The best restaurants in Dublin

29/01/2025: Don’t be deterred by how it looks. The food out of this place was amazing. Proper cut chips and delicious kebab and burger.

22/01/2025: It's just fish and chips, and a few other bits. Two Asian guys working there, both very friendly and quick wait time. All was nice! Well prepared and not too greasy.

21/02/2025: My daughter and I attempted to eat here after going to the Denis O'Regan Bowie exhibition. Upon entry, we noticed lots of empty tables piled high with dirty plates from previous customers. We walked through to the little counter area to see what was available to eat. We could see some delicious looking options behind the glass but couldn't see a menu or any description of what everything was. We stood waiting while a customer ahead of us was served. There was only one very harried looking member of staff on duty as far as we could tell; which explained the mess in the dining area. Eventually, my daughter and I left because just standing in the space felt stressful. It's a shame because the food looked good but there are so many things needed to fix this café. Starting with adequate staffing and visible menus.

14/02/2025: Nice but limited range of meals. No vegan options. Cashier not polite.

22/03/2025: Extremely disappointing service. I stood at the counter waiting to be served while two staff members cleaned the coffee machine, completely ignoring me. No greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. To make matters worse, the manager then came out and started cleaning the counter behind them, also ignoring me. I felt completely invisible. After waiting for what felt like an unreasonable amount of time, I left and took my business elsewhere. I won't be returning. This cafe clearly doesn't value its deaf customers

15/03/2025: Was in this store today with my 86 year old mother and the air conditioning and door was wide open. Had to keep coats on and staff member wasn’t very understanding

04/03/2025: Average food and service! Nothing special! Found the service very average and not a bit welcoming or friendly! Ordered a cappuccino and was brought tea. When I pointed out that I had ordered a cappuccino, the tea was taken away without any sort of simple apology! Order a club sandwich and just got a very basic toasted sandwich between 2 slices of bread. Expected more! 12 euro for both but there's better elsewhere!

09/08/2024: Gutted to see this has closed. First class coffee and always the best music. Staff were brilliant, friendly, took great care with their work and really knew their coffee. I wish them the best in the future.

18/02/2025: I frequent Lost Lane on Mondays, and I consider it one of the best options for a Monday night out. The drinks are half-price, the bartenders are quick and proactive, and the music is what keeps me coming back whenever I can. The lighting creates an amazing atmosphere, making it a great experience. Although it can get pretty hot due to the large crowd, it’s still a lot of fun. I highly recommend the club, especially for those who enjoy great music and a lively environment!

28/03/2025: Puff everything is delicious, we ordered a menu that came with a pizza, some chicken strips, potatoes and onion rings. Very good attention.

10/03/2025: good quality food. But delivery driver was a bit dodgy. he handed me my food with missing items and when i rang the restaurant in front of him he took out the remainder of the items when restaurant started ringing him directly. with cheeky smile he gave me the missing items.

09/09/2024: Was a regular here they took a dish off the menu and offered to cover it for me (tikka mirchi) so was glad to order… however I don’t know how so little taste can come from so many ingredients. Even the colour is all weird now it doesn’t look natural. Won’t be going back. And it was freezing cold when it arrived

24/08/2024: Have been a frequent BP customer since they first opened in 1997. Their food was the standard at which we held all other takeaway indians. They went through a really inconsistent and mediocre period over the last few years and we stopped ordering nearly as much. Delighted that our last two orders have been as tasty (albeit not as generous) as they used to be. I hope they keep this up, it was such a shame to see someplace falter so much from its original greatness.

23/02/2025: I order for delivery I had to ring them twice as the first time they left me on hold for 10 min second time I rang they picked up straight away I asked for a stuffed crust pizza with sausage instead they gave me no stuffed crust with pepperoni ham and mushroom on my pizza I also got tenders thiking they would be warm and soft but they were quite the opposite cold and hard will not be ordering from here again the only good thing about the service is that the man on the phone told me about a deal which made the food cheaper

15/04/2025: I had a great time no thanks to yourselves , due to the company I was with , seating was hard to come by , and when we got seating it was hard , went up stairs nipples turned to bullets cos of how cold it was thanks

17/03/2025: Had a chicken n bacon wrap, was disappointed,,, only ate half,, did not go down well at all,, felt pretty sick afterwards,,,

12/03/2025: High quality sushi and sashimi. It might be a little more expensive than the boxed sushi in the supermarket, but well worth it IMO.

02/04/2025: There was a very rude female indian staff rejecting us for just adding some chilli flakes. The other staffs would just sprinkle them on top for us, but this lady acted very rudely and said "the pizza is already made". Then she proceeded to sprinkle too much of them as she is pissed.... please grow up.

01/02/2025: I was very well received, my stay was incredible. I can't help but comment on the impeccable service provided by the receptionist Nara, she was very sweet. Always willing to help in any way she could, practical, friendly, quick and always showing great willingness to do whatever was asked. Without a doubt, if it weren't for Nara's tips and help, my stay wouldn't have been so incredible. Thank you Dublin One and thank you Nara.
