12/11/2025: Was very surprised by portion size (very big ones). The chef is really very generous 😅 but even after such a portion we left without "heavy" feeling in the gut. If you are near this restaurant, definetelly worth to visit!

05/11/2025: I was very impressed with their foods. They are authentic Italian dishes with the fresh and good ingredients. The staffs in there are lovely and friendly. Nice and cozy restaurant. Their pasta dishes are highly recommended.

Freshly baked bread, scallops, crab starter, lamb cutlets, fish dishes, chocolate brownie and so much more. Great service also. ❤️

09/10/2025: Love coming here, especially with the family. Shirley and the gang provide top-notch hospitality with a warm and welcoming touch. This restaurant caters excellently for kids, with the choice and quality of the kids menu as good as the main one! Great restaurant to visit also with colleagues and friends - all guests and occasions are catered for with equal dedication and excellence.

13/10/2025: Very disappointing. The meat was dry and, for an oriental-style restaurant, the food was extremely bland. Sauces had almost no flavour. And it’s very, very expensive for what you get - definitely not worth the price. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for something rich and aromatic.
11/10/2025: The samosas and Palestinian kebab were amazing, there vegetables must be locally sourced too because I normally hate peas but the ones in the samosas were so firm and lovely. Will definitely be coming back. Ps sorry for the bad photo, you'll just have to take my word that the plating was excellent I couldn't wait to dig in

08/11/2025: I was visiting Castlebar from the US and Mick could not have been more welcoming. I also ended up stopping in during the day to ask for directions and a different barman was also extremely hospitable. It's a very positive feel here, not to mention a top notch pint of Guinness. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

11/10/2025: Was really disappointed with the service in danollas, as a returning customer and not having any problems before this
3 of us went in and ordered food, 2 of us were served, 1 meal correct and 1 meal missing chips, third meal did not arrive to table at all, we had to go to counter and ask where it was a half an hour after ordering, the staff were quite rude and eventually got the 3rd meal when everyone was finished.
Disappointed is an under statement as this is the first review I have ever left 😣

03/10/2025: We stopped here on our last night in Ireland after a week of exploring the country. I’d honestly say, this is the best service we have received out of any restaurant we visited and the food was top notch. Great vibe inside and plenty of drinks and beers to choose from. Highly recommend!

09/09/2025: Quiet afternoon popped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch. Bar lady was so nice and welcoming. We will defo be back. 100% home cooked food. Simple menu but just what we wanted.
Homemade veg soup and brown bread… so fresh
Chicken goujons wrap with sweet chilli.
Amazing value and literally 10 mins waiting.

10/08/2025: Perfect location to castlebar with lots to do around. Staff couldn’t be nicer. Room was great, just found it a bit hot as the duvets were thicker than I expected. Room service was great!
