04/09/2025: Really enjoyed this restaurant with my husband. I had the duck , which was sooooo yummy and my husband had the steak and we both devoured our food. The staff were absolutely brilliant and soo friendly. We really felt very comfortable here

16/02/2026: I visited on the 16.02.2026 I was not happy with the service waited 15/20 minutes for an order to be taken would not have minded if they were busy food was average I will not rush back . And the seating was very uncomfortable

13/07/2025: We parked in the shopping car park and as soon as we walked out we spotted this coffee shop . We had the most delicious BLTs and iced coffees, the food and service was wonderful , thank you Barbara !

10/06/2025: My new fave coffee shop 🥰 The coffee is the best in town! Ready to drink temp so if you like an extra hot coffee ask for it to be extra hot! I got a toasty & it was the best toasty I’ve ever had! Delicious! Lovely cosy little spot, we sat outside in one their pods and was lovely! The staff are lovely, especially the young lad!!!

08/03/2026: Very tasty food. We were here 13 years ago and decided to come back after long time. And they didn't dissapoint. Food amazing, service perfect. Definetely worth coming back. Recommend for everyone who is even passing through Monaghan to stop there and enjoy tasty meal and lovely atmosphere.

09/02/2026: We had family celebration lunch for my son's 60th Birthday on Sunday February 8th, the food was excellent, tasty and piping hot.The girls serving table were helpful and pleasant . They provided candles for cake and cut it up to serve with tea. A lovely celebration with happy memories. Thank you to Creighton Hotel and staff. Gertie Fee

01/03/2026: Arrived at 6pm, took staff 10mins to show us our booked table. More delays with taking order, with food eventually coming at 7:20, leaving us in a rush to eat food (one course only) and pay before local engagement at 8pm. Waiter didn't seem to want to be there, very poor.

25/02/2026: I had Lunch twice here. Fantastic food at a very reasonable price. The waiters were very polite, smiling and professional. Highly recommended.

09/09/2025: Awesome is a gem in the heart of Carrickmacross, serving coffee from expert roaster (roasts coffee in house), delicious bakes and always a kids hot chocolate for the little ones. Staff are top class, in a town where there is no shortage of coffee shops, this one stands out.

14/06/2025: Wishing David all the best, was passing through Monaghan twice a week in the 90’s heading to Cavan to see a young lady, was always told to get a supreme + a spicy tomato on the way through .Courting for 10 years…. cost me a fortune ! We’re married 26 years now, but anytime we’re heading up to Cavan, the wee treat was Pizza D’or GUTTED !!!!!!!!

14/09/2025: We hired Seany to do the catering for our wedding, after a previous caterer had let us down. On short notice, he agreed to cater for us, and had absolutely no issues with our different dietary requirements. He did us a full vegetarian menu, and managed to find a fantastic organic mince substitute that was divine. We also had two coeliacs, and a few picky eaters, but everyone was catered for incredibly. My father is not a fan of halloumi, but I can confirm Seany's food is so good, he actually asked for three portions of the halloumi tacos! All guests said the food was some of the best wedding food they'd had. We would highly recommend Blasta Street Kitchen.

14/09/2025: I attended a wedding where blasta street kitchen catered, wow the food was amazing, staff were so friendly, the owner Seány was so friendly and it was so nice to hear there story and there passion for there business. It was a fully vegetarian menu and as a non veggie I couldn’t get over how amazing the food was, so tasty and full of flavour, I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough 10 out of 10

31/08/2025: Love this coffee shop the staff are so lovely I took my wee girl in after school the other day she even bought a few toys for herself. Hot chocolate latte and buns all gorgeous at a reasonable price. Girls couldn’t have done enough for us 😀 You can also pick up lovely cards and gifts in store they have gorgeous candles & creams. They stock a lovely face cream from Dublin herbalists which I bought and it’s really lovely 🥰 Beautiful place our new favorite ❤️ Thanks again girls I don’t review very often but We left so happy Friday it’s a credit to your team

27/02/2026: Very good. Staff exceedingly nice. Beautiful room. Water in the shower though is really feeble, and there's a suffused noise that I can't say it's really disturbing, still a bit annoying
