The best restaurants in Sligo

25/06/2026: Came in for a quick lunch and to get some relief from the heatwave. Sandwich was great, but I brought with me a soda I had just purchased at another shop, and an employee very rudely told me I could not drink it in there. I have never heard of a restaurant with a rule like that. It was odd and the employee’s attitude was very off putting.

21/04/2026: ABSOULUTETLY adored the service it was all happy vibes and genuinely made my day. The hot chocolate aswell was heavenly. Absolutely recommend.

25/07/2026: Staff were exceptionally watchful for clean tables and disposable food containers

21/07/2026: I drove up to the order window, placed my order and moved to the delivery window where I waited a couple of minutes before being given a Coke and told to go to the car park, wait and then return to the delivery window. I didn't get the humour but definitely drew conclusions.

01/02/2026: Too many chips which were soggy and tasteless. They overdid the covering of the cod. I went there a few years ago and was disappointed and nothing has changed.

29/04/2026: Chicken kebab was really bad but the staff were sound. I think I deserve it for ordering a kebab in an Italian restaurant tbh

20/06/2026: I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but I wanted to highlight the excellent service we received at lunchtime today. The two young staff members who served us were incredibly friendly, professional, and patient, especially as we don’t speak much English. They took the time to explain everything to us with a smile, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The pizzas were delicious as well. Keep up the great work, and thank you again! 💯

08/08/2026: If I could give no stars I would.I called as 5:00 on a Friday ,delighted to have found a subway as I was working in the area.I went to counter and was told they were putting food away as they close at 6:00. Avoid this subway. Rude and Lazy.

04/06/2026: Order was wrong, ordered a chicken and bacon sub with red onion and sweet corn, got the sweet corn but not the red onion got red peppers instead, also ordered an extra cookie and never got it, second time this has happened when ordering and extra cookie and its starting to really annoy me was fine the first time but the second time not so much

21/02/2026: Really excellent quality and consistent. I travel to Sligo frequently and I make it a priority to get brioche for the kids plus any assortment of pastries, sausage roles, and jambons.

08/06/2026: The hotel is relatively centrally located in Sligo, just a short walk from the town center with its many pubs and restaurants. A large parking lot directly at the hotel offers free parking. The reception area and lobby are reminiscent of a grand hotel. The staff (reception, dining room) were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent in terms of selection, variety, and freshness. Our room was spacious but unfortunately lacked air conditioning, which I expect as standard in a hotel of this category. It was very hot in the room, which was unpleasant and made it difficult to sleep. The fitness center was unfortunately closed on weekends, which I found very disappointing. Other hotels handle this better. I don't need supervision or guidance to exercise.

19/07/2026: This is a tough place to do business with. They do good food but they treat you like dirt So your choice have a good meal and get treated terrible bad Or keep your dignity and wat else where

29/07/2026: Really good restaurant, we was not expecting to eat so much delicious food for that great price. Waiter was so polite and nice, and rice chips is awesome. Portions are huge, we took Japanese udon and took almost everything home for dinner. Would recommend 👍
