25/07/2026: Waited an hour just for our food to be given to someone else DONT RECOMMEND

10/06/2026: I absolutely loved this place, the most unique I've ever visited in Dublin! I walked past it several times during my last stay, almost not noticing, but it was a real surprise. Dinner required a reservation at least a day in advance through the website (I'd tried to get in the night before, but it wasn't possible without a reservation), but it was totally worth it. We ordered a fillet steak and half a roast chicken, all accompanied by sides and fries, and everything was delicious! The place also has a unique atmosphere and several truly unique rooms and corners, making dinner here an experience in every way. This will definitely be a restaurant I'll return to!

22/07/2026: Its a takeaway in a small council estate. It's rough and ready. But the food is good and the staff are very nice. Get food from here regularly. Never had an issue.

10/08/2026: It was a lovely experience over there I have been at Zaytoon in Dublin town and it was fabulous, I enjoyed my favourite Shawarma and other delicious dishes as well. The dining atmosphere was exquisite. Highly recommend!

03/06/2026: I’ve visited twice on a work trip and can’t complain. Very clean, very nice staff, low prices and absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything you need to workout. If I ever come back to this area I’ll definitely come here to workout. Love it. Highly recommend.

13/08/2026: Live in Tyrrelstown for over 20 yrs . Been having take aways in this place since they open but I noticed not only the prices has gone up but the portions are getting smaller, 3 pieces of spare ribs for 9euros.

12/06/2026: Excellent, charming place to stay. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Very close to the center and with incredibly friendly staff. I would definitely stay again. I loved it!

27/05/2026: Leaving the place after my first night, paide for two. Very small bed and uncomfortable sleeping conditions where I won't fit into the bed and will have to put my feet against the wall. Old, sagging mattress Hard pillow No hot water in the shower Noise throughout the night Light coming into the room from outside Privacy issue with the peephole lacking a cover highly dissatisfied. Only good thing it was clean

30/01/2026: Absolutely disgusting, I ordered spice bag, there was hard dry drumsticks in it, no proper chicken and nothing else only spice powder, never again , people run away from this take away

25/08/2026: Sat in this chipper yesterday. Service was 10/10. As we ordered our food and sat down one of the chefs was about to sit down for his break I noticed he got back up after he opened his own meal and got us cutlery. Wouldn’t see too many young lads think like that. Food was fresh and delicious. Definitely one of the nicest chippers around 👌

20/08/2026: They didn't have ray. I got fresh cod and chips. Cod was smaller than it should have been but there was an extra scoop of chips. Food was tasty

28/08/2026: My partner is in love with there bread, the vegan cheese cakes are my go too options for ky vegiterian freinds bdays. Great place to get a coffee before going too the 2 playgrounds just up the road.

20/08/2026: Nice bakery to take away. Staff was quick to assist. The almond croissant was superb. Pain au chocolate the same, good quality. Take away coffee maybe it's a bit expensive but good taste.

14/07/2026: Really beautiful place with great food, pricey but not exorbitant, especially for the deli options. I sat in with friends and the staff were preparing for a private event so we felt a bit rushed out and like we were an inconvenience.

23/06/2026: Ordered a pizza and desert and never saw any desert as they forgot about it…Pizza pie dry and thin. Sauce and other ingredients ok but not worth money. Serving water to everyone was nice and place looks decent.

08/09/2026: I was passing through Dún Laoghaire, saw a Wetherspoons and thought coming for dinner would be a great idea. There’s standard pub food, cheap drinks, decent meal deals, and you generally know what you’re getting. I ordered the €19 deal with three plates: cheesy chips, nachos and BBQ chicken. I was sitting at table 66. Not long after ordering, I noticed a server walking around the pub carrying food and asking people at different tables what their table number was. I didn’t think much of it at first. She seemed to be going from table to table trying to work out where the food belonged. I opened the Wetherspoons app, checking my order because it had been a while. 66? Yep. 66. Another five or ten minutes went by and I noticed the same server again, this time carrying what looked like the three plates I’d ordered. “Table 66?” Yes. 66. I wasn’t quite sure what to do because, rather than putting the plates on the table, she started handing them to me. Somewhere in that exchange, the BBQ chicken went everywhere, leaving a considerable amount of BBQ sauce smeared across the table. Her response was, “Oh, you can still eat that.” I said no. Because I really couldn’t. What followed was bizarre. She handed me the remaining plates and left, so I took them and plonked them on the table next to me. A few minutes later she returned with a single napkin to clean up a table covered in BBQ sauce. I asked her to come back with more. After a few attempts, the table was eventually wiped down and sanitised. I then asked whether the chicken was being replaced. She said yes. So I waited. I ordered another Guinness. And then they finally arrived. About 15 minutes later, the replacement chicken finally appeared. She apologised and said “oh, the kitchen didn’t add the BBQ sauce.” I told her directly,”I want the sauce.” Another 20 minutes passed. No sauce. By that point the replacement chicken was cold, I finished my second Guinness, and I didn’t want to deal with this anymore so i gave up and left. I completely understand that Wetherspoons is inexpensive and you get what you pay for. Sure, I wasn’t expecting fine dining. But taking nearly an hour to successfully deliver a meal to a numbered table, then suggesting I could still eat the meal that had just been dropped all over that table, is a bit much. Cheap food is one thing. This was just incredibly poor service.

16/08/2026: Good food. Good staff. The place was clean. Not that busy. You have to pay for parking but it's not that pricey. Toilets in good condition.

16/08/2026: Writing a review to say the current host is wonderful! I didnt get his name initally because he was working so hard but he kept the place spotless and he was constantly working and checking every customer was helped and satisfied. He met my crazy toddler with a smile and made sure the visit was easy. Thomas youre a star!

06/05/2026: I got a Very welcoming atmosphere, coming from the Speaker Connolly. The Staff are very friendly and helpful, the clientele are full of craic , and fun . I didn't have a meal from the menu , but I look forward to visiting again. 5 Stars
