08/12/2025: We ordered pizzas for our staff night with 25 people and both the food and service were fantastic. Richard and Leanne were incredibly helpful with arranging our pre-order. Everyone really enjoyed the pizzas. Thanks guys!

27/11/2025: New review posted today on end of first review - Waiting for library to open was never as good😊popped into the red kettle - nice crowd of people coming and going, ordered pancakes, maple syrup and crispy rashers on side with a latte. All arrived hot, sweet, crunchy and delicious! Even better was the price €8.40 - wow - this has to be a go to cafe in wexford. 12/12/2025: We went here for our anniversary and we plan on trying the entire menu! Everything was great, the burgers and chips were customised for us and WOW! The service was stellar, a better atmosphere than many beer gardens. Friendly dog stopped by. We really enjoyed our visit, thank you 😃

28/11/2025: Cozy place of about 15 tables. Early-Bird and 2 additional seatings. Very small staff that hustles. The flavors on all dishes were spot on. My rare+1 steak was exactly that. The prefix makes it easy, but you can ala-cart if you insist. Beer and wine was available, 4 pages of the menu. As a critic? The exploded spring roll doesn't make sense. The genius of a spring roll is the mix of flavor in each bite. Same with the deconstructed dessert. Why make pie hard to eat? Enjoyable place solo or couples.

21/11/2025: Amazing seafood. The monkfish was delicious with a squid ink bulgar and lots of interesting accompaniments and my wife had a lovely citrusy lemon sole. Will be back. Thanks guys

26/12/2025: I stayed here the day before Christmas Eve and overall the experience was just okay. The check-in process was awkward from the start. The reception staff member serving me walked away mid-conversation after asking if I was checking in, and another staff member had to take over. It came across as abrupt and unprofessional, especially for a four-star property. I've read the low rating reviews and it looks like other people have similar experiences. Not very good for a 4 star Hotel, this isn't Ibis Budget. There was also confusion at reception with Christmas gifts displayed behind the desk. Every other guest checking in or out appeared to be receiving one, but my partner and I didn’t. When we asked, we were told the gifts were only for people buying gift cards, but there was no sign explaining this and we weren’t offered the option to purchase one either at check in. Given it was the day before Christmas Eve, it felt uncomfortable and a bit excluding. I later double checked with another staff member and was told the same thing, which just reinforced that clearer communication was needed. Maybe the person running reception should work elsewhere. The hotel itself was okay. The gym felt quite run down with older equipment, but the pool looked nice. I’ve since read other reviews mentioning similar issues with reception staff, so it may be time for management to review how the front desk is run, as the poor service experience seems to be a recurring problem. I'm glad I am not the only one!

22/12/2025: Absolutely gorgeous food, 4 mains and they were all incredibly good. The slow cooked beef rib was the best beef iv ever had. The staff were absolutely brilliant and on hand for everything. The kids were well entertained by the guys. Top quality food at a very reasonable price.
