12/10/2024: I had walked past Insomnia last night on the way to the Supervalu and spotted this. Since my hotel stay did not include breakfast, I popped out this morning for coffee and a pastry.
Friendly barista took my order and a few moments later, my order was called out. I spent an hour at Insomnia this morning sitting in the corner with my laptop. Yes, their free wifi worked well with my flat white and chocolate croissant. The coffee was very good and the croissant was also very good.
The space is comfortable with a variety of seating options. A number of work meetings happened while I watched and surfed the Internet.

26/12/2024: I ordered drunken noodles and was given pad thai with tofu instead. I said I received the wrong item and was told they are the same dish. They are not the same dish having eaten it several times and in Thailand. Very disappointed.
08/12/2024: the ordering process was difficult the app didn't work, for the same order that was placed on the website, the app kept saying Product category does not match Product quantity or something equally obscure, therefore was unable to take advantage of your -20% app offer

19/12/2024: A tiny little gem of a restaurant. We're yet to sit down and have a meal, but we've gotten take out a handful of times and the pizzas are just delicious. The owner is a gentleman, and is always full of chat as you're waiting for your food. Have only tried the pizzas, but am excited to try more. Highly recommend

08/12/2024: It was my first time trying this place a while ago, nothing bad to say about the food in fact quite delicious but unfortunately i had an awful encounter with one of your members of staff she mentioned her name is Buhle when i asked she had a disgusting attitude and a negative atmosphere about her, she practically threw a menu at me and then proceeded to roll her eyes at me whilst i was having difficulties trying to put together my order when my food arrived she absolutely slammed my food on the table and never said a word not a friendly person at all and clearly does not have the social ability if this job.

17/12/2024: We spent a lovely afternoon in Toddys Restaurant in the Gresham hotel Dublin. The staff were wonderful. The food was very nice. BUT when it came to giving a TIP the fabulous server informed us they are NOT given any tips which are included in you card payment only if you pay them cash. This is an abuse of their staff. I wonder how many tips are gone to line the pockets of the owners at the cost of some of the lowest paid staff. This is outrageous!!!!! I am so glad we asked the server before we paid the bill.
13/12/2024: I must have walked by Toddy's on my many Trips to Dublin.
This time I decided to go in for lunch.
What a really good restaurant, the food was excellent.
I do have to mention the Apple and Rhubarb crumble it
was amazing.
I had lunch SIX times at Toddys during my visit.

18/12/2024: The best hot chocolate I've ever had, and the best served. The most beautiful chocolate shop I've seen so far. The staff are very friendly and attentive, anyone who says otherwise is because they need to eat more chocolate in their lives. I'm just sorry that there are no Butlers in my country, the city where I live. It stayed in my heart, the days I had in Ireland every day I drank hot chocolate.

12/01/2025: Asistí a la fiesta de Oktoberfest aquí, y no fue impresionante. El evento se incluyó en Eventbrite, pero la configuración de la entrada no tenía mucho sentido. Puedes entrar en cualquier momento y pagar el mismo precio por las bebidas. La fiesta se sentía puramente comercial, con poco que fuera auténticamente alemán. La comida era promedio en el mejor de los casos. Después de cuatro horas, el espectáculo terminó, y se pidió a todos que se fueran al siguiente evento.
Desde su traslado, no he sido fan de The Bernard Shaw.
30/12/2024: No hay suficiente personal detrás de la barra o en el piso o en la cocina. Comida servida tarde, fría y no como se describe. La única ventaja es que la comida sabía bastante bien, si tenía suficiente de ella! El hueco de la escalera a los baños huele asqueroso, los baños están helados y muy deteriorados al igual que partes del propio pub. Algunos empleados también en el lado grosero.
