The best restaurants in Sligo

15/04/2025: Really good these guys have brought authentic French gastronomy to Mullaghmore Kids had the goat cheese salad which was good especially the sliced beetroot I had the scallops which were amazing and the salads were perfectly dressed as only French people can do Service was attentive and quick all in all a great place nous reviendrons

14/04/2025: After previously having had an uncomfortable experience here I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The meal took 45 mins to arrive, it was expensive and the food was at best average. It will be my last visit

11/07/2025: Our first time in this restaurant as we were passing by. A very modern restaurant with a very extensive menu. The portions were very large and the food quality was excellent. As were the local staff who were very nice. Can highly recommend.

26/06/2025: We had a gathering of 7 friends here last night.food excellent every plate was emptied.The service outstanding.This place never disappoints.well done.

11/02/2025: We had a lovely experience in Ait Eile last weekend. Service was excellent. Lovely choice of wines and the food was superb. I had cod which was absolutely delicious. Others had steak, salmon and a variety of starters. Apart from the steak being a little over cooked, the meal was just a lovely experience.

07/01/2025: I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Ait Eile, firstly I was warmly welcomed in by Tracy. There were lots of options for both adults and kids on the menu. Katie, my server, was really kind and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. After my mains I had a warm brownie dessert, it was unbelievable Overall I would highly recommend Ait Eile to anyone looking for a clean and welcoming environment to eat.

29/05/2025: My wife and I dined there on the recommendation of our B&B host. We were not disappointed. The menu is all encompassing, the food is beautiful and the meals are large and very reasonably priced. The service too was good and the staff were very engaging. If you’re in the area, it’s well worth visiting 10/10

25/04/2025: Popped in for Sunday Lunch as we do any time we are staying in Bundoran. We got seated right away with no booking, but we came at a great time as unfortunately, anyone after us had to wait as there were bookings coming in. The Vegetable Soup for starters was delicious and we opted for the Roast Beef with Peppercorn Sauce and it was also very nice. Left us not fit for dessert!! All of the staff are extremely friendly and quick to accommodate to needs. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area or passing through!

28/05/2024: Closed. Looks like might have been closed for a while. Hope it re opens next time we visit.

25/03/2025: The hotel was lovely. The staff were great, the room was nice and comfortable and warm. But the tv had only 1 in every 4 station was working.

11/02/2026: €16.20 for a takeaway chicken curry and rice? Shocking price. And tasted awful.
