The best restaurants in Cork city council

27/03/2024: Had several delicious breakfasts here. Delicious coffee, with a variety of choices. I think the Irish breakfast is very tasty here. You feel welcome when you sit down; they don't look away, and you can stay there quietly after you've finished your meal.

20/12/2024: OMG I'm literally after getting so sick . The worst quality food ever!!

15/07/2024: We were hungry, we were loaded, we took a detour to grab a bite to eat, we walked, climbed, sweated, we arrived at 10:45 p.m. at this snack bar that was supposed to close at 1 a.m., it was closed. Correct your hours or better, given the other comments, change jobs.

19/07/2025: Stunning Chinese. The food was really top quality and at a very reasonable price. Service was excellent. Top marks This will definitely be my Chinese go-to from now on.

07/06/2025: No veg at all in spice bag and noodles… spice bag tasted nice tho with nice chips! The noodles were extremely oily and inedible.

26/08/2024: Very delicious. Not too sweet or too salty. Just perfect. Friendly stuff.

11/08/2024: I bought a 6 pack of macarons to bring as a gift home. Even after couple of days and a lot of travel, the quality of the macarons is super nice, they are crispy and have great cream filling. I enjoy that they are not so sweet.

08/07/2025: Would be zero stars if I could. Owners or staff illegally park and dangerously drive on the plaza every day. Nearly knocked down my kid the other day and could not care less. Update: Still doing deliveries by driving over the grass.

29/12/2025: Great pub, sports on TV, dart boards, pool, excellent pint of Murphy and friendly bar staff.

11/12/2025: Top class service from Tara and Rory. I ordered 4 different cocktail mixers for my husbands birthday. Each cocktail came with its own 3 step process on how to make the cocktail, garnishes, beautiful glass dispenser with stand, pourers, measures etc. it was a surprise party and I couldn’t hide the goodies in the fridge so everything came in a cooler box with ice which was great. There wasn’t a drop left at the end of the night. Whiskey sours were a big favourite along with mojito , martini and margarita. Would definitely recommend foxglove for a party. Can’t wait for another excuse to hire them.
