Bowe's

Dublin
02/04/2024: Best pint of Guinness I ever had. It's a really nice little pub, the atmosphere is great, not too loud, and it looks great.
02/04/2024: Real old world feel and good pint at a decent price.

KING'S BIRYANI HOUSE

Dublin
04/04/2024: Amazing food with incredible flavour. We have been several times. The food is delicious and very consistent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We tried the Samosa Chaat, Onion Bhaji, Lamb Sheekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka Biryani and Veg & Paneer Biryani. I would highly recommend Kings Biryani, you will not be disappointed.
29/03/2024: I ordered food from this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Despite requesting spiciness, the biryani and chicken 65 were bland and overcooked, and the prices seemed high for the quality. I advise caution before ordering. It's puzzling how there are so many positive reviews; perhaps there's an incentive for them. Save your money and consider other options.

Spitalfields

Dublin
31/03/2024: Food was great, i really loved the interior of the restaraunt. Overall had a great time, but one thing to note is that our main courses took quite a long time to arrive, and we found quite a lot of the dishes to be quite salty
26/03/2024: First, please make a reservation. Please. You really need one. Second, Declan is one of the most gracious and charming managers I have ever met. Quick with a joke and willing to spend time with his guests, he wins over a table with ease and grace. He handled our reservation expertly and worked with me on some of our requests with no qualms. Third, the concept of a pub with upscale food might seem out of sorts to some. It didn't to me. And it rewards those who are looking for that sort of vibe. The interior is warm and inviting, without being too on-the-nose or too rustic. The music that is piped in is surprisingly retro-contemporary. The staff are knowledgeable, up to the point that our server said, politely, "You shouldn't order any more food." Who does that?!?! The food was almost perfect. Why almost? My cousin's lamb was a bit tough, with a bone-to-meat ratio that seemed off for the price (but, to be fair, we didn't complain because we were having a wonderful time and things happen). My fish was a touch dry, even as the sauce and accompaniments were delightful. Otherwise? Spot on! The starters, the sides, and the other mains were expertly prepared and delivered at a perfect pace. One standout? The oyster and tartar. Yes, you only get one per order. So, you order as many as you need. And, trust me, this is not a dish to be missed. What doesn't sound like it should work is a perfect version of surf-and-turf that I am surprised I haven't seen anywhere else! A delicious bite that leaves people stunned (and the presentation is great too). The deviled eggs are also an example of a well-priced and well-prepared starter, a solid take on an old classic made better by the addition of the brine note from the fish eggs. And then . . . the power went out! What could have been a disaster was instead handled with care. As the desserts came out under candlelight, the end of our night was as good as our start at Spitalfields. The handling of payment is just another reason to recommend this place. No power? No way to process credit cards. Trust me, it was handled wonderfully. Declan, you deserve your restaurant's accolades. Thing is, you don't act as though they are markers to which your guests are subjected (some fine dining restaurants do). Instead, you treat guests as welcomed friends. My group left with smiles on our faces and a sense of gratitude. To the one, when (not if) we return to Dublin, one of our first reservations will be at your restaurant. Thank you.

The Saucy Cow Vegan Food Temple Bar

Dublin
31/03/2024: I like it 👍 But the burger 🍔 had little mustard and vegetables that could give the dish a spicy, rich taste 🌱 On the contrary, wrap🌯 has too much salad 🥬 and not enough vegan meat 🥔 🧑‍🍳 For my part, I would advise adding tomato 🍅 and sauce 🥫 to the dish because it was quite bland 🙌
30/03/2024: Absolutely love this place, great atmosphere and tasty food ☺️ I bring anyone who visits Dublin here as well.

BAR 1661

Dublin
29/03/2024: Highly recommend! Cocktails 10/10 Service 10/10 They make you feel very welcomed on arrival, they gave us a complimentary shot of poitín to start off with. The menu was excellent, good description of each drink along with pictures. The price was reasonable considering you can pay a little more in some places that don’t put half as much effort into each drink or into the customer! Even the toilets were nice! Looking forward to going back here 👌🏼
27/03/2024: Belfast Coffee, Poitin and Oysters! What’s not to love. This could be the best all round bar in Ireland. Great cocktails, spirits & wine selection and beer taps all in a super chilled nice venue - perfect.

Octopussy's Seafood Tapas

Dublin
04/04/2024: The venue is located along the road next to Howth Pier. It was Sunday and it was quite busy... but they served us in a fairly short time. This suburb and town of Dublin is worth a visit. Two splendid seals guarding the port.
04/04/2024: Good quality food at a good price and in the center of town.
