The best restaurants in Dublin

21/01/2025: Lovely restaurant, serving great Chinese food and very friendly and professional staff...highly recommend and would definitely go again!

23/02/2025: Reading through the many fantastic comments about this place , maybe we were unlucky but I wont be going back to find out. First of all the place needs upgrading and smells kind of musty and old when you walk up the stairs. The staff were very nice for the most part and the Albarino and prawn crackers were fantastic but thats where it ended. Actually the Aromatic duck itself was ok but the hoisin sauce was abysmal, gloopy strange smell from it, inedible. Pancakes were cold and rock hard and the spring onion cucumber and carrots were horrendous, totally dry like they had been left out all day under a heat lamp. We literally just ate the duck nothing else.I have never had the experience with this starter in a Chinese restaurant before and I have eaten in many! Pointed this out to the staff but fell on deaf ears. Had jumbo king prawns in ginger and scallions for mains. Awful, prawns were not cooked with the copious amounts of veg it was served with and if they were they were tasteless. Lemon chicken and honey dish was barely ok. The rice was dry and so were the noodles, like they had been left out all day under a heat lamp, again something I have never experienced in a Chinese restaurant. We coukdnt really eat the mains and left most of it behind. Probably the worst chinese meal by far I have ever had and so disappointed because it had come highly recommended and we will definitely not be back.

17/02/2024: We have been coming here for many years since it opened, and it has never disappointed. We had a big party of 9 here recently and they still managed to deliver quality food and efficient friendly service. The highlights were onion bhaji, tandoori prawn, lamb, dhansak, lamb Jalfrezi, and a variety of dal dishes with spinach. One of our said the buttered chicken was the best ever. You can also bring your own wine and they will refrigerate it for you. I would highly recommend Kasturi.

10/02/2024: Always delicious! We return time and time again and are never disappointed. If you're in Lucan you should definitely try.

24/06/2024: Maravilloso restaurante local, italiano. Hemos estado aquí muchas veces, la comida siempre es excelente. El personal es genial. Las mesas están bastante juntas.

20/04/2024: Pizza was terrible, burnt on the bottom and soggy and greasy in the middle the 4 pizza’s we ordered were the same, place is absolutely tiny like eating in the back of a van and to make things worse they charge you for water absolute joke and don’t even get me started about the parking 😡😡😡

04/01/2025: This is my second attempt at writing this review. I don't know what happened the first time but this place is worth attempting to write the review again because all the staff at this establishment are a step above the rest. They are helpful, friendly and professional. From the first day I went to make the booking they couldn't be more helpful. I spoke to Keith and Maria when making the booking and they were so helpful and friendly....but I met other members of staff afterwards which I don't know their names but they were also extremely professional. The apartment was clean, beautifully designed and had everything you would need for your stay there. The staff made us feel at home as soon as we set foot on the premises. It was a home away from home. The meal was absolutely delicious and presented so well. Compliments to the chef but again I don't know his name but it was a gourmet style meal, tasty and mouthwatering 😋 . Later there was live music and the atmosphere was electric and everyone had a wonderful time. The whole place oozed with positive vibes and everyone was enjoying the friendly, lively atmosphere. It's definitely a place I would recommend to anyone and we will be back.

28/10/2024: We just spent four nights at the Bridge Inn in Dungloe and were just so impressed with everything Keith and his amazing team have done to create a dog friendly haven for those travelling with pooches. The studio apartments are extremely modern, beautifully decorated and really comfortable to stay in. And the bar has everything you need for a stay, including pool table, lovely food and amazing love music. The icing on the cake was the genuine friendliness of Keith, Corey and the rest of the staff working at the Bridge Inn who made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. Our Lille doggie Harlow particularly enjoyed free reign in the bar and lounge area. Thanks so much for the hospitality. We will definitely be back and this time hope to being the sun with us 🤩

13/04/2024: Cornelscourt branch Just ordered a Penang Beef Curry.The “beef” clearly wasnt beef and had both a strange texture and smell.Rang Diep they claimed it was beef,which if the case was certainly not safe to eat,was told to send an email as they were busy and no manager available.
