20/09/2026: A wonderful Chinese restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was tasty and well prepared. Definitely a great place to enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine in Dublin. highly recommended!

27/05/2026: I ordered an iced mango almond latte that was advertised on the board outside, but the staff didn’t seem to know how to make it. The almond milk tasted like it was off, and the drink was honestly horrible. On top of that, they charged €5.50 for it… definitely not coming back.

06/05/2026: It's a typical chain like other large coffee shops with a star in their name, but great for breakfast or grabbing a salad to go. The coffee is excellent – ​​we had bagels with salmon or an Irish breakfast – we loved it – we'll be back tomorrow ;-)

06/09/2026: Wait 40 minutes for a Big mac, a potato, and a Walterto be ready.

06/09/2026: I drove here for a midnight McDonald’s as one does, and even though online it is advertising to be open 24 hours it was not. If u want a midnight snack don’t trust the opening hours here. Very disappointing 1 star

26/10/2026: I visited this café on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, between approximately 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm, and fell down the stairs leading towards the toilets. I am trying to contact the manager urgently to request preservation of any CCTV footage from that time, but have been unable to find an email address or telephone number. Could the manager please respond with an appropriate contact email address so that I can submit my request directly? Thank you.

23/10/2026: The owner is the nicest person ever! My buss didn’t came and she let me stay in the warm cafe instead of having to stay outside. She is amazing!!! Thank you so much. Btw. that was before it was even open. I can only recommend coming here for a coffee, pastry or tea. 10/10

04/10/2026: Memory: You can get the best gravy fries in Dublin here! My routine was to buy paella at Wrights of Marino and eat gravy fries here, and Tuesdays were a special menu which was a big help.

25/09/2026: Yesterday, I went to your Liffey Street branch with my friends after college, and honestly, it was quite disappointing. The staff were very rude when we asked if we could get fresh chicken instead of the double-fried one. We were simply told, “You can have a refund, we have what we have.” I understand that things can get busy, but the way it was handled was not nice at all. We also ordered the €22 deal. The burgers were very small, and the chicken was extremely oily and lacked flavour. Running a restaurant is not just about social media marketing. Food quality, taste, portion size and, most importantly, customer service matter just as much.

30/08/2026: Domino’s is always a reliable option for me when I want pizza. I usually go for the pepperoni pizza, garlic bread, and some of the sides, and I have always enjoyed the food. The pizza is consistent, tasty, and exactly what I expect from Domino’s. The only thing I would say is that delivery can feel a bit expensive depending on the order, but the food itself is good and the service is usually straightforward. Overall, a solid option when you want easy, familiar pizza that you know you are going to enjoy.

27/09/2026: Stoped for a birthday lunch with few small kids and had a great time, the place was clean and the staff was excellent. It was Mchappy day and the games were so much fun for the kids and the girl doing them was very engaging. The food was tasty

09/07/2026: This pub is being ran into the ground by the SON of the joint/co owner. to many staff behind a small bar falling over each other and even the SON has tripped his father up several times who is in his 80's, he runs around like a headless chicken, always seems to be panicking, after talking to my niece who drank there in the past and her conversations with bar staff and regulars over the years it's believed he the SON may be BI PILOR, staff never stay for long, bar 1 lad Luke, so obviously he's a yes man, he then asks why staff are leaving 2 go 2 a local bar he won't accept the reasons of not only his ignorance towards patrons but staff alike, he won't speak to them in privacy he makes a holy show of them in front of the whole pub, and asks why they are leaving, one former staff member now works in delaneys around the corner well there's actually 2 but this 1 young lad was serving my niece around the whole Covid after covid time and she requested she and her boyfriend have 2 drinks from the same glasses, so the young gent proceeded to pull the pints and the BALD GLASSES WEARING SON actually slapped the drinks from the lads hand, my niece is a manager in booths and told the SON, she requested the drinks in such way and the fact he was out of order and rude and obnoxious and dog ignorant, the young lad gave them there drinks and my niece told him DO NOT LET HIM the SON do that to you or anyone, most of the bad comments on here are all related to the SON who is clearly running the pub into the ground with his rude and panicking ways and shocking attitude, patrons and staff alike say he has a lot of family problems, we'll like all professionals you must leave you're problems at home or at worst the front door, he's a walking heart attack waiting to happen, it's a hard one for TOMMY an absolute gent of a man, a dieing breed sadly to have to say to his son change you're ways or leave, but he has to do something and soon he won't always be around sadly. the son is a failed prison officer didn't last long in the job, and we see why, he's still friends with them all do as they go in for sneaky pints from 10AM Onwards as do some local pi$$ heads needing a curior as we used to call it, how this man has not gotten a slap is beyond belief, staff former and present and likewise patrons can't all be wrong TOMMY AND CO OWNER'S , please sort him out or sack him and get in a real bar manager, not someone who thinks they own the place and is invincible like ROCKY why have a review spot if you the manager/co owners are not going to publish it, seems you're not able f9r constructive criticism

12/05/2026: I’ve been a loyal customer here for over 10 years and the food has always been consistently very good, which is why I’ve kept coming back. That said, the customer service has become a real issue. On multiple occasions when I’ve had to call about incorrect orders, the way I’ve been spoken to has been rude, dismissive, and at times outright aggressive. It’s not acceptable to speak to customers like that, especially when they’re simply trying to resolve a mistake. I don’t expect perfection — errors happen — but I do expect to be treated with basic respect. After so many years of supporting this place, it’s genuinely disappointing to be made feel like a nuisance for raising a valid issue. I’m leaving this review in the hope that it’s taken on board, because the food is great, but the attitude towards customers really needs to improve.

14/10/2026: Good quality with very generous portions, small space, but that's appreciated on a rainy day.

10/10/2026: A very traditional and welcoming place, with excellent food. The fish and chips is very tasty, and the portion of fried cod with potatoes is generous—easily enough for two people. We bought drinks at the market next door, and the experience was great from beginning to end. It's well worth a visit! Oh! They charge 3 euros for the garlic sauce. I thought it was a bit expensive, but they provide bottles of vinegar and salt freely.

17/10/2025: I was informed that Sunday - 12th Oct 2025 was the final service in Mario’s Ranelagh Great place, busy with locals! Nice food, House white wine was fab.

03/10/2025: Very disappointing. We were met by a sullen unfriendly staff member with very limited English and zero customer service skills. Throughout the evening we were served by four different staff members, no continuity of service and yet it took us the best part of 15 minutes to catch someone's attention to get the bill. At no stage were we asked if everything was ok or if we were enjoying our meal. Nobody said goodbye as we left, they were too busy sweeping and mopping the floor (at 9pm!). Food was ok. We thought our pasta portions were quite small, overpriced and I could make better myself. Overall impression was impersonal, take it or leave it service. As long-term residents of Ranelagh, very sad to see Mario's has gone downhill big time.

08/08/2026: Called earlier after calling every other Chinese in blanch to get a shredded beef with sweet chilli sauce. Something that is not on the menu. Dragon in where the only ones to make this dish for me in there exact words we don't have on the menu but we will make it for you. Amazing service. I haven't had this dish since moving out of my home town ten years ago and while eating this it tasted exactly the same as I'd did ten years ago 10 out of 10 cannot fault the taste and can't fault the customer service very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.
