27/10/2024: Beautiful food, expertly prepared, hospitable service, and a beautiful room. If it wouldn’t require a transatlantic flight I would gladly dine here weekly. We came with a group of 8 rather last minute and they took excellent care of us. We’re already preparing for our next meal in a few months.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The Stirzarker family and their staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, creating an atmosphere that’s as friendly as it is comfortable. It’s clear that the team at the Dining Room truly cares about their guests, while the food itself is simply outstanding. Every dish was bursting with flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chef here is passionate about his craft, as the food felt creative and thoughtfully prepared. The combination of excellent food, fine wine and such friendly service makes dining at the Dining Room a truly special experience. If you’re looking for a place where you can not only enjoy an incredible meal but also feel truly cared for by a welcoming team, this is the restaurant for you. 25/10/2024: Class meal, from the prompt email reply in booking to the end of the meal this was class! You get a choice of menus, picked a starter of mushrooms and mussels strange combo but really tasty thanks to the waitress for the recommendations , prawn curry with basmati and an extra of alloli fries (not required) the portions are huge…..then the best for last baked Alaska omg delicious 😋 so worth a visit sorry it’s taken so long to venture back here, won’t be as long this time!

25/10/2024: Definitely the best fish in town! My family and I each ordered the fish and chips meal and to say we were amazed would be an understatement! The fish was so fresh it literally melted in your mouth, the batter was perfect too , not too thin , not too thick just right and not oily at all! Even the size of the fish was fantastic! I’d definitely recommend Danolla’s to anyone looking for the best fish in town! (We actually came all the way from Foxford to get their fish!) Staff were an absolute pleasure too! We will definitely be coming back !

03/11/2024: Went on a busy Saturday night. Bar was lively and Mick greeted us with such warmth that I felt the need to leave a 5 star review. Pure gent and very welcoming. Even went out of his way to find my partner a high stool despite how busy it was. Couldn't ask for more. Great pub that deserves all its success. (Maybe bring cash)

10/09/2024: My wife and I had a great meal last year when visiting the area. We decidied we must eat at Blue Serenade again. We booked in advance to avoid disappointment. Peter is wonderful as a host and a character. We shared a bowel of mussells as a starter, followed by mains of Lamb Shank, and Chicken Duxelle. We both had Chocolate Orange Cheesecake as a dessert. For drinks we shared a bottle of Merlot. it was a very relaxed meal, - be prepared to have a wait between each course. The food is obviously freshly cooked to ordered. High quality standard of food, and wine. The total bill came to €94.50 which we thought was fanstastic value for the evening. The restuarant is small and intimate, with plenty of character. The choice of music is 1970', 80's eske which is line with the whole experience. A bit quirky but brilliant all round.

18/09/2024: There's a saying that dynamite comes in small packages. This is very true for this charming restaurant. I was treated in a very welcoming manner. I watched as each customer was immediately made welcome, even addressed by their name if known. The service was fast and the meal delicious. Usually a Caesar chicken and bacon salad is served too dry for my liking, but this salad had the perfect ratio of salad and dressing. The garlic bread was crispy but not hard. I totally enjoyed every aspect of my visit. Definitely on my 'do again ' list. Thank you Caroline and staff.

07/11/2024: We go everyone morning and there is always this one woman who is working so hard every single day but also not forgetting to be so friendly and have a conversation with us. We found out her name today which is Christina, and Christina deserves a pay rise 😂 this woman is running that whole coffee shack and is one of the loveliest women I’ve ever meet. She will never fail to ask us how are day is, crack jokes with us even though she is so busy, and I do believe when someone is busy and In a rush but is still able to have a conversation with us that shows a lot about the person. So THANK YOU CHRISTINA !!!

30/10/2024: Drive Through is awesome!!! Fast service and if the line is moving slow they come get your order to speed it up!!

04/10/2024: For has been lukewarm the few times I've had takeaway or delivery. Dining in is fine.
