21/02/2026: The Delivery service and customer service is a joke, Rang for a delivery at 5.45 and told delivery would be 50 mins, no problem, 2 Hours later 7.45 rang to be told its 5 mins away, rang back at 8.20 to cancel it and got a dog on the Phone who has no customer service skills or manners, never would i recommend this place or darken the door again, (Edit) then get a phonecall at 8.43 for the Eircode to deliver the food 😂

07/06/2025: I dont usually leave bad reviews but feel like i have to this time!! Im a regular here for takeaway coffee but we decided to sit inside and enjoy a coffee. To my digust a woman with 2 dogs came into the shop and proceeded to sit down and let her 2 dogs sit up on the table and then let them drink from the small jug of milk on the table!! Totally disgusting and both staff seen this whilst passing her and said nothing. I have no problem with dogs in a shop but up on tables that people are eating and drinking from and then letting the dogs drink out of the jugs and cups, says alot about the hygiene of this place! We wont be coming back here again, we dont usually sit in as the place isnt the cleanest and tiolets filthy but this experience has sealed the deal for me and wont be back even for takeaway coffee!

19/11/2025: Great place on a Saturday night !! There is one bar tender and he makes the best cocktails 🍹 Can get really busy. Could do with a new playlist for outside area as it’s always the same

24/08/2025: Absolute joke, waited there for 10 mins whilst they served other customers when they finally acknowledge us we were just shouted at that they had no guacamole and then tried to order something else and told to join the back of a queue of people that came in whilst we were waiting, I just stormed out absolute rubbish, don’t even bother with this the lad working there was an absolute disgrace

20/10/2025: Very disappointed with Chef kebab, ordered the pizza deal, when it came I was missing half the order, I said this to the driver who told me point blank I was wrong and that was my order, I told him to look at the receipt and pointed out exactly what was missing he then told me "the dips are in the box", again told him no I'm missing wedges, dippers and 3 drinks? He then told me that they never gave these to him and he will contact the shop, then told us another driver would be on the way with the rest of the order. 20 minutes later the second driver arrives, wedges and dippers freezing cold and again missing the drinks, said this to him and he contacted the shop to say another driver would be on the way, another 15 mins go by and the first delivery driver we had comes back and gives the drinks, giving out to my husband saying he is "only the delivery driver", when my husband didn't say anything other than open the door to him? I understand that they may be busy, I worked many years in the service industry but that is shocking and zero accountability, no apology no nothing, always loved getting a chef kebab as a treat but I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

26/11/2025: I used to come here every weekend with the boys and it was a different place. I would get drunk on 7 or 8 vodkas now I’m sober after 10 definitely watered down the pints.

20/11/2025: Nightclub is ok it’s not the best. Full of younger crowd . The main problem with mojos is the djs !! they can’t mix to save themselves soo bad same songs all the time playing.

28/09/2025: Food was meh. It's far from Chinese food and that's for sure. Service was good. Atmosphere felt like a library. I wouldn't return if I'm being honest.

26/08/2025: The food is delicious and very well made! I haven't had Chinese food as good as this for so long in Mullingar! Of all the restaurants I've tried, this is undoubtedly the best in town, and it reminded me of a much-loved Chinese restaurant in my hometown, which was undoubtedly where you could taste real Chinese food. Congratulations to the kitchen team for making the food so well! And they deliver to Multyfarnham! Very good.

19/07/2025: Stopped here last night while passing through and got Prawn fried rice and a 4in1. Food waa beautiful. Ordered and paid online and it was ready for collection when we got there. Staff was very pleasant. Will deffs stop here again when passing through.

31/08/2025: A large, well-decorated, comfortable cafe with muffins and coffee, matcha tea, etc., high prices but similar to other cafes.

01/08/2025: As we were in Mullingar for a few days and in search of places offering beverages and light meals, we came across Chocolate Brown. From the moment we entered the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and we were quickly seated and served. The coffees and toasted offerings were excellent and very satisfying. This establishment is definitely a pit stop above all in Mullingar. Do visit and you won't be disappointed.

19/11/2025: Was hoping to book a room there but it seems the Irish aren't welcomed there anymore.

15/11/2025: Young barstaff (the young man in particular) were quite dismissive and rude; they were actually engaging in laughing at certain groups of people who came in, specifically with a group of older men at the bar who were clearly the "regulars". People being tolerated making bad comments on premises is one thing, but the hired barstaff laughing along with them is entirely another. Really disappointing. We visited this bar in the past (both in 2019 and 2023) and had no issues with the staff etc, not sure why this kind of behaviour is accepted nowadays.

13/02/2026: Of the three aspects of this establishment Google are asking me to review, food is the only one that you have some level of expectation of before going. And it was only OK. Service and atmosphere shouldn't be too high on your list of priorities when choosing to eat here. That said, we chose to have the food brought to our table by the staff having ordered at the self service station. The food was promptly brought to us by a friendly staff member. No complaints. We ordered two "Big Arch" meals and the food appeared to have been freshly made. Unfortunately they could have been much hotter. They were tasty and certainly scratched the McDonalds itch, but the were more on the warm side. The "atmosphere" was non existent, but it is a McDonalds restaurant and we were in there on a rainy Thursday afternoon. Aside from that, its not the cleanest place to dine either. Most of the tables needed to be wiped down. There was graffiti on the semi-clean one we sat at, and the toilets were filthy. But hey! Its McDonald's. You don't rock up with high expectations.

31/01/2026: Check your orders; they're not delivering ordered and paid items. After contacting them, they refused to resolve the issue.

14/03/2026: We were there early March 2026 with a table of 8. Understaffed which isn't the servers fault. 3 staff on with one waitress serving the entire place on her own and she did a fantastic job. The x2 front of house staff were completely out of their depth and didnt seem to care that the place was falling apart around them. Other tables were approaching the bar handing cocktails back and bottles of warm, unopened white wine handed out in return. 45 minutes before a starter landed down. Had to reminded the guy to open our red and point out chipped glasses. Menu very limited with supplement charges throughout. Great potential and Id love to see them do well but avoid folks sorry to say.

01/03/2026: Dreadful! Service was appalling! Food was undercooked and over processed. How can a restaurant serve shop bought guacamole? And then slather it all over a burger. Poor quality wine but service was the worst part by far. My partner commented on it looking upmarket from the outside but the food was definitely not restaurant quality. I was trying it as I had hoped to arrange a big bday lunch there. Definitely won't be going back.

14/07/2025: Pretty strange place. My BF was refused entry because the bloke "didn't like the look of me"! Australian/Irish, completely sober. Never happened in his life before!!!!

05/05/2025: Had a night out here recently for a Friday night that was quiet enough. No problem with seating, and the atmosphere was jolly and friendly. At one point, in the night, the volume went right up and stayed up, which was agitating when we were sitting right under the speakers. That's the only reason it didn't get a 5 star.
