The best restaurants in Mullingar

02/10/2024: Got a steak sandwich meal very well priced and was delicious service was fantastic! Ice coffee and milkshakes are good to would definitely recommend! 👍🏽

03/09/2024: Old school bar with great drinks, service, pool, and darts. Best breakfast in town. The chicken schnitzel burger is really beautiful. Very dog friendly.

23/10/2024: I have been to this Superman's a few times over the years, and I've never had an issue. Today, however, I met a young man who I can only describe as rude. When he served me, I felt he wasn't listening and had to repeat my order for him. When looking for a table, there were four or five tables that were dirty and rubbish on them. My food took a long time and when it arrived it was wrong. I had ordered a plain chicken burger, and on the box was a plain sticker, but it wasn't plain. I went back up, and another young man said he would get me a fresh one. He arrived thirty seconds later with it, and I was my original burger, just scrapped clean. When I was finished and putting my rubbish in the bin, the bins were full. Several other customers had to wipe tables themselves to sit down. This was shocking, and I will not be returning.

08/10/2024: Called in on a Wednesday and ordered the Game On meal and kebab. Very impressed, especially with the kebab. Great value and great food

14/05/2024: First-time visitor. Cool place to have a beer. Relaxing atmosphere good mix of people and friendly staff.

28/10/2024: Fish and onion rings were fine, chips were dreadful. They were rock hard with no flavour. The place was also very cold.

29/09/2024: Food is delicious.The staff is very nice especially the waitress from 13:00 to 14:00.Will definitely come back more often .

13/06/2024: The owner and workers were really sweet! We’re from out of town and stopped here across from our hotel and we truly enjoyed it, the sushi rolls were so big! I wish we could eat here all the time! The only reason we spent more was because we had more people, but it was very reasonably priced!

28/05/2024: the best place for sushi in mullingar i go here all the time. the service is always great and the sushi is always fresh, have never been disappointed. also great prices i can get so much and don’t have to spend too much money. would highly highly recommend!!!

23/10/2024: Tables are usually dirty, Strange atmosphere, but chicken nuggets and fries are crispy, never soggy, Got 10 instead of 9 once, yay. nice prices

20/10/2024: very poor and food cold ..many times I had to bring food back up because of wrong order..no point in complaining because they do nothing about it .Management just don't care ..how hard can it be to get an order right ?

30/10/2024: Overpriced to say the least!! Especially for what you get, never again. Didn't like the food at all but it at least it was fresh I suppose... won't be returning. Ph and a bit of heat wouldn't go amiss!!

29/08/2024: Our first visit tonight and we will definitely go back. Lovely friendly staff, great service and the food was delicious. We had the Set menu for two.

30/10/2024: I went in and got a regular soup. It was nice and warm and the staff were nice. Prices are affordable.

06/10/2024: Great place to either sit in or just grab a bit... fantastic menu and excellent staff. I've literally never been disappointed. Try the South West Chicken... unreal. Hats off to the staff, always very friendly.

21/09/2024: A very convenient place, the coffee is more or less tasty if you take it not by the bucket but by a small portion. Take care of yourself.

16/08/2024: We dropped by for coffee and had an excellent flat white so we went back for lunch. Lovely, friendly staff, good coffee and drinks. If you're in Mullingar, we'll worth a visit

12/07/2024: Seemed to be a decent place. We were at a beer festival in the back room, so don't know too much about the main bar. Was quiet enough early on, then filled up with a younger crowd as the night went on

30/06/2024: Went to Smiddy's for the Mullingar Wild Beer Festival. Nice pub, good atmosphere. The beer festival was down the back of the pub and had an interesting selection of beers. Some really unusual brews to tickle the palates of the beer geeks out there along with a few more standard brews. Staff were great and made sure everyone was fed with the BBQ

16/10/2024: Best Traditional Cod and Chips I have had in many years. Was in Mullingar for 2 days of work related training, and Linos was around the corner from the hotel. Based on goigle reviews, I took a chance and didn't regret it. Lovely staff very friendly, and even though I was a stranger, the owner Lino was a pure gent to me when serving. Would highly recommend to all who are passing. I'm looking forward already to when I get the chance to call again.

14/10/2024: On way home. Got quarter pounder and curry chips. There was a wait but it was worth it. Fresh, hot delicious food. Staff were great but not inquisitive and a grateful ,thankful bye bye.
