The best restaurants in Dublin

04/05/2026: I have gotten food here a couple of times. Every time that I tried it I either had diarrhea or I was feeling like throwing up. Don't try the food. However, if you do decide to try it, please do so at your own risk.

19/04/2026: We used to love this place but I was very dissapointed with Pad Thai Noodles - awful taste nothing except noodles and tasteless meat.

10/06/2026: In drive thru asked for wrap of the day was toldo tikka wrap . I asked for it. When I moved to pay for I was told that they run out of tikka wraps. I said, I don't mind to get different as long as it's for the price of wrap of the day. Was told :no by quite ride manager Cezary. When I asked why they accepted the order and made me wait in the queue, they had no answer for that other than goodbye and shut the window rudly.

18/05/2026: Would give it zero stars if I could. We went and the bouncers were so rude. They mocked us and then after I called them out, they refused to let us in once we got to the front.. mind you this is after we paid and mind you they wouldn’t give us back the full amount refund. 0/0 .

30/11/2025: The matcha was delicious and I really enjoyed it. There was also a great selection of special Christmas dishes – there really was something for everyone. The hot chocolate was also very tasty, but quite sweet and very chocolatey, so you can't drink too much of it. The atmosphere is cozy, the seating is comfortable, and it's easy to relax. The staff were also very friendly and attentive.

19/05/2026: This coffee was amazing. As soon as I took my first sip, I was thinking of how in the future when I have an industrial coffee machine, I want the coffee beans they make here. I had a Vietnamese Iced coffee and it was stunning. Not too sweet and not too bitter, it was perfect. I also had a plain croissant and it was huge and really soft and flaky. The price was €6.50 for any coffee and a plain croissant. I tried my friends Almond croissant which was also stunning and her Iced Mocha. Would definitely return! Wish I had come on my first day to try one of their many other drinks!

19/05/2026: I think this is the best coffee I’ve had in Dublin. I got the Iced Mocha and my friend got the Iced Vietnamese coffee, both had so much flavour and made us want to buy their own coffee beans! Lots of seating available and friendly staff The pastries were lovely too and tasted fresh. Will definitely be visiting again when I’m back in Dublin :)

16/08/2025: Sadly, I have to add to the bad reviews as there must have been a change of ownership at Daddy's? Or maybe it's lack of basic staff training? Ordered two sit in americanos only to get two watery drinks in take away cups, with badly pulled shots and plenty of coffee grounds in the bottom. I used to work in speciality coffee, so can spot a carelessly made coffee from miles away. The staff were pretty unwelcoming also. I won't be back!

14/07/2025: Sorry to say I have to add to the bad reviews as of late. Daddy’s used to be known for its phenomenal food and in theory the dishes are amazing. However the standard is extremely low now especially for the price you pay. On the last occasion I visited I was heavily pregnant. I got the full fry, and everything on it except the toast was disastrous. The sausage was pale, the pudding was undercooked and lukewarm and flavour was on the turn, mushroom was soggy, egg undercooked, and the bacon was hard. I would be embarrassed as kitchen staff to send that out. As for the service, we were waiting ages to be seated, ages for order to be taken, ages for food to arrive and no follow up for us to order more coffee etc. The place was dead so no excuse and plenty of staff on the floor. I used to work in the food industry and know that bad reviews can be terrible for a place but given the previous high standard I just hope owners will make some changes to get it back to what it was. As for now I won’t be back and it genuinely makes me sad! 2 stars given for the creative menu but otherwise, 1 star from me

23/12/2025: Quite expensive, but the glasses are much more elaborate than those of typical competitors. The waitresses were a bit rude.

17/11/2025: Fast but very unfriendly service particularly from the café manager Emir, who seemed completely disinterested in the job. He was very rude to me in his body language and his tone of voice. The other baristas were extremely friendly but overall, the atmosphere of the place felt tense and claustrophobic. I've been here multiple times in the past but have never had an experience as profound as this. Not worth it coming back here again

12/05/2026: It's a local staple for a reason and it's a good one. They do few things: coffee, breakfast, lunch and they do it well. Staff is nice and welcoming and the ambient is charming.

08/05/2026: Overcharged me, made me return in order to get my money back and were surly about it, to put it mildly. Food was mid, service was bad. I’ll stick to the Lark in future 😂

13/04/2026: The place is falling apart, sofas with big wholes, the staff is friendly but every single time I go is missing some product as blue cheese or cheese sauce, the owners should spend some time going to the place and see how bad is the same of the store, repaint, fix delivery issues and make that place look where you spend above 12 euros in a burger.

13/06/2026: Every time I go, it gets worse. Escalator down is always out of order. The corridors absolutely reek of urine. Screens 1 to 7 and 16 are absolutely filthy and the seats must be older than I am. They're uncomfortable and absolutely ripped to shreds. The newer screens are a lot nicer but unfortunately they're not being cleaned as well as they used to be. The seats are regularly sticky for first screening of the day. Not good. Screens 9 and 15 have been out of order since 2020, absolute insanity. The Café Bar and ice cream stand are permanently closed now. Today I saw a film in screen 6 at 1pm. The first screening of the day in that room. The seats were dirty, the one I booked had an open ketchup packet on it, evidently left over from a screening the day before. Others were also dirty with rubbish on them, such as a lid from a pringles tube. Lights didn't turn off, and I needed to ask a staff member and miss part of the film. Pepsi was unavailable, popcorn was almost inedible as it was so salty. Much salter than it used to be. Seats in the room were creaking which was very distracting. On a positive note, it appears the screen 6 projector was brand new. Very vivid colours and bright, and there was a video before the film saying it was Laser projection by Barco. Hopefully this means other changes are incoming. The unlimited membership is the only reason I continue to go here and it would be a shame to need to cancel if improvements aren't done. Staff are always lovely.
