12/02/2024: We visited La Bodega Tapas last weekend as we have done on numerous occasions. This is undoubtedly one of the best places to visit in Dublin. The service is outstanding as the staff are very helpful, friendly, and polite, and we are always served with a smile. The menu is varied with many options of hot and cold tapas to suit everyone's apatite. The quality of the food is excellent, and we have never been disappointed with any of the food we have been served over the last 2 years. The prices on the wine are by far one of the best in the area and the quality of the cocktails is first class and I would strongly recommend the margarita. The place has a lovely atmosphere, is well furnished, warm and is perfect for any occasion. On every occasion during our visit, the owner always takes time out to ensure everything is fine. This is by far our favourite place for an evening out in Dublin, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this place for a great night out.

24/01/2024: What an amazing place to go! I’m amazed by the quality of the food. The presentation was marvelous! I’ve got the mushroom tapa and omg soooo delicious. I’m still thinking about the spicy marguerita I’ve had and by far was the best one I’ve ever had. The girls from the front of the house were so nice and kind to us. Will definitely come back.

24/03/2024: A very cozy place. The soup is super delicious, like it was freshly made and full of fish, mollusks... the plate seems small but it is quite filling. We accompanied it with squid rings and a side salad. Two non-alcoholic drinks. They sat us at the high table, it is comfortable. For wheelchairs there are lower tables. There is a fairly large terrace.

02/04/2024: Layla's is a very nice place just outside the busier center of Dublin. It reminded us a lot of Sophie's in the center, apparently it's family ;) we got a good spot and the food was good for the price we paid. The shrimp croquettes were excellent, we shared them. Then the pasta venison, which was very good and the pizza with ham was also very tasty. For dessert we had the cheesecake, which was on the dry side. The service was friendly and fast. We had the first meeting of the evening so I had the impression that we had to leave before eight o'clock :) There is a nice bar downstairs in the hotel and the terrace upstairs at Layla is also an inviting place for a drink. All in all, I think this is highly recommended for Dublin because it is just off the beaten track and has a beautiful view of Dublin, the mountains and the characteristic houses around it. If you want to go to the movies, you can also do that in this hotel.

30/03/2024: Nice food and drink but extremely rude manager so disrespectful and passive aggressive, she acted like we were very below her. Ruined the experience waiter wasn’t the kindest too

04/04/2024: A little expensive for being in the main area of ​​Howth. The food is delicious and the service pleasant.

29/03/2024: Nice pub in a good location. Nobody there when we arrived bar two others. Is a very large pub with great space to eat and drink. On less busy nights might benefit from some form of partitioning in order to give it a little warmth. Toilets were clean and maintained. We did not eat in this visit but there is a full food menu available.

26/03/2024: Can in on a Sunday after a match in croke park expecting it to be busy but surprisingly it's wasn't. I now know why. Sat down to order food, nobody doing table service went to the bar myself to get menus, ordered drinks but waited while they chatted behind the bar to get service even though I'm the only one at the bar. Waited at table 10 minutes for someone tk take food order this girl was very nice while taking order. Food was OK nothing special and small portions, chips severed where soft and soggy i.e. Wrong potatoes used that don't fry.
