24/09/2025: Perfect! We ate delicious food!!! The service was impeccable and warm. Even the restaurant staff, who were locals, were so kind to us tourists! A truly wonderful experience!

04/09/2025: Really enjoyed this restaurant with my husband. I had the duck , which was sooooo yummy and my husband had the steak and we both devoured our food. The staff were absolutely brilliant and soo friendly. We really felt very comfortable here

18/08/2025: I ate ribs with fries: it was super filling, one whole rib is huge. The way the ribs were cooked with the sauce 😋 was delicious. The fries were good, as were the accompanying vegetables. For dessert: lemon meringue pie, not very lemony, definitely frozen. The place is magnificent, beautifully decorated.

14/09/2025: We hired Seany to do the catering for our wedding, after a previous caterer had let us down. On short notice, he agreed to cater for us, and had absolutely no issues with our different dietary requirements. He did us a full vegetarian menu, and managed to find a fantastic organic mince substitute that was divine. We also had two coeliacs, and a few picky eaters, but everyone was catered for incredibly. My father is not a fan of halloumi, but I can confirm Seany's food is so good, he actually asked for three portions of the halloumi tacos! All guests said the food was some of the best wedding food they'd had. We would highly recommend Blasta Street Kitchen.

14/09/2025: I attended a wedding where blasta street kitchen catered, wow the food was amazing, staff were so friendly, the owner Seány was so friendly and it was so nice to hear there story and there passion for there business. It was a fully vegetarian menu and as a non veggie I couldn’t get over how amazing the food was, so tasty and full of flavour, I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough 10 out of 10

24/08/2025: It is a beautiful building, symbolic, that might be considered the heart of Clones. The room I was given (central, top flor, old part of the building) is very large and luminous, sporting five huge windows, an extremely comfortable bed, a big desktop, a large bathroom too with a good and wide shower unit. Good view over the main street, no obstacles in front. Lots of outlets for plugging in all your stuff, including USB charge. All designed with a great taste by a good professional. A dream of a room if it weren't for what I'll write below. There are quite a few breakfast options, all of them delicious and more than enough for the hungriest guest. Breakfast times very friendly, almost until noon. I dined in the restaurant a couple of times and I liked the food too, good and large portions. Prices are quite reasonable. The staff is correct, but nothing to call home about. Some are more obliging, some are a bit dry. The only one -but very important- thing I didn't like (which prevents me from ticking 5* in all the ratings) was the fact that, despite having requested a quiet room when I did my booking, my request was totally ignored. Not only I wasn't given a quiet room, but actually one of the two NOISIEST rooms they have. This hotel is composed of two adjacent buildings: the old one is much nicer, but the windows are not double-glazed and, since they overlook a busy crossing, the traffic noise is very disturbing all they round, except thanks God by night; but then early in the morning it starts again. So, I had to sleep with earplugs the whole of my stay. And by daytime I couldn't peacefully read or work. At the very least the management should have explained to me why I was given such a noisy room despite my request. So, a bad note for customer service.

30/06/2025: Stayed in the Creighton Hotel while attending a wedding in Monaghan, and it was genuinely excellent. The rooms were immaculate, and the decor was beautiful. The staff were also all just brilliant, very patient, amd couldn't have done enough for us. I'd highly recommend it.

27/08/2025: Wonderful place, always feels bit nostalgic there. Always great food, breakfast, lunch or pizza for children. Mine love waffles for breakfast. Beside is wonderful laces art gallery amd a wee shop. Toilets too. There is playground just beside it and outdoor toilets and showers.

28/08/2025: Came in to Adamsons the day after our wedding with a large group. Fantastic service all day, we were able to order pizzas, wings and chips whenever we needed throughout the day and settle all at the end. Everything was so delicious and speedy out of the kitchen. We had a some vegans in our party who had good options too. Great atmosphere in the bar by the end of the Sunday night too. Ross and all the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout

13/07/2025: We parked in the shopping car park and as soon as we walked out we spotted this coffee shop . We had the most delicious BLTs and iced coffees, the food and service was wonderful , thank you Barbara !

10/06/2025: My new fave coffee shop 🥰 The coffee is the best in town! Ready to drink temp so if you like an extra hot coffee ask for it to be extra hot! I got a toasty & it was the best toasty I’ve ever had! Delicious! Lovely cosy little spot, we sat outside in one their pods and was lovely! The staff are lovely, especially the young lad!!!

30/09/2025: Very nice restaurant, a gem in Monaghan. I wish we had discovered this place earlier. We had just a dessert, which was absolutely amazing. The service was so nice and friendly. We proceeded to payment at the bar and noticed the liquor bottles with different flavours. We became curious and got free samples from multiple drinks. Being nice and friendly doesn’t cost much. We ended up buying two bottles and will definitely be back. It will be our place to go to. Please keep the service like this.

17/08/2025: Good atmosphere, very spacious, lots of tables, all kinds of people come here, varied menu. Service, however, leaves much to be desired: I was sitting at the bar for almost 10 minutes and none of the bartenders cared to ask me what I wanted, serving instead other customers who arrived after me. I left unattended.

14/06/2025: Wishing David all the best, was passing through Monaghan twice a week in the 90’s heading to Cavan to see a young lady, was always told to get a supreme + a spicy tomato on the way through .Courting for 10 years…. cost me a fortune ! We’re married 26 years now, but anytime we’re heading up to Cavan, the wee treat was Pizza D’or GUTTED !!!!!!!!
