The best restaurants in Dublin

07/10/2025: 3 of us went on sunday to try Robyns sunday dinner. There was 2 people & a small gathering down the back already there. We were met with a waitress showed to a table, which are mainly all high stool tables. 30 mins later, after we had to ask could we give our order the girl took our order including the drinks, long time to be sitting waiting without been asked for drinks. While we sat waiting another 20 odd mins for food. In the time we were sat waiting we had counted 14 people came and had to seat themselves or were left waiting that long they just got up and left. The place was not busy at all at this time so no need for customers to be left waiting so long. The party down the back was not approached once while we were there from staff, as you would be normaly asked if everything was ok, clearing tables etc. The staff definitely need some more hospitality training and maybe keep their hairs tied back while serving the food. Its a shame to see so many walk out as the food was absolutely gorgeous so 10/10, everything was cooked to perfection and the sunday roast is 10/10, only beef option available which is mouth watering but a chicken or ham would be great if it was available

28/09/2025: Very Disappointing to be turned away at the door because they don't like the look of you! Me an my partner wanted to have a late drink and we were refused for no reason I wouldn't mind if we were drunk and falling all over the place like the people that were being served inside that were outside smoking!! Absolute pricks on the door!

24/04/2026: i decided to try the takeaway because the cafe is decent. part of my order was 2 bags of chips. they both were less than 1 single from cinellies . i actually fit a single of chips on a sandwich not cheap either . i wont be ordering again

10/09/2026: Do the manager even bothers to recruit professional staff and with the minimum of modales and kindness? The staff, special the white, blonde and overweight woman is very rude. She doesn’t even reply to anything you request or ask. I understand that they are tired of working all the day but at least she can say “Hi, what can I get for you?”.

08/09/2026: This place was a quick stop while we waited for a bus. The food was not bad and the service was okay. There were some dirty tables as well as the restrooms being dirty.

06/09/2026: I drove here for a midnight McDonald’s as one does, and even though online it is advertising to be open 24 hours it was not. If u want a midnight snack don’t trust the opening hours here. Very disappointing 1 star

04/09/2026: good service. chicken tasted weird whatever they are cooked in wasnt nice it was very greasy. i wasnt sure what the smell was very off putting so i had to bin it chips and sauce was ok. im surprised as its usually a lot better. I wont be going back.

21/08/2026: Waited 40 mins for delivery. Received message that order had been delivered. It had not. No attempt to call at door and delivery person stated that they had tried to call me. They had not. Delivery person stated that they had left order outside door. They had not. Doorbell camera clearly shows that no person attempted to make a delivery. Company stated refund within 5-7 days while taking payment instantly. Abysmal delivery service.

24/05/2026: The worst soft surf ice cream, one completely collapsed because the machine didn't have time to freeze it fully, also it was an odd beige colour. And the amount of sprinkles given was scant. Coconut latte was awful too.

24/07/2026: I came early in the morning and barista didn’t pay any attention, I said good morning and still no attention she was just continuing to do what she was doing, until another next customer came. It is rude service

19/05/2026: Felt very welcomed by the 2 employees who were working hard at serving people and cleaning out the restaurant. Drink was made perfectly and employees were smiling. A 5/5 in my Starbucks book.

31/08/2026: Usually a decent place to grab some food but today’s order was absolutely disgusting. You could break rocks with the chips,stale and tasted days old. The chicken nuggets made the kids feel unwell and the meat isn’t the same as it used to be. Everything but the chilli cheese bites were stomach turning. Most of it went into the bin

22/08/2026: The service provided was considerably unsatisfactory. The notice board indicates that the order is ready; however, the staff merely left the food on the tray, awaiting French fries, without addressing the matter. I had to remind them to dispense the tray, which has been unattended for over three minutes. Although we specified no ice in our order, they served a beverage filled with ice. This caused discomfort to my companion, and I found it necessary to remind the staff to exhibit the courtesy of offering an apology. I could observe many unhappy customers.

17/08/2026: The service was very good, the coffee was great, and the snacks were too.

06/08/2026: Probably the nicest Nero shop in the centre. Lovely chilled area at the rear with nice space and light. The staff here are lovely!!!

25/08/2026: I was craving a banana and snow pizza and only found it on Paulista Avenue. To my delight, the pizza was excellent and I had an incredible experience simply opening the box, with a message written on the lid. It really was like a piece of Brazil on my table; this is my favorite pizza flavor and I hadn't eaten it in almost 2 years, since I arrived in Ireland 🥹

15/08/2026: The pizza took a little bit longer than expected, but it was actually really good. I had never had Brazilian style pizza before, and I ordered the most basic one (Marguerita); even though I think it's expensive (26€ for the small one), the taste and size were pretty good. Overall, I'd totally order again.

08/08/2026: Loved the breakfast sambo, bonus points for the generous serving of ballymaloe relish! Staff were excellent and happy to help, will definitely be back to Jenneys

31/07/2026: I went here for breakfast with my gran, and unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing meals I've had. The food looked very unappetising when it arrived, and the quality didn't improve once we tasted it. My eggs were cold and had a rubbery texture, making them very unpleasant to eat. My gran ordered pancakes, and they were also rubbery with very little flavour. Even the rashers were served cold. We mentioned our concerns to a member of staff, but we didn't feel they were interested in resolving the issue. The only thing they did was reheat the rashers, while the rest of the meal was left as it was. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, especially for a simple breakfast. Sadly, I wouldn't return or recommend it based on this visit...

04/08/2026: €20.60 for a fish meal delivered in Cabra have prices gone up that much

03/08/2026: So disappointing! Ordered a bag of chips and only got a few chips in the corner of the bag! Chicken fillet wrap was tiny and the food took so long to come that it was cold! Will not be buying this ever again. One thing they do well is charge a good price! Expensive rubbish
