The best restaurants in Dublin

08/08/2026: Update: Ordered a half and half for €7.50. This is what arrived??? It used to come with a bowl of chips and 3 onion rings. Where are the chips??? 16 chips and 3 onion rings for €7.50!!! I'm done with Eddie Rockets now, will NEVER be back. Scabby portion sizes for the price. Original: Better than they don't take upfront payment now but prices are ridiculous. €51 for a small adult burger, a regular adult burger, two cheese fries, a toddler meal and one adult soft drink!!

20/06/2026: Sorry, but not even close to the Clarehall branch, unless things have gone downhill there as well. The Frank’s hot wings were extremely vinegary; we couldn’t finish them as they just weren’t enjoyable. The fries that came with the wings weren’t fresh either, mostly just small broken pieces. We didn’t finish those either. The blue cheese was sour and way worse than it used to be. €40 completely wasted.

14/08/2026: Really cannot fault this place and don’t understand the bad reviews. Seems like there’s some confusion on deliveries but it’s unfair to blame the shop. If you go in, ask, they read back your order, you wait a very short time while it’s cooked to order and then they call out the order again when you accept it. The food is exceptionally great, it’s hot and fresh, and I would get on a plane to come here again!

14/08/2026: Incredible Chinese! Fast, fresh, and fantastically delicious. Great service and very filling and cheap too! Order arrived in around 5 minutes. I haven’t written a review before this but this is how much I recommend this place.

01/08/2026: A lovely little café with friendly and efficient staff. They have power outlets available if you need to charge your phone or work on your laptop. It's small, but cozy and charming. I really liked it. 🤍

30/07/2026: One of the worst coffee shop experiences I've had. The place was dirty, untidy, and didn't look like it was being maintained properly. Ordered an Americano and ham sandwich, the did was good but the coffee was bad, weak, burnt, and not worth the price. Cleanliness and quality should be the basics for any cafe, and this place fell far below expectations. I won't be returning.

13/05/2026: Would never order from this place again. Honestly one of the worst food experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food tasted like pure salt — no flavour, no quality, just salt overloaded on everything. The meat was old, dry, chewy and looked like it had been sitting there for weeks untouched. Completely inedible. Food quality was terrible from start to finish. Definitely not fresh and definitely not worth the money. I genuinely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I won’t recommend it even to my enemy. 1 star is being too much. This place shouldn’t be on market selling this garbage to people. I would rather stay hungry even if they offer to get something free from them.

19/07/2026: Excellent cafe, food is creative and very tasty! I do love their ethos of using their own grown and reared food to serve. Always and interesting menu, beautiful salads mix ❤️ i sometimes find it very noisy/echoes with the open plan though. Maybe some higher screens to seperate sections would help? 🤔

13/06/2026: Service was extremely slow. 20 minutes just to take our order. Overheard the short thin guy being extremely emotional and short, giving out to staff for taking too many food orders at the same time and I counted 19 people in the main part of the restaurant. A couple on the table beside us ordered drinks and then left 30 minutes later because nobody came back to take their food order after being told they could only take drink orders for a while. Nobody said this to us but our lovely waitress got scolded for taking our drink and food order together. From the moment we were seated, it took 55 minutes for our food to arrive and it wasn't anything special - sandwich, salad and kids chicken and chips. The most frustrating part was the wait for our child, one of two kids there and they didn't care that they were waiting a child wait almost an hour for food, usually restaurants send out the kid orders first. Probably won't be back.

15/08/2026: Really disappointing experience. I used to order from Unaltar Pasta Bar regularly, but the service has seriously gone downhill. I ordered garlic mushrooms and received garlic bread instead. On top of that, I’ve been waiting around 40 minutes, and for the last 40 minutes I’ve repeatedly been told it’ll be “5 minutes” — and I’m still hearing the same thing. Mistakes happen, but the complete lack of communication and the poor service are frustrating. Definitely not the experience I used to get here, and I’ll be not ordering from here agian

04/09/2026: Very accessible price points, great quality and daily diversity of meal options. Staff are always very friendly and smiley.

06/08/2026: The last three meals I've gotten from them have been utterly flavourless. Today's "ramen" had two spoonfuls of broth that was barely even visible around the noodle and lacked any richness. I couldn't even finish the last two meals they were so bland.

26/05/2026: Inconsistent and disappointed. It's hit or miss whether Bangkok noodles will be spicy or not. Tonight my husband said they were good, last time they weren't. I ordered Kung Fu noodles based on the description & photo (chicken & veg noodle stirfry), there was loads of chicken but the veg was practically non existent. A tiny amount and miniscule sized veg (maybe 1 piece of mangetout diced into 8-10 pieces along with a dozen miniscule (3mm cubed) pieces of carrot). Won't be ordering it again.

23/08/2026: Disgusting behaviour from the manager here...overcharged me and then when I questioned it I was thrown out. AVOID

22/08/2026: Had the pleasure of talking to some of the staff after their shift on saturday morning. Lovely people and very welcoming. Incredibly friendly gentleman and a cute young lass

13/09/2026: Holy crap! Some of the best soft serve ice cream in a cone that we’ve ever had. It was way different from the United States, this is like way fluffier and creamier. 10 out of 10!

24/08/2026: The older woman working at the sandwich counter may have some difficulty hearing or seeing—I couldn’t quite tell. That might explain her behavior; otherwise, I don’t understand why she was so rude. She didn’t listen to how I wanted my sandwich made and even lectured me on how I should speak. I will never order a sandwich from this place again.

14/05/2026: I had a delivery come to my address and on my road there is 2 of the same number house but one is dublin 3 and one is dublin 5... my son was in the garden playing he has special needs and the delivery driver came to the gate and hands him the food and he comes into his mother and gives it to her... Mother then realises this isnt her immediately rings the company number on the receipt on the meal and the manager who cant barely speak a word of english couldnt understand that we didnt order the food and this was a mistake we asked could they come and get the food and they said yes but no one returned we then got a rude phone call from this manager basically accusing us of not giving back the food we have cameras on our house and this lady is off her trolly next time get the address right... clearly they were going to take the food from us and actually give it to who ever ordered it instead of remaking the order for health and safety reasons

05/05/2026: Delicious food. I've ordered several times now. Never actually ate in the restaurant itself only ordered home delivery. My usual is Yellow Thai curry with rice. My nephew always reminds me to MAKE SURE to order that amazing spice bag of theirs. ☺

24/08/2026: Clean place, got order wrong but very quick to bring it out once notified so overall great experience and friendly staff.

17/07/2026: Would agree with the most recent review. Have seen this spot a few times on my route to work and was keen to try it. It’s a handy spot for staff at the hospital. However, the coffee was on the bitter side and weak and the croissant I ordered tasted a bit stale.

16/07/2026: As a barista myself, I pay close attention to the details. Unfortunately, I found the coffee to be bitter and not up to my expectations. I also noticed that the coffee machines and work area did not, in my opinion, appear as clean and well maintained as I would expect. The service also felt rather rushed and not particularly friendly. Overall, it wasn’t an experience I would recommend.
