The Bagel Bar

04/10/2024: I have been to the bagel bar several times now and though the food is perfectly fine i always find the staff exceptionally rude. Recently I ordered a bagel and it was dropped to the wrong table. When I realised I looked to the staff and explained but they started to giggle and made no effort to correct the mistake so as customers we were forced to swap the food ourselves. Terrible customer service and I haven’t been back since.
26/09/2024: Food was grand, nothing special or worthy of review. Definitely overpriced.

11/06/2024: Last 3 orders, missing items, wrong order, wrong address, food cold. Can't take simple instructions and then paying nearly 40e for food. Bye
25/04/2024: Try the chicken spice bag with satay sauce. It’s lovely. Chips are crunchy and nicely cooked. Not soggy like in other places.

13/07/2024: So disappointed with the food I ordered tonight i ordered chicken balls and egg fried rice. I got 3 miserable chicken balls overcooked 6 chips in on top soggy and half a portion of egg fried rice .Very poor quality of food not like the food I got before I won't be ordering again

26/05/2024: Whatever food business opens here, you can order whatever you wanted from the menu, be sure they get it wrong, I'm number 183 from tonight's service of whatever business is here. I get home and half of my order is right. Not ever going back unless I get a free meal to convince me otherwise, I choose to advocate that none eats here.

I drove all the way down and found it closed.
24/07/2024: another one selling out for a quick buck.....whatever happened to the welcoming family hotel ? Holiday overseas from now on and boycott these 'landlords'.....the likes of these hotels will be crying out for paying guests in time

04/04/2024: Disgusting unhygenic hole full of scruffy pakıs serving food poisoning for a 5er a dose.
31/03/2024: Food horrible. Said it to the staff who aggressively replied its what I ordered. Zero interest in keeping customers happy. They argued and shouted at another customer who also complained about the food. Avoid it if you can.

13/08/2024: Booked for dinner, lovely resturant, lovely atmosphere, food was very good! Have been before many times, food is always good!
28/07/2024: Whilst the food, staff and pub restaurant was very nice, we felt it was all very rushed and by 8.30/9.00pm if felt like it was closing up time and it was time to leave.
Maybe we were there on a very quiet night but we were back in our accommodation alot quicker than we thought we would be which is a shame because its a beautiful large bar and restaurant with lovely staff and ambiance.

02/11/2024: We visited Henry’s following our daughter’s graduation from ATU Sligo. When my wife contacted the restaurant team to inform them that we had been delayed, they were very understanding and accommodating and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived. The food was excellent and represented value for money. The service was also top class. Our table was visited by the owner who was keen to ensure that all was well and was genuinely interested in hearing of the reason for our visit. I will definitely visit this restaurant in the future and wish them continued (well deserved) success. Thanks to all!!
01/11/2024: What a FABULOUS experience! We booked from a phone call in Spain after lots of local restaurants hadn’t answered the phone or required website booking. The lovely man at the end of the phone booked us in for our son’s graduation lunch before we headed for the university. Wonderful service from all of the staff, good quality wines, high quality food and the same man came over and asked for me by name - the height of service. Having worked in the hospitality business as a bar and restaurant manager, I know what’s real and what’s professional and genuine and here you will receive both!
P.S best fish pie & chowder EVER!
