23/02/2025: When we come Wexford, we try to visit Cote. Perhaps the most reassuring thing about this restaurant over the years is the quality of the food has remained at a high standard. Staff are helpful and pleasant and they have not followed the incredibly annoying and growing trend of interrupting diners while eating to ask whether everything is okay. Bravo ! On our latest visit, my wife had the goat's cheese starter following a pork pie mains. I had the pork belly to start followed by a mains of plaice. All perfectly cooked, flavoured and presented. For the quality of the food and service, Cote is great value. A really excellent meal !

18/03/2025: I came here for lunch with my family on Paddy's Day, and the service was horrible—especially from the older lady with short hair, who I assume was the greeter. All the tables were occupied, which was understandable, but the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded, and the atmosphere seemed calm. I asked for a table and was met with a sharp “We’re full.” No hello. No warm welcome. Just pure rudeness. I then asked if we could wait, and she responded with another sharp “No.” She added that we could come back in half an hour or an hour. This didn’t make sense to me—if we wanted to eat there and a table opened up in 10 or 15 minutes, we’d miss our chance to be seated. I asked again to clarify whether we could wait in the empty open waiting area, and with one last dismissive and slightly annoyed “No,” the conversation was over. We ended up standing outside Lambert’s, trying to figure out our next move, and saw others go in to check if there were tables available, only to be sent back out. While waiting, I wondered why they couldn’t simply allow a line to form outside. It didn’t seem that difficult—there was space on the sidewalk, no fire hazard, and it would have been a reasonable solution. Instead, we had to find somewhere else to eat while our daughter cried from hunger. We eventually found another restaurant, which also filled up soon after we arrived. But even when it was full, the hostess there empathetically informed customers that there were no available seats and even offered to take their number to call them when a table opened up. That level of customer service was miles ahead of what we experienced at Lambert’s. I can’t help but feel that the staff at Lambert’s take their popularity and the fact that many people would be visiting for Paddy's Day for granted. No matter how they treat people, they know more customers will keep coming in. I ate here once before and really enjoyed the food, but after this experience, I’m struggling to see myself ever going back.

16/02/2025: Visited here before the Damien Dempsey gig on February 15th. Glad we did. It was delicious. We had steak and ribs and both were top notch. Simple but effective menu. The girl working there was friendly and sorted a table for us at the last minute. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend visiting Charred if you are in Wexford.

08/02/2025: Charred has amazing food me and my wife (vegatarian) have been a number of times and the food and service has always been excellent. As a neurodivergent the LED lighting vibrates and bothers me and depending on where seated the music can be very loud but the guys can be accommodating and lower it when asked. I’m not mentioning this as a negative more for those like me who might struggle with it. Overall I’d highly recommend and it is priced just right in my opinion.

28/02/2025: The restaurant reopened this week as 'The Old Granary', after spending the last number of years as '10 West'. My wife and I ordered starters of Calamari and Chicken Wings. The calamari was tasty and light, the wings were big in comparison to the size of regular wings in other restaurants, and the Korean sauce over them was a really nice accompaniment. We then had the Pork belly with crackling, and the Beef short rib. The portion sizes were very generous. The crackling on the pork was perfect, and the short rib was delicious and incredibly tender. We got an additional three sides which were equally lovely, though the portion sizes of the mains were so generous we didn't finish them. The ambiance was great, the music was perfect, and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

20/03/2025: Amazing place ! The lads and I stayed for 2 nights and we had a great time. Service people are super nice, great leisure club with a small gym that includes everything you need to get big and not to forget the Croissant they have for breakfast. I’ve been to France a couple of times but no Croissant gave me a feeling like the Whitford ones …. honestly the best croissants I ever had. Shoutout to the chef 👨‍🍳

25/02/2025: Hidden gem. Coffee is amazing and the crispy chicken bap is so delicious. Lovely atmosphere and great location. Tacos and pulled pork melt in your mouth.

This lovely shop went above and beyond to help fulfill a very special birthday request, and I am just in awe and so in love with the results! Amazing amazing amazing 🍰

06/01/2025: Flory baked the cakes for our wedding in September. They were amazing every body commented on how wonderful they tasted. We had a main cake and some smaller samples in different flavours as well as gluten free. They all tasted gorgeous. The presentation of the cakes was beautiful. We were delighted with it all. I would 100% recommend Florys Bakery. Thank you so much Flory for your hard work and help on the day. Your cakes were amazing.

02/02/2025: The wings were a disaster, dry and old and as if they had been reheated 5 times, the Thai shrimps were the cheapest frozen food from Tesco. for main courses we had duck, i.e. red curry with pieces of dry skin from a week ago, and sea food curry was ok. the decor of a cheap bar and the sticky menu. Overall, I wouldn't go back there.

06/03/2025: I don’t think 5 stars is high enough for this coffee shop! I am a serious coffee nerd and am very picky when it comes to where I buy a coffee from and I have to say this place is probably the best coffee I’ve had in Ireland, and trust me I’ve tried hundreds of coffee shops. We came here on the first day of our trip to Wexford and we ordered an iced coffee, a cortado and a cinnamon bun, all so good we had to order seconds. We came back the next day for brunch and I got the trough eggs with bacon and he got the breakfast bap! Both massive portions and so unbelievably tasty and we each got cortados, we ordered a second cortado each because they are truly just that good! The staff are so kind and chatty and always so helpful! They are so sweet! Finally I just want to comment on the interior of the shop, it is beautiful and rustic, and this theme is seen throughout everything including dishes you’re served in and the seating areas! I live in Dublin where there are many amazing coffee shops but I know I will think about this place once I leave!

06/03/2025: I booked this restaurant yesterday for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was the best decision! For starters we got the Nduja flat bread and it was sensational! The pizza dough is so good the crust is fluffy and crispy! For mains we both got a pizza, he got the Nduja with pepperoni and I got the veggie pizza and they were both out of this world! The veggie pizza was amazing! And they’re not shy with toppings! This place is now in my top 3 pizza places in Ireland! I already can’t wait to come back :))
