The best restaurants in Dublin

05/05/2026: Had a good stay at the Address Connolly. The hotel itself if beautiful, love the art as you walk to the elevators. It’s in a good location, about 20 minute walk from the Temple area - however it does not always feel very safe walking home late at night. Ubers are quite expensive €20-30 so may want to be nearer the Temple area if this is what you want to do most. Our room had a lovely large bed, the shower was amazing and boiling hot, and there was someone on service at all times. Our negatives from our stay were that our room (565) had a very strong odour of cigarettes, this started on our second night, seemed as if someone nearby was smoking. The train station nearby is also very loud during the day, and you could hear people in the hallways and nearby rooms. We had to wait a long time for any lifts to get to and from our room, at one point we waited 15 minutes before giving up! Some parts of the room looked as if they could have done with a deep clean, but the day cleaners did a good job. Overall we had a good stay, and the hotel was mostly just a place to stay. Would reccomend visiting the Silver Penny - Wetherspoons nearby for a cheap drink, Dublin zoo, yellow jelly for brunch, and the whole Temple bar area.

04/05/2026: We stayed here for one night over the bank holiday and can’t fault our time here, the reception is beautiful and we were greeted by very friendly reception staff, we booked the King Club Room and it did not disappoint! Really spacious and the view was incredible. Cleanliness 10/10 and the added bonus of the club lounge to sit out in the sun was the icing on the cake for us. We will definitely be back!

10/09/2026: Average,prices gone up and choice of menu gone down, shame as it was a great venue ,family friendly, a place one could meet ones friend and enjoy,no atmosphere

13/07/2026: Came for dinner. Kids got the cheese pizza and chicken with fries. I got the seafood chowder for a starter and it was delicious and had nice large chucks of seafood in it. My wife and I shared the butter chicken was great. The sauce they used was really good and our daughter used it to dip her chicken in it because she liked it so much.

02/10/2026: Terrible experience. We waited nearly two hours for our delivery with no update whatsoever. After waiting all that time, we rang the restaurant and were simply told to call their other branch. We called the other branch only to be told that our order had been cancelled. Nobody had contacted us to let us know, and no solution was offered. Nearly two hours waiting just to end up with no food, no notification and no help at all. Really poor service and a complete waste of our time. Would not recommend. An absolute disaster.

12/09/2026: Ordered a pizza and side on September 7th, ended up waiting 1 hour and 40 minutes for a delivery from baldoyle to portmarnock. No apology no credit or discount offered, absolute disgrace.

21/09/2026: Was nice to have this so near us to grab some coffee to go on days when we didn't have time for a full Dublin breakfast. Service was really good. All good linked to expectations.

25/08/2026: Staff kindly let me use the toilet without a purchase. I left them a small tip.

09/09/2026: Got a chicken fried rice curry sauce prawn crackers. The chicken was absolutely vile. Chewey and sweaty. It was disgusting

04/08/2026: Very nice staff only a 10 minutes wait and very nice food

09/10/2026: The food is disgusting, the chicken balls were fried in old oil, the curry is chip shop curry style, the beef was cheap cuts of min steak, the prawn toast again fried in very old oil, the spring rolls are worse than if you buy cheap frozen ones in Tesco. Everything is awful, avoid at all cost.

25/09/2026: Got a takeaway from lams for my daughter's birthday we drove from adamstown in lucan and the spicebag and a separate tray of salt and chilli chicken just smelled & tasted of FISH it was awful, I called up to let them know and the man on the phone replied " what do you want me to do about it" let alone the food disgusting, the customer service was disgraceful and actually really embarrassing that someone like that represents lams by speaking to a customer like that on the phone. Stay clear of this place. Thanks for ruining my daughter's birthday request!! We should have stuck with NewLams!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!

03/09/2026: I wish I could give this place 10 stars for service! Was in here on September 2nd 2026 and the lady who took our order was just the epitome of a professional. Big friendly greeting upon arrival. Explained the chicken coatings etc.. Just immediately made one feel like a valued customer. The Mega box I ordered was out of this world good. The gravy was GORGEOUS!! My friend had the big chicken burger and was very happy with it too. I'll definitely be back because I want to try that burger too.

19/09/2026: Service is awful, woman on the phone is the rudest person you’ll ever come across. Ordered my food and 50 minutes in, after being confirmed, prepared, and out for delivery I got a call saying they have no driver. Was then roared down the phone - DO NOT ORDER

13/09/2026: Used to order from here alot, I won't anymore. Walked in and the guy there totally ignored me because someone behind me wanted to place a bigger order. Clearly couldn't care less about regular customers as long as he got more money. The previous employees were lovely there, I hope they're doing well. Avoid like the plague. Rude, and just want your money, shameful. Go somewhere else.

14/07/2026: Really beautiful place with great food, pricey but not exorbitant, especially for the deli options. I sat in with friends and the staff were preparing for a private event so we felt a bit rushed out and like we were an inconvenience.

23/06/2026: Ordered a pizza and desert and never saw any desert as they forgot about it…Pizza pie dry and thin. Sauce and other ingredients ok but not worth money. Serving water to everyone was nice and place looks decent.

14/10/2026: American themed diner. The staff were super friendly would defo come again

10/10/2026: 25euro for a meal, no straws, cold food, missing items.

30/08/2026: Lovely friendly staff. Sometimes the outside area is in an appalling state, overrun by hooligans dumping their litter everywhere. Not sure who manages those outdoor areas. Is it Supervalu? Poor management and security whoever is responsible. The carpark is not patrolled. Supervalu don't seem to care when I reported an incident in the carpark. Response was " just call the police " !!

13/05/2026: Lovely café. Warm atmosphere and lovely food especially their enormous fresh cream cakes.

14/10/2026: Food arrived 1 hour late (2 hours after I ordered it). Order was wrong, food was cold and they didn’t even cut the pizza. Staff was rude and unapologetic.

06/09/2026: disappointed and very disgusting customer service of this branch and so called pizza as well. i make a call to straight away to manager and try to explain the situation and complain about the pizza that you deliver me a wrong pizza without listen me he just hang up. very very disrespectful

20/03/2026: We were very satisfied. Our room was very quiet and the service team was very friendly. The pool, sauna, and gym were very well maintained. The location is fantastic, and you can reach many places on foot. The airport shuttle stop is only a 4-minute walk away. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again.
