02/02/2025: Having seen The squeeling Pig many the rally car over the years, got the opportunity to visit this eve. The menu had caught my eye earlier on line and it lived up to my expectations, the chicken with chirico sauce was delicious, really enjoyed. And the hake dish was thoroughly enjoyed by my better half. The staff were ever so pleasant, not surprising this venue has been on the radar for as long as I remember. Also I noted the list of awards adorning the wall of the town centre venue.

The Batch Loaf

15/03/2025: Very enjoyable visit. 5 in our party and everyone enjoyed their choices. Generous portions and every main course includes a choice of any side dish. Try the batch loaf (or half batch!) to start! Yum!

27/01/2025: It's a shame to see such a grand restaurant so empty, because the food is top draw. The only thing I didn't like about the place was the music loop! Every time I've been in they've played the same song over and over again! It's ridiculous, and the guy just thinks it's hilarious when you point it out.

delicious real ham turkey stuffing with cranberry sauce, and so reasonably priced. Friendly and efficient staff and loads of parking in this beautifully restored Church. Would very highly recommend stopping here.

06/03/2025: Delightful, cute little cafe filled with curios and art to keep you looking and searching the entire room until your food arrives. When that happens there will be no conversation and you'll be fully focused on your meal. The staff are wonderful, the food is great and the atmosphere fantastic. I really recommend a visit as soon as you can!!

15/08/2024: Great spot for a quick coffee. The coffee is rich and smooth with the usual brews available. It is takeaway only and uses compostable coffee cups. There are some snacks available and artisan bread is delivered on Fridays. Service is quick so you can grab your coffee and go. Plenty of street parking available.
