11/03/2025: Ordered chips from here last Friday, they were absolutely disgusting, I cannot understand how a chipper can sell bad chips they are the easiest thing in the world to make. Never again barely 10 chips in the bag were edible & very overpriced €4.50 a bag not worth a bit of it.

15/04/2025: This review is for the townhouse. The room is only not for the restaurant. The rooms here at the Lombard seemed to be a mixed bag. My family was broken up into two rooms while 1/2 of the family had an excellent room, great comfortable bedsheets great shower I am the other hand got stuck in a room where water dripped from the ceiling and down the walls whenever someone above me took a shower. The only way to reach anyone in the establishment was to wait until the pub below opened and since we checked out early in the morning, there is no way to contact or talk to anyone about this incident I tried two separate email addresses to reach the Lombard about the water situation and the soap floor, including the electrical hazard for the room considering water came out of the ceiling light just a note saying they will get their technician to look at. It was all the response no compensation for the room nothing. The only benefit here with the townhouse is its close proximity to the college and a few other things otherwise it was a bare basics room.

14/04/2025: Decent pub near Pears station. Proper pitnts, never too busy, serve food.

19/03/2025: Really underwhelmed. Food was mediocre and very overpriced..there was nothing 5 star about our experience...very disappointed.

17/02/2025: Cena temprana en el bar en uno de los mejores hoteles más emblemáticos de Dublín! ¿Qué podría salir mal? Primeras impresiones... un hombre cegándose y cegándose en la puerta giratoria... ¿dónde estaba el portero? No lo vi... bar lleno que estaba bien encontró una mesa pidió cócteles muy mediocres caros con el limón seco vil que está de moda. Menú en bar tan pobre que podría ser Alfie’s a 3 veces el precio. A mi esposo no le dijeron ninguna opción vegetariana solo la pasta infantil y la salsa de tom, pero esperen a que realmente le trajeron el plato infantil de pasta sin guarnición ni queso sin esfuerzo en absoluto.

08/02/2025: One of the worst pubs I've ever frequented. Coffin sized with a pool table dominating the bar that nobody plays. Located beside a sad strip of shops and frequented by aul lads sitting at the bar nursing a Guinness. 0 atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend. Far nicer bars around with a bit of life.

13/04/2025: I came by on three different Sundays to go to the bathroom, drink hot chocolate, have some sweets and go to the food market nearby in Herbert Park. Unfortunately, each time the bathroom lacked soap or toilet paper, so I went to Starbucks on the opposite side of the road which always have fully equipped and clean bathrooms. It's a shame considering Butlers chocolate is magnitudes better, but until the staff can get their bathrooms in order I'll go to Starbucks on Sundays and visit different Butler Cafe shops on other days.

02/02/2025: I've known this place since the 70's. My dad drank there most of his life. Called in recently, other than decor, hasn't changed much tbh. Lovely staff goes without saying but it's well past it's prime.

23/12/2024: Peor pub de la historia, dueño muy paranoico, falta de servicio al cliente, peor pub en Irlanda para el deporte, menat para ser pub dirigido por la familia, no una esperanza, peor familia para dirigir un pub, absolutamente ruina que son, Padre e Hija, pensando allí mejor que otros, miran hacia abajo a los clientes, kip de un pub, todos en la zona dicen lo mismo de ellos, simplemente toman el dinero de los clientes, siguen subiendo los precios, pintas son horribles, vasos desaliñados sucios,

08/09/2024: Picked up a simple take away of two Chicken Kung Po's with fried rice- there was absolutely no resemblance whatsoever to the flavour we expected- in fact it had to be the worst dish I've ever had. Even the prawn crackers were off. I hate to give bad reviews but this dish was so awful I felt it was worth mentioning to the public.

04/09/2024: Very pleasant experience tonight, picked up a spice bag, good size, could have had a little more chicken and slightly less salt but did the job - very friendly staff. Will return

09/04/2025: A real taste of Asia in Dublin. Dishes seasoned just right, very responsive staff. They serve until late, which is nice. Dishes that are more than affordable at 15 euros and very generous.

07/04/2025: Incredibly cramped and didn’t fulfil my reservation. I had booked 3 days prior and the sent me an email to confirm drove from a different county just to be ignored and told the resturant was full even though I had a reservation
