21/10/2025: Very good and friendly staff and a very quick service.

03/09/2025: Yes it's a good McDonald's. The staff are always very friendly and food quality is up to standard. Can't complain.

06/10/2025: Most of the time we ordered it was okay but we got the completely wrong order after we phoned in and we're told that we hadn't ordered it when we did, the staff took no responsibility for it and left us out with the completely wrong order

04/10/2025: Spring rolls and special fried rice were great, man who served us was sp mice and gave our friend who didn't order anything a free snickers

24/09/2025: Called in for a bite to eat, I’ve multiple allergies and the manageress approached me and assured me she would make sure all would be fine. Minutes later myself and my wife sat down to a big tasty meal , lovely chunks of chicken and fresh chips all washed down with a big drink, a big thank you Dianne you know your stuff and we,ll definitely be back

11/08/2025: Ok so I asked for a cheeseburger without onions and they still gave me onions but the chips are nice

28/09/2025: So disappointed. Love the food here. But twice now I’ve ordered vegetable samosas and gotten meat ones. The first time, they told me they’d deliver the right ones and apologised. Took 45 mins. The second time I just asked for a refund (I also ordered two naan and they only delivered one). After two phone calls and the manager finally talking to me, he agreed to a refund. That was a month ago. No refund. Beautiful food but unfortunately, terrible terrible service!

21/07/2025: An absolute disgrace 😤 there prices and cost of produce are near extortionate, paying 3.25 for a chocolate muffin amd also paying a charge of 75 cent to use there tables and chairs ,plus paying 9.30 cent for two coffees with an added charge to use a chair ,thank god we are only passing through and will never be back FACT

25/06/2025: Tasty food and coffee. They only had granary bread but that was fine.

28/08/2025: The best bar in Sligo for Live Music and great atmosphere. Lots of funny and nice locals, great music, perfect pub atmosphere. We liked it a lot and would come back without any second thought.

10/10/2025: I made a booking directly with the Hotel using my Visa debit card and received a confirmation. I then received this e mail from reception " To hold your booking with the Debit Card provided we would require payment at this time, this is in line with our Hotel Policy & indicated on all websites" I contacted reception who advised that I had to use my credit card which would not be charged and could cancel 72 hours in advance. I have never encountered this payment arrangement anywhere I have travelled. Cancelled booking and requested confirmation by email which not responded to.

09/10/2025: This hotel is a very far cry from four star. The tubs/showers are treacherous, the rooms are dated, and some of the staff are just plain nasty. I was with a Cosmos tour so I didn’t choose the hotel. If you have a choice, run! There is one elevator, not ideal if you’re traveling with a group of 48 people. The porters worked hard, but there was quite a wait for the luggage to arrive. Our room had one outlet which was approximately 10 feet from the bed, making it impossible to use a CPAP machine. I asked if they had a long extension cord and they brought a surge protector with an 18 inch cord. I explained again and they, again brought a surge protector. We gave up. Breakfast was horrific. There are two sides to the dining room. They told us the tour had to sit on the left side. There were 2 seats left, not together, at one table of 6 smushed into the corner and difficult to get to so we opted to sit on the right side which was empty except for one table of 8 people who were with our tour. They chased us into the buffet room and said we couldn’t sit there. I explained that the only two remaining seats weren’t acceptable and sat at the table for two. Mind you, my breakfast consisted of one piece of sausage since the rest of the food looked disgusting so I would be at the table for a very short time. They positively harassed me and kept rudely saying I had to move. I told her I would rather leave since their breakfast consisted of cold runny eggs, no fruit and no pastry. I reported the incident to our tour director, but I don’t think anything was done about it. Don’t stay here and don’t eat here.

03/11/2025: The garavogue has turned into a dump of a pub with some of the most ignorant bouncers I've ever met. Thankfully I don't go out much but will make sure to not go back there.

22/09/2025: We had an excellent experience on Saturday for my sister in law to be’s hen party. We had a cocktail class, led by the very professional bar manager (I’m so sorry I cannot recall his name), expertly led and very accommodating, my sister is a wheelchair user and he brought the cocktail ingredients to her table and completed the demo - afterwards we went into Maeve’s for a drink where they cleared a table to ensure we all got to sit together at a low table to accommodate the wheelchair. We then went to Waxies for our dinner, we had a two course menu - the food was divine and the staff were absolutely lovely there also.. We returned to Garravogue later on for some dancing, a table was reserved for us alongside some complimentary shots!! Special shout out to Robbie, the head doorman - he was brilliant, nothing was ever an issue, he was so accommodating 😁

07/07/2025: I enjoy the food but not the beverages. I ordered a cappuccino which was very weak and tasteless. Was advised they use medium roast. Tea also bland. Not to my taste but the cakes and scones are good.

01/06/2025: Very bad food avoid. Food ... Was Not what was ordered. 2x chicken (fillet) bacon and cheese and toppings 2x curry cheese coleslaw chips! If only I could add a picture.. What I got,was a dryed out 2x chicken burger.."not fillet"cheap chicken ..no bacon no cheese..and something green a slimy maybe lettuce at some time in it life..but not even burger sauce no dressing...only a big lump of coleslaw on both .. Shocking... To see... Both burger's completely uneatable..... Curry chips....no comment! No customer care..out of sight out of mind... Next time il be spending my 30 euro elsewhere... Food will be returned tomorrow when re opened

08/09/2025: We went to eat in but decided to take out as it wasn’t licensed and didn’t feel very welcoming. The food was not great at all, overwhelmed by chilli flakes and tasted like a supermarket curry sauce - no sign of fresh spices.

07/09/2025: Food was nice.Service left alot to be desired,also 72 euro for 2 mains,2 starters and 1 drink was quite expensive.
