The best restaurants in Mullingar

20/12/2025: Some days ago I went there with a couple of friends and we were delighted. They were so pasionate with their job, and they offered us an incredible experience. We'll come back without any doubt!!! We were amazed with the treat and with all the details they had to us🥰

09/12/2025: This was truly a dream come true experience. The service here was so kind and helpful. We went to see all the Niall Horan stuff and we were truly amazed. The owners son showed us everything and helped us with all. We are absolutely delighted and very grateful. Sincerely I can’t recommend this place enough.

07/06/2026: Perfect position midway on the main street with a large free carpark at the rea. Very busy for food starting with breakfast, good menu

28/05/2026: Been here twice on a visit to friends in Mullingar from England. Its my favourite shop to visit in this great town. We're visiting again soon, cant wait 👌

07/06/2026: This is inside Harbor it's a wide place, it can be busy in the morning on weekend to have a breakfast. And nice place to have a coffee in the afternoon with friends. I ordered full breakfast all is good except the bacon is not well cooked. The price is not bad, same price with other restaurant. Service is quick you need to wait if other customer is ahead of order from you. Parking is not free you need to pay. Will come back again. You can come here and after go to Dunnes for grocery or to other shops.

27/05/2026: I had an unpleasant experience on Monday with an employee (I heard another member of staff call her Shannon). She was extremely rude while taking my order and while I was waiting to collect my order I witnessed her berating one of the younger teens working there which was unprofessional and just nasty. Very uncomfortable experience.

09/11/2025: We had a fantastic morning coffee here! This is a lovely little cafe to visit, where the staff are very welcoming and helpful; the coffee is also delicious and strong, accompanied by a perfect carrot cake recommended by one of the baristas. There are many different areas in which to sit, each offering a different atmosphere and comfortable vibe. The music was a nice, upbeat addition, and not so loud that it was hard to chat. I noted the premises is dog friendly, which makes sense given the outdoor area. The front of shop is bright and seating is well spaced throughout. The baristas brought the coffees to the table, my flat white was good and strong which was great for early in the day, and good value for €3.70 and the carrot cake with walnuts was top notch for €3.80. They have a wide selection of individual cookies, cakes and other treats on offer, as well as some more filling options.

05/11/2025: The best cappuccino and espresso in Mullingar. The Brazilian asai was nice. Lovely place, an amazing atmosphere and music. I recommended it.

26/05/2026: Fine traditional Irish bar, small log fire burning (a rainy day in May). Fine pint of Guinness.

24/05/2026: Lovely family run bar in lower Main Street of Buncrana Has a unique interior with every wall decorated with wine corks There’s a couple of bars inside the pub and a nice outdoor beer garden with nice flowers and shrubs They have music on weekends and we saw a couple of good singers and band grew during the night as more musicians turned up and joined them as happens in good Irish pubs open in the day till late

05/05/2026: I love this place have been may times started during lockdown as we brought the dogs at sat outside In the garden area. Everything is great parking might be a challenge at peak times but never for us

04/05/2026: It feels a bit like a little sister of Avoca ;) The same vibe, but still quite a long way to go to reach the same level. Overall it's pretty good, nice pastries, and tasty coffee. The shop part is very pretty, you can find a lot of interesting pieces there.

11/05/2026: Had a good time. The staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't realise that they only started their Al a carte service from 3. But they do carvery. Mine was delicious, I had the chicken Kiev. My boys had chips and goujons and did not like the goujons.

23/09/2025: Nothing to say top place in towm great staff cosy and amazing food and coffee well done to all staff and management. I'm a regular visitor and a local my favourite place in towm.

08/06/2026: Very impressed with the standard of cleanliness and the friendly service. The hotel is very well situated in the heart of the town and I would definitely recommend it, great value for money.

28/09/2025: Food, service and atmosphere were okay, but overall the price didn’t match the quality. Staff could pay a bit more attention to the room — for example, we asked for the bill but had to remind them again before we could pay. An average experience.

27/05/2026: Food was ok, although portions aren't very generous for the price. First server wasn't especially friendly and got my order wrong. Second server was very nice, though. Men's bathroom was pretty nasty. The overall atmosphere is very nice, they have the American diner market cornered in Mullingar.

20/04/2026: The best cafe in mullingar so fresh and proper cupa tea on a big tea pot. Always brings me back
