The best restaurants in Louth

17/08/2024: Food was delicious and service excellent. Decor was especially beautiful. Both my friend and I had a lovely experience. We will be back. Well done to all the staff.

30/06/2024: Rude staff. I went to pay for my order with my card, a female staff member took card device out of sight and then told me the payment had failed, I asked for a ‘failed receipt’ and was told ‘no’ we don’t issue those, I explained my reasons for asking for one and was told by staff to ‘check my phone’. A second male member of staff then got involved and I once again explained the situation only to be told ‘this is a new device that doesn’t issue failed receipts and was shown a screen showing all the recent transactions, I questioned this information and insisted that all devices must issue ‘failed receipts’, the staff member then threw his eyes to the ceiling and started raising his voice shouting ‘so sorry, so sorry’ over me as I tried to speak, I asked to speak to a manager and was told ‘no, not working today’, was staff I’ve ever dealt with.

28/10/2024: Cute store with lots variety in sweets and ice creams. We opted for the pic ‘n mix. Lots sweets sold from large jars by weight. Was busy always a good sign.

07/07/2024: Nice, local ice cream shop. They have vegan options as well.

09/08/2024: This place has gone down dramatically Chips were dire. Hard and tasteless cheap potatoes I am guessing If seems that the staff are precooking the food including the chips As I asked for no salt and vinegar and I could definitely taste salt and vinegar Fresh cod rubbery and batter burned uneditable This takeaway is not cheap and slop is unacceptable for prices charged I Binned the food and I won't be returning This used to be a great place but unfortunately using cheap potatoes and untrained staff will result in less customers Incidentally a few yards up the road the traditional takeaway cooks from scratch

25/07/2024: Yesterday my husband bought chicken kebab tray. 2 hours later I started vomiting. thanks for the "delicious" food! Never back..
