09/06/2025: Stopped to get a small bite on our journey home. Very pleasantly surprised. The food was so incredibly delicious. We had a BLT and a Club sandwiches. The service was friendly and excellent. Highly recommend.

30/06/2025: Stayed in the Creighton Hotel while attending a wedding in Monaghan, and it was genuinely excellent. The rooms were immaculate, and the decor was beautiful. The staff were also all just brilliant, very patient, amd couldn't have done enough for us. I'd highly recommend it.

30/05/2025: We had my Moms 80th birthday Easter Saturday for 200 guests…the ballroom looked fabulous, the food was delicious and plentiful and a fantastic night was had by all especially the birthday girl! And the service was excellent. The next day clones had 22,000+ people in town for the Monaghan v donegal game and we had Easter Sunday dinner booked for 70 people. I can’t express how fantastic the day was….we had the dining room to ourselves, again the food and service was excellent and we were well taken care of. Thank you Patrick, Edel and staff for a fantastic weekend. Ann, Jason, Samantha & Allison x Your never alone when your a clone!!

16/05/2025: Although the food is good, I would not go back to this restaurant because of the attitude of the owner. An elderly lady I know ordered a salad there that came with a piece of steel that looked liked a drill bit. When shown to the owner, she said it couldn’t possibly have come from there - suggesting that this person had planted it. She said there was no salad dressing on it despite there being no dressing on the particular dish. Mishaps can happen in restaurants but who treats their customers like that?

17/04/2025: Lovely food. A Very nice and friendly server. However, as I was queuing to pay, the lady in charge accused our table of not paying for our food. I could hear her talking about us, asking the other servers where we were and saying we'd left without paying. My friend was at the bathroom and I was literally in the queue ready to pay and listening as she spoke about us. . When I paid, I thought maybe she might have apologised, but was disappointed she didn't.

15/06/2025: What can I say except... Perfect! The meal was outstanding. Genuinely, embellished, no holds barred, honest and truthfully amazing food. The taste, the spice, the quality of ingredients... basically everything was incredible. The staff are the best. There when you need them, out of sight when you want to enjoy the meal without them. Knowledgeable, polite, and very helpful. I could not rate their entire team any higher. Finally, the setting is just beautiful. A tasteful, non-intrusive decor that welcomes and relaxes. Individual booths through smart glass dividers. Plenty of space. Airy and cool. This is a really great spot to relax and enjoy your meal. All in all, it's a ten out of ten. I recommend Eastern Balti House with gusto and enthusiasm. If you are in Monaghan you cannot go wrong and would be missing out not to stop in for the best Indian Meal you've had in Ireland. Incredible.

09/06/2025: My mother and I had gone 6 days prior traveling in Northern Ireland with not a single good meal. We stumbled upon Eastern Balti while staying in Monaghan and couldn’t have been happier. The food was delicious, restaurant was extremely clean and the service was flawless. Thank you for the great meal and service!

26/06/2025: This is the cutest, most perfect cafe! The service is lovely, the food was delicious, and there’s a bunch of amazing stuff to go as well. They even have ice cream. We sat outside and the view was beautiful. Would come here all the time if I was a local!

13/06/2025: We have been travelling around Ireland for two weeks and had three great ice creams from this cafe. Rich, creamy and full of flavour. We enjoyed the pizzas and convenience store items. Well done from a group of appreciative Australians.

25/05/2025: We had such a lovely experience at The Old Coach Inn in Castleblayney. Irish hospitality is renowned, but Raymond and his team really take it to the next level. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome. We got into town a bit earlier than expected and had some time to fill before checking into our accommodation. No problem at all—Raymond invited us to relax and enjoy a leisurely Sunday lunch, and what a lunch it was! Delicious food, a warm and lively atmosphere, and a real sense of community. Families were celebrating their children’s First Communion and it was just lovely to witness—The Old Coach Inn clearly plays a big part in local life. Raymond even went out of his way to help us get to our accommodation, which was such a kind and unexpected gesture. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day for an evening meal, which was just as impressive. The menu had something for everyone, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Our only regret? Not having time to return for breakfast and complete the trio! If you're in or near Castleblayney, don’t miss this place. A warm welcome, great food, and a real local gem.

24/05/2025: I have eaten in this restaurant several times when I visit from London. Sadly the quality of the food is very poor.? Has the chef changed? I had chicken fillet burger. The batter was dark brown and rock hard. The chips are frozen and there was a tasteless limp salad on the side. Very disappointing.

17/07/2025: First time here and will definitely be back. We are on a family road trip with 4 kids and a dog and everyone was in agreement that it’s a fantastic place. Cozy Cafe was so welcoming, food was delicious, very reasonably priced and great portion sizes. There was even a doggie menu! We felt very lucky to have come across it on our travels.

15/07/2025: Myself and my partner stopped in at the Cosy Cafe a few days ago with our dog and sat outside in the 'Cosy Alley'. Staff are very friendly and someone came out straight away with a bowl of water for our dog. Food was lovely, they even have a special doggy menu with great options! Lovely spot, can't fault it in anyway!
