The best restaurants in Dublin

04/10/2025: Absolutely beautiful food and great service 👌

12/09/2025: I've eaten in Howard's in Rathgar prior to Covid and Howard's in Churchtowm for Many years. The restaurant in Churchtown offers great food and offers an all day Breakfast which is great Value. The owners Declan and Majella are always on hand. The restaurant offers daily specials and excellent food. Staff are always very pleasant. I would definitely recommend visiting Howard's.

11/11/2025: I went to this café today and ordered a small mocha. While chatting with my colleague, another staff member (different from the one who took my order) called out “your mocha,” so I naturally went up and took it. A few moments later, the person who originally took my order came up to me and started speaking to me quite loudly, accusing me of taking a medium mocha instead. I tried to explain that I just took the drink when their colleague handed it out, but she continued to speak in an unpleasant tone and gave me angry looks — right in front of my colleague and her staff. I found that very unprofessional and unnecessary, especially since the difference was only €1 and it wasn’t even a mocha — it turned out to be a cappuccino. I wasn’t bothered about getting the wrong drink, mistakes happen, but the way the situation was handled and the attitude shown were completely unjustified. A little more courtesy and understanding would have gone a long way

29/07/2025: Costa pulse at ucd have my heart, they have the best staff always there to serve you. I was a student here and everytime i used to enter the cafeteria they remembered my regular order and with a bright smile they served me. Thanks to the entire team for making my time in UCD great. Kudos. The small mocha will be missed.

30/11/2025: Excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. The place is quiet, comfortable, and perfect for studying or getting work done.

15/07/2025: This is the second time that happens, its 18.40 and is closed already when is showing that in fact it should be closing at 19.00. The last time that I will go here. The worst service ever.

13/10/2025: Regular here and they never disappoint. Coffee is always unreal and the workers are lovely, particularly Caoimhe (I'm so sorry if I spelled this wrong 😭😂). Such an angel and always full of smiles 😊

12/10/2025: Good for food, service and atmosphere. Really busy spot but over priced, 17 euro for a burrito and bottle of water.

31/10/2025: Just ordered through Deliveroo (I don't live far from it). It arrived on time, not too late, but both milkshakes were literally melted. Pure water. The waffle was rock hard and insipid. Will never ever try again. Wishing them what they deserve.

26/09/2025: Loads of options including brownie with ice cream and cookie ice cream sandwiches, also does Sundays. Very tasty!

06/11/2025: The crew is very disrispectful!! The night security guard, a skinny security was cursing me all the time, he said a lot of bad word to my mom and my daughter. It was horrible! How a company this big let a monster like that work in there? I will never come back to this place again.

07/10/2025: 3 of us went on sunday to try Robyns sunday dinner. There was 2 people & a small gathering down the back already there. We were met with a waitress showed to a table, which are mainly all high stool tables. 30 mins later, after we had to ask could we give our order the girl took our order including the drinks, long time to be sitting waiting without been asked for drinks. While we sat waiting another 20 odd mins for food. In the time we were sat waiting we had counted 14 people came and had to seat themselves or were left waiting that long they just got up and left. The place was not busy at all at this time so no need for customers to be left waiting so long. The party down the back was not approached once while we were there from staff, as you would be normaly asked if everything was ok, clearing tables etc. The staff definitely need some more hospitality training and maybe keep their hairs tied back while serving the food. Its a shame to see so many walk out as the food was absolutely gorgeous so 10/10, everything was cooked to perfection and the sunday roast is 10/10, only beef option available which is mouth watering but a chicken or ham would be great if it was available

28/09/2025: Very Disappointing to be turned away at the door because they don't like the look of you! Me an my partner wanted to have a late drink and we were refused for no reason I wouldn't mind if we were drunk and falling all over the place like the people that were being served inside that were outside smoking!! Absolute pricks on the door!

11/10/2025: One of the worst experiences I have had, and I didn’t even try their food. We waited just under 20 minutes before someone came to our table, and that was after I had to go up to the host and ask if we could order. Keeping our 5yo entertained was not easy. When we then said that my wife was a coeliac the waitress said everything on their menu had gluten in it. Literally no options for a Coeliac. This made no sense as they had chicken, salads. Their burgers must be terrible, if they have flour in them! We left immediately, and they couldn’t care less. As we left we saw others with food and it looked cheap and nasty. Avoid at all costs

29/09/2025: Food is normally amazing just a few times recently it’s tasted like quite a bit worse when the food is good I’d recommend with flying colours

11/10/2025: The food was disappointing — everything tasted bland and overcooked. The service was slow, even though the place wasn’t busy. Definitely not worth the price.

18/10/2025: One of the best places I’ve ever had pasta at. The quality of the ingredients is top notch. I ordered spicy penne with chicken and it was up to the mark in terms of flavour and sauce. I would recommend a try once for sure cause it should be enough to get you addicted.

08/04/2025: Great atmosphere. Julie mcCabe sings here on Monday nights 7 -10pm and she is absolutely brilliant. Everyone is welcome to sing and Julie gives great support. Always a great night. Spin the wheel is great fun too. 😀

17/05/2025: Los baños de señoras tienen un piso que no se ha limpiado correctamente en años. Los lavabos están sucios, sin jabón. Todo el lugar necesita un buen fregado. No es un buen baño, para los turistas que visitan la ciudad supuestamente justa de Dublín!

03/05/2025: Llegó a las 2. 00 traigo tragos en el bar. Cuando usé a las damas no había rollo de papel higiénico en ninguno de los cubículos y el inodoro estaba guiñado. No parecía limpio. Los muebles del bar en general necesitarían una renovación. La elección de comida era muy limitada.
