20/05/2025: I was travelling through Ireland on my own and had a stop in Mullingar. This pub is absolutely lovely. The owners, the staff and the people there are so kind and I felt very welcomed. Even though I was travelling on my own i didn’t feel alone there. I’d definitely recommend popping in there when you are in Mullingar! It’s a very original Irish experience; the beer is amazing and the nights there you’ll never forget!
26/04/2025: This is the nicest bar in all of Ireland. It’s clean, spacious, and has great service and selections. All the staff are warm and friendly.

10/05/2025: My order was surf in turf, lumped together filet steak, chewy and stringy, over pink for medium to well done. Warm water served.
Disappointed on this occasion as its not cheap. No reflection on the bill after the complaint.

28/03/2025: I had my daughters ears pierced here a couple of months ago. Joanne was amazing with her! She was very patient with my 7 year old daughter and took her time. My daughter's ear looked as if she had always had them done. She's had no infection, and they have healed perfectly. I would definitely recommend Angel Art for piercing! 💚

25/05/2025: Dog friendly restaurant. My dog was allowed in, even given a treat from the chef.
Food was nice, staff were extremely nice. I had a ginger ale and it was from the local area. It's a very nice way of doing business!
Price is very reasonable as well.
Will definitely come back with our dog.

05/05/2025: I would recommend this hotel to any who listen.
From the minute we walked true the door the staff couldn't do enough for us as we where a group off 36 ladies. The room where huge and spotless. From the evening dinner to breakfast and bar food the food was delicious. This place is in the centre off the town and would be great for children as there a park right be side it .I will return
07/04/2025: Had a family dinner for my son's 16th birthday on April 8th. Food was exceptional and the service was second to none, really top notch service. Will definitely return and recommend on this visit alone. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

18/05/2025: Sahara is a gem, we are so lucky to have a restaurant like this in Mullingar. This is where I bring anyone visiting as there's something for everyone with really good sharing options. The food is always fresh and full of flavours with generous portions. We're working our way through the menu and have yet to find something we don't like!
17/05/2025: I knew this place was one of the most expensive in town, but I decided to give it a try, hoping the quality would justify the price. To be fair, the food was genuinely delicious – no complaints there. What really surprised me, though, were the portion sizes. They were so small, I honestly thought they were kids' meals. Spending €42 on takeaway and still feeling hungry afterwards is quite disappointing. It’s a real shame, because the food itself is great.

21/05/2025: Wholesome kitchen did takeaway for a birthday party I was having at home; the food was excellent and they were great in the lead up, ordering process was easy and everyone really enjoyed the food. Would definitely use these guys again for another party!

22/02/2025: Lovely evening, great food and great service. Highly recommended. Pat was attentive, and helpful throughout. For Starters we both had Goat cheese and onion tarts. Delicious. Butternut squash risotto was beautifully cooked and delicious, as was Beef cheeks. Desserts also fabulous, apple crumble and also Pavlova. Service throughout was exceptional. We will book here again for sure if we return.
01/12/2024: We had a family lunch for 14 people for a birthday & anniversary celebration. The restaurant manager Pat could not do enough for us. He was so welcoming, personable and fantastic with all the kids. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon and making the occasion so special. I’m looking forward to my next meal there. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
