04/01/2026: Love this place, we always stay here , tea to the room freshly brewed, and good tea too, was in the minus ➖ degrees last night and the room was still so warm I had to open the window, we even got a tea and coffee to go , 5 star ⭐ all the way

01/01/2026: Had a lovely overnight stay with dinner bed and breakfast. Food was excellent. Service was fantastic and staff were warm and friendly. Would highly recommend this place. We will be back

31/12/2025: Dropped in on New Year’s Eve early in the evening with my young son they were fully booked but a gorgeous looking lady at the door accommodated us anyway , fully recommend the inn and will gladly return again

19/01/2026: The restaurant is very nice with a great atmosphere. The pizza is extremely delicious, and honestly all the food is amazing. This is not my first time dining here, and the quality has always been excellent. The staff and service are wonderful. Today, I tried a pizza made by the chef, and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

18/01/2026: You are not just getting yourself a proper meal , budget friendly , in a cool place with the nicest staff ever , you are getting a feeling. And to give you a better idea ; I never had a meal there without listening to the laughters and joy of other customers.

06/11/2025: The Mariner is a nice pub, I dropped in during the late afternoon after being out and about and caught a local football game on one TV and a rugby union game on the other. The staff were good craic, very polite and helpful, the service was excellent and the Guinness was delicious. Well worth the visit.

01/01/2026: Disappoint in the bar staff last night. I’ve been going for years and last night they were clearly over worked and uninterested to be there.

31/12/2025: Was once a great bar but the staff need to get a grip on themselves. Specifically the Barman Gohran / Goran. Made a problem out of literally nothing last night. Mentioned we wouldn’t be served because he didn’t like a comment one of the group made and disagreed with his “political views” whatever that has to do with anything. I asked what political views? The other bar man mentioned something about him working 7 days straight and that was some of the reason, which has absolutely nothing to do with our group. We were quiet, we were paying there was no issue until an hour after the supposed comment was made. In the midst of arguing our case they told us to get out and that we were barred and started filming us. Have literally being going to this pub for 20 years. If you’re overworked that has nothing to do with customers and should be mentioned to your manager not taking it out on paying customers.
