The best restaurants in Limerick

06/01/2026: Easily the best run bar and venue in Limerick City. A haven for mature punters who appreciate alternative sounds and laid back atmosphere. I've not tried the food but the menu looks enticing.

06/01/2026: We attended a Hermitage Green concert. The members of staff were fantastic.

11/01/2026: Enjoyed a few nice pints of Heino.

31/12/2025: Stopped here for a break on our way to Kerry. Had a seafood chowder, it was so good that we stopped again on our way back as well.

01/02/2026: Linda went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was excellent and all the staff were top class. A very nice experience.

30/01/2026: Such a fab meal - food and service was 10/10. Anna was our waitress and was lovely, other staff were very nice and brought out candles for my brothers birthday - would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back.

17/12/2025: Such a good idea porridge with foamy milk and the strawberries. Waiter was lovely, short and white hair. Good value.

12/01/2026: Menu is fairly limited in variety, but the quality is good. The decor is nice, lighting is bright, fireplace is very cozy.

02/01/2026: Great place. Friendly service. Very good pizza, although a bit too burnt on the bottom for my liking.

02/01/2026: A good 👍 pub. The management and staff are down to earth friendly people. A good selection of craft 🍻 beers. The last time I was in there they had a count down digital ⏰ clock to the ⛳ Golf Ryder Cup in limerick Adare.

28/12/2025: Great bar, fabulous staff, brilliant selection of craft beers and whiskeys. Lovely atmosphere and vibe. Will be back!

20/11/2025: I was there in a really busy day, but the food arrive on time! Staffs very friendly too !! Matcha is great quality as the food

16/11/2025: Went for brunch on sunday, got the simple avo toast. Bread was so old i could not cut with knife, chef decided to add almost 20 tomatoes thinking its a good idea, but it wasnt. Food was dry and not tasty. cutleries smelled like egg.

15/01/2026: A good bar in a great location. Wide selection of drinks and a decent food selection. There were outdoor seats with a nice view of the river. They're currently undergoing renovations. We're sure they'll reopen by summer. In the evenings, there's live music and even dancing. In four years, it's never let me down. Sometimes the smell is a bit heavy. Suitable for large groups.

18/01/2026: Very overpriced. Spent 279 for room only. Then had to pay 14e extra to park across the road. Had hassle getting out of carpark next morning. Ticket machine wouldn't work to lift the barrier up. Contacted the hotel they said its nothing to do with them. Unfortunately because of the parking situation I won't be back again. Very poor customer service.

05/01/2026: Perfect location in the city centre. Very quite and comfortable rooms. Staff were lovely.

04/01/2026: Great place to have some pints and see games on screen. It has beautiful decoration and it's a very comfortable place. The bathrooms are very clean and the atmosphere it's great also.

19/12/2025: Top class pub, great food, pints are among some of the very best you will get in Limerick. Place is finished so well, bright and spacious while still being relaxed and comfortable. Great place to watch rugby as well. Would highly recommend.

27/01/2026: Cannot fault our experience. We had the 3 course option. The staff were fantastic considering how busy it was. Food was amazing and extremely coeliac friendly. We will absolutely return.

06/01/2026: Had the cauliflower steak and some sides at a birthday party staff were great especially the man who took the orders and the other fella who brought out the cake food was top class

04/01/2026: We went here for dinner and the food itself was fine. The restaurant was very busy, which can often be a good sign, but unfortunately the staff seemed too rushed to really pay attention to the guests. My main issue came when we paid. We paid by card, but the waitress did not give us a receipt. I immediately felt something was off, as it seemed like the amount charged was higher than what was on the bill. When I asked to see the receipt, she only handed me the bill again and somewhat cheekily asked if there was a problem. When I later checked my bank account at home, I discovered that a 10% tip had been added without my consent. I was very surprised that this could happen. It’s not about whether I can afford to tip or not, but adding a tip without asking the customer feels dishonest and unacceptable. Because of this experience, I can only give the restaurant a low rating. I hope management will address this internally and reflect on how their customers are treated

05/01/2026: Discovered 18 months ago, what a treat!! An incredibly well-kept, authentic pub with exquisite Guinness and Beamish! I'm returning to Ireland in two months, I'll definitely stop there, especially since Luc is still a waiter here – he's fantastic!

19/01/2026: Fantastic. Food is brilliant, staff were great and a lovely restaurant. I made a mess of the booking but they quickly accommodated us and we were well looked after. Will definitely be back.

10/01/2026: Gave 5 star review last year. Returned very recently and overall it was good but not great. Fish either slightly overdone or not as fresh as it should be, portions small, steak was fine apparently but not great. Crepe dessert while tasty was cold. Staff we interacted with were very professional and charming.

10/01/2026: Sharon provided excellent service. We're from Mexico on a road trip, stayed one night, and were delighted. The breakfast in the morning was phenomenal, and Chavo's service was top-notch.
