we were told we were no longer being served as we had made a “bet” on who could pull a female member of staff. Bare in mind one of my friends is engaged, and the other is emigrating to Australia with his partner. Our conversation had consisted of slagging eachother for losing pool earlier in the day. The staff member would not even hear us out as we tried to explain that perhaps they had the wrong group of men and was rude and dismissive. I have never been so insulted in a premises or utterly embarrassed. I will never be back.

16/11/2025: Went for brunch on sunday, got the simple avo toast. Bread was so old i could not cut with knife, chef decided to add almost 20 tomatoes thinking its a good idea, but it wasnt. Food was dry and not tasty. cutleries smelled like egg.

13/04/2026: Wish I could give this place a 6. From last reviews I cannot understand comments re portion size etc. the food is rich, well balanced, beautiful and delicious. We arrived with our 7 month old and we were made feel very comfortable by Lorcan who was just an amazing host and cocktail maker. Best espresso martini I've had outside my own home! We are already looking forward to going back

13/03/2026: Been to The French Table many times over the years. The welcome has always been warm and the staff friendly. The food has always been excellent. It is my favourite restaurant in LimerIck. This time I had the crevettes in the most delicous seafood sauce, followed by the rabbit blanquette. Not only is The French Table rare in serving rabbit - but whatever iteration of rabbit cookery, it is always succulent & delicious. The chocolate mousse for dessert was lovely too. Relaxed vibes & you always feel taken good care of. Standards have never dropped..

19/04/2026: On Sunday, 19th April 2026, my partner and I purchased two roast stuffed ports, a glass of Coca Cola and a pint of 7-Up. The food was nice and the portions were generous BUT our Sunday lunch cost us €51.30! We spent €42 for a similar lunch at an hotel in the eastern suburbs a week earlier. I think that Souths need to look at their pricing.

09/04/2026: Absolute gem in the city. Food is superb and it's a lovely place for a few pints. Worth a visit.
