The best restaurants in Dublin

08/10/2025: Very good food, the menu changes everyday. Prices are alright for the portion you get. I got the morrocon chicken tenders with couscous which was 7 euro and it was so refreshing and nice. The queue was quite long though and many of the seats were taken up

06/10/2025: The overall experience is positive but there is a lot of food and service quality issues here. The food ranges from good to poor and it's like a lotto depending on which chef is working. The catering staff are inexperienced, some of them have no idea how to prepare food so you sometimes get very sloppy serving and inconsistent portion size depending on who is serving you so there is no "standard". The final thing is, and usually it would be fine but considering this is a food business in a university catering to students, it's terrible that they are earning tens of thousands a day from students but yet still charge .30 cent fee for takeout boxes + .50 cent for wooden cutlery with every purchase!

09/09/2025: I wouldn’t leave a bad review but oh my days the pizza is like rock the pepperonis are thick sausages there’s literally tomato skin on the pizza the cheese falling off absolute disgusting

06/09/2025: Borza is my favourite but to say I am disappointed is an understatement this is the second time in the past 4 weeks the food has been bad. Paid €56 for a burnt over cooked pizza , soggy chips and I’ve no words for the smashed onion rings I received. Told the driver had no phone spent 15 mins on a goose chase trying to find him and back and forth on the phone to the shop to figure out where he would be but honestly don’t think il order here again. Very poor service considering it’s almost €60 paid. Not good enough

15/12/2025: Ordered a burrito. Beef barbacoa. What they lack in flavor, they compensate for it with hefty amounts of volume. The flavors are bland. The type of burrito that’s enticing to start, but after 6 bites in, you’re questioning whether it was worth the effort. Not enjoyable.

08/12/2025: Barbacoa bowl was room temperature, beans on the bottom were cold. Not even warm enough to melt the cheese on top. This was takeaway, not delivery so I know it wasn’t riding around on a bike getting cold, it was served this way. Hoping for the best tomorrow.

30/09/2025: Availed of a deal with ticket for play with two course meal beforehand. Staff were excellent and the choice of food very nice

29/09/2025: Great atmosphere, great location, but above all the staff are very friendly, as are the regulars. When my wife was suffering from a migraine while out, the staff kept the store open past closing so she could sit and wait for her medicine to kick in. From that time alone she has made tons of friends at the café both new and regulars, and I thank them for providing such a lovely environment for the local workers in the area. Also, in relation to a more recent 1 star complaint, I'm sorry you felt intimidated by the regulars at the cafe talking loudly. Maybe they were trying to talk over you, as you were being incredibly xenophobic & talking about all the "foreigners committing crimes and stealing jobs," and that's not the kind of person welcome in such a lovely establishment. Food for thought, lady 🤷‍♂️

02/12/2025: Been coming here for 25 years. Sad to say, it's a pale imitation of the magic place it used to be. It's dead and soulless, desperately in need of refurbishment. Same look as when it opened bar a few small changes, mainly at entrance. Staff are disinterested. Don't say this lightly. Was there on a recent Friday evening after cinema and it was dead at 8pm.

27/11/2025: Like the food was stale and pieces of plastic were inside it and there was a rat outside near the counter. U gotta check that out cuz that was acc rank.

17/10/2025: Absolutely disgusting food. Ordered from Uber eats and the fried rice tasted like fish, smelled really gross. The chicken in Szechuan sauce looked like a chicken soup with a lot of garlic. Don’t recommend!!

23/08/2025: Una agradable cafetería con algo de comida disponible, si eso es lo que quieres. Todo lo que queríamos era un buen café, y lo conseguimos, además de algunos lugares para sentarse y usar el wifi. Y entonces estábamos en camino.

18/08/2025: The toasted banana bread is delicious. Staff super friendly. The calm atmosphere inside makes you almost forget you’re in the heart of city centre

31/07/2025: Day old pastry. Deal advertised as any made drink and any pastry ordered a drink and they then stipulated it had to be coffee with no modifications. My mum with severe allergies ordered an oat milk tea to be given the wrong tea and cows milk. Staff were more annoyed at us than apologetic even though they did admit they knew the order was for oat milk. Bad day.

21/11/2025: Christmast special is here🤮 They just put in one fresh fillet another one is old and burnt chicken fillet. ridiculous!

13/11/2025: ordered two box meals. missing chips chicken wings and gravys in both boxes. 50e for 2 chicken burgers and one beans. Is the staff even looking at the orders .did they eat those items themselves. use to order alot from here but never again.

03/10/2025: The best coffee around the area im a big fan of the imbibe beans they use and they get it right every time. Massive shoutout to becca who always has a smile and gets the coffee order for you even before you reach the top of the queue. Excellent barista

18/12/2025: Was just there for drinks. Literally just finished our second drink. Old man came by and interrupted our conservation and asked if we wanted another. Thought about it for a second... not right now. Then says do you mind if i bring someone over here? We're confused. He proceeds to say we were sitting in her regular spot and she's elderly. We ask are you telling us to leave? And he says well you're done...you're taking up three spaces. We didn't arrange the stools. We just finished our drinks, most likely would've ordered another. There were plenty of empty seats at the front. If he would've went about it a different way, all would have been fine. Maybe ask us to move down to accommodate another stool or maybe ask if we mind moving to another seat. But no, we were asked to leave the moment we finished our beer. Never in my life has this happened to me before. You kind of leave in shock, wishing you would have spoken up in the moment. Also, I'm probably one of the few people who actually left a tip and still asked to leave.

12/12/2025: Well, well, well. Let’s just say, cocktails have never been crafted with such care and ease. This place. THIS PLACE. made me feel like a cherished guest, the way loving parents treat their favourite child (and in this case, Conways definitely delivered). I’ve never felt so appreciated and looked after. I felt truly seen, like someone who genuinely matters in Irish society. And I have to mention the lovely waitress with the bangs — she reminded me of my ol’ aunt, the one who always made me feel welcome and valued. The O’Haras beverage? Fantastic. Just one of the many highlights of this wonderful establishment.

11/11/2025: This place has gone to the dogs since it changed ownership. If you are looking for Chinese near Cabra go to Thaido or Pearl River instead.

01/11/2025: Got the 9" Kabo box it didn't disappoint everything was so fresh and the salt and chilli fish bites are delicious I will be back for them. That box fed 3 of us there was some over too

05/11/2025: The atmosphere was pleasant and the service very good. The food left much to be desired; I ordered the duck and it had a strange smell. The portions are small, as it's a tapas restaurant. I've always thought that tipping is optional, both whether you leave it and how much. Our bill already included the €9.50 tip we were supposed to pay. For 4 beers and 4 tapas, it cost €85. You can find better options in Dublin for that price.
