22/04/2025: Ashling Hotel was a very reliable place for good traditional food. Not anymore. Had a meal there on Easter Saturday. The food was pretty mediocre. A pretty poor attempt at nouvelle cuisine. It would be better if the chef stuck with traditional menus.

The service and the staff are very good as well as the food.
Th Port House Cava became one of our best spots to dine in and have some drinks.

14/07/2025: Food was delicious but €17 for a full breakfast and then coffee as extra. It's 2 sausages 2 rashers pudding and an egg. C'mon.
05/07/2025: I WISH I could give Cinnamon 5 stars as their food was incredible and very well priced.
Unfortunately, as I was leaving, I discovered that a large wad of gum had been left on my seat, and my pants were completely stained because of it. If something that big is missed where customers can see, I shudder to think what cleanliness is being missed behind the closed doors of the kitchen.

09/07/2025: Went there with party of six for birthday celebration on Sunday. The food was excelent, we all had different dishes & all agreed their dishes were excellent too, our plates were wiped clean by the end & I had the best spaghetti allo scoglio I've had in Ireland. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this place, unfortunately I don't live anywhere near this restraunt but if I did I would definitely be a regular customer.

03/07/2025: I ordered a mocha, but unfortunately it was extremely hot—I burned my tongue on the first sip. I kindly asked the barista if I could get another one, this time just warm, not extra hot. Sadly, the second one was just as hot as the first, and I still couldn’t drink it.
While I understand that not everyone has years of experience as a barista, it doesn’t take much to know that coffee shouldn’t be served that hot, especially after a specific request. The barista wasn’t rude, but there was zero customer service and no attention to detail. Some basic training could really make a difference.
24/06/2025: Great spot, awesome coffee, matcha and desserts. Loved the friendly atmosphere and the overall artistic vibe. And the drone-perspective prints of Ireland’s coastline make me want to visit them too - so cool!

29/06/2025: Went for lunch, place was quiet. Ordered roast beef...I didn't like the slice of beef I was given so I asked for it to be changed.
The young fella Owen in the kitchen went on to bad mouth me while I was sitting across from the kitchen hearing every word, when I was paying my bill I said to him in a nice way I heard him badmouth me and as a customer I have a right to change food if I don't like it, he just kept smirking at me and again made a smart comment to me then turned the volume up on his music and start dancing.
Not very professional and very childish in my opinion it has turned me off going here.
The rest of the staff were lovely unfortunately it just takes 1 bad egg!!
29/06/2025: Stopped by for a family dinner with our adult children. Steak on the stone was amazing, wings were perfectly cooked and so tasty. Chef Eoin really out did himself looking after us. Full tummies and empty plates all round.

09/06/2025: Absolutely lovely wee place, my boyfriend and I ordered a portion of chips and some drinks and both were excellent. The staff are so friendly and polite, and made you feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend.

10/07/2025: 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend. I came in early on a Thursday evening and was met with the whole place buzzing with a great atmosphere. The food and drink were absolutely delicious and the service super friendly, especially the waitress Kamila. She recommended and made me an absolutely amazing cocktail. Will definitely be back.
05/07/2025: Had tapas and drinks here last night and found it throughly mediocre in all aspects. The food was defiantly not worth returning for.

06/07/2025: We were at The Market Bar Restaurant on June 25; a beautiful place with high ceilings, very nice furnishings and lots of space. Very relaxed and informal atmosphere thanks also to the kindness and friendliness of the staff. We ate very well with several vegetarian choices. The cost is reasonable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
06/07/2025: The food is incredibly mediocre and as such very overpriced. Nothing was terrible, but it was all fairly boring and under-seasoned. The drinks, however, were good. The server, despite having an empty restaurant, was hard to track down. Considering how many places are around Temple Bar, I was sad to have wasted a meal and $$ here. Staff was nice though.

07/07/2025: The new bar menu is overpriced and very poor quality. 20 euro for an awful club sandwich and inedible chips. Bad form, Buswells.
Also the bar has lost all its character with whatever attempt at a refurb.

20/07/2025: My experience at the No. 27 Bar & Lounge was phenomenal. As a first time traveler I felt so welcomed. Jack gave myself and family excellent service and was incredibly helpful and attentive! Will be recommending to friends and family.

22/07/2025: If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The service was awful, the food was somehow worse. We ordered water that was never brought to us. I ordered a frozen strawberry daiquiri based off a photo from the cocktail menu. When the drink came out it wasn’t frozen. I asked the waitress about it and she seemed annoyed and asked if she could bring me something else, but I said no thank you and I’d be fine with water. The french onion soup must’ve come out of a can, so we left it uneaten. The oysters tasted extremely fishy and made my dining partner feel sick, so she only ate 1/6. When we asked for the bill, with no water still, a serving of soup with two spoonfuls eaten, and four oysters untouched, nobody even asked if everything was ok. Not worth it and certainly not for the price! Run!

The service was perfect, everyone was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
