The best restaurants in Mullingar

26/11/2025: The place was quite dirty and definitely understaffed, at least during our weekday visits. One positive point is that children under one year old enter for free, although the area reserved for babies is quite small compared to the others. The main issue is the lack of staff: usually just one person outside and one behind the bar. Because of this, you often have to wait a long time just to leave, since a staff member needs to come and open the gate. Has the management ever considered using a remote control for the gate? I understand that during busy times there might always be someone at reception (or at least I hope so), but with a remote system the problem would be solved at any time. Another option could be installing a high-level button to open the gate, out of children’s reach but accessible to adults. The person behind the bar is practically invisible, as she’s always locked away doing prep, while the only staff member outside is running around like crazy, even when the place is almost empty. Overall, it’s not very well organised and definitely dirtier than what you would expect for a children’s venue. That said, it’s still a good alternative in Mullingar, but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.

24/11/2025: Most of the lanes aren’t working properly. We had to switch 2 lanes cuz we were literally staying and not playing It’s very slow and annoying cuz you pay per hour not by game which makes it unfortunate when lanes are super slow and just gotta wait there 2,3 solid minutes for every round. Very disappointed

04/09/2025: I was disappointed today when I went in for a breakfast but discovered there was no chef to make one so had to opt on a sausage roll

13/01/2026: I simply loved this place! We were visiting the city and found this coffee shop on one of the main streets. The atmosphere, the taste of the coffee, the service… Fantastic!

09/01/2026: we paid for extra sprinkles on both of our 99 cones and when we got them, they didn't have sprinkles so of course we asked for some and the woman said we have to pay, but we did already and we told her that. she didn't even give us a full sprinkle spoonful. disappointing.

30/11/2025: Fabulous pastries and sausage rolls, however there is a major bottleneck with coffee. Not vey busy in a Sunday morning and still waited almost 10 to get my coffee after paying for it.

22/11/2025: Oh good LORD. Greatest place on earth. Staff are lovely, food is incredible, building is gorgeous and clean. Each item on the menu is delicious and inventive. The place is so clean I could eat off it. And the staff are so unbelievably kind. SUCH good energy and always up for a chat. I could be having the worst day ever and one minute in there, im cured of everything. Im not even glazing. Keep doing whatever you're doing and I look forward to seeing the business continue to grow 😊

22/09/2025: Had a absolutely fantastic dinner with a group of 20 yesterday. Food was amazing hot and plentiful. Staff could not do enough for us . Would definitely return in the further

27/07/2025: We had dinner here last night for my parents wedding anniversary. Everything was fantastic, the staff were all lovely and the food was great. The manager was very nice and the attention to detail was great. I would highly recommend this place

19/09/2025: Ordered a doner kebab, it was small, meat not fresh, for this price you get twice as much in other take ways. I still can not get rid of this nasty after taste, avoid buying kebabs there.
