31/12/2024: I hate leaving negative reviews for a business that's trying to establish itself, but you must learn from it. Can't help but think whoever is running this place has little to no bar/restaurant experience at all. Visited over the Christmas period with a large group to an absolutely filthy dirty table, chairs and menu. I might add all menus were filthy dirty so it's not a one off & my chair was sticky. The waitress couldn't understand what we were asking for, multiple mistakes were made on drinks and food on every order. No discount on the bill when it was advertised 10% discount (we spent nearly €500) but we didn't push it. I love this place, it was my local for years but new owners must listen to the customers. Also when you pour a Guinness please serve it immediately, you can't leave it sitting for 10 mins before bringing it to the customer. Overall the food wasn't great, the pints were nice, and the atmosphere was good. I'll give it another chance as I want to support local.

26/12/2024: A new establishment presumably under new ownership as well. Service was good. Food could've been better. We ordered a large finger food for 3. We got mislead into getting a large one too when a medium would've sufficed. Wings were pretty poor, goujons were nice and the rest pretty standard. Wasn't much vibe around but that's probably because it's new.

21/10/2024: Lovely chips, staff are great, always busy, allow time for food to be cooked.

06/08/2024: I ordered a delivery . It took hours to be delivered. I have used this service before, simply because I like to support local businesses, it was not the best . I ordered again this evening online for a simple order .. let's just say , never again . After about 3 hours and several calls later , I got a paper bag with dried food , I wouldn't even give it to my dog .

14/11/2024: A disgrace of a restaurant milkshakes Burst all over bags then had to wait another hour for replacement ones but before that there delivery driver stands at my door going nuts blaming the restaurant for the burst milkshakes but then restaurant blames driver for not take care of people's order will never recommend romayos citywest to anyone aboustl disgrace of a service after nearly 68 euro of a order

28/12/2024: absolutely love this place! 😍 not my first time here. the atmosphere is complemented by the staff who speak with a French accent and French speech is everywhere🇫🇷 after visiting this cafe I felt like I was in France!! the food and coffee looks so fancy, my top place in Dublin City 🏙️

20/12/2024: Was in Laduree Wednesday. Had Smoked Salmon Benedictine Eggs. I was served by Tami. Salmon or Eggs must have been off,because since Wednesday I've been unwell. I definitely won't be returning to Laduree.

03/12/2024: Every day, my wife and I go to one of the Costa restaurants. The atmosphere was pleasant today. There were not too many guests who sit for hours over one coffee. I got the coffee this time in paper packaging, although I would have liked to ceramic cup. The quality of coffee and the pleasure of drinking it are very different.

23/11/2024: Unfortunately this was not a pleasant experience. The whole place stank of burnt oil, we waited for 40 minutes for food and when it came it was completely cold. People were waiting 20 minutes for a bloody pastry. Would not recommend.

30/05/2024: Drove all the way over front another county to try here, had been looking so forward to it and the opening time said 12/12:30, we arrived at 3 and it was closed? Searched all over google, no phone number to contact and nobody who worked around the centre seemed to know anything about it, sent a message over Instagram to the hot chix page too and no response, severely disappointed and it would put me off going back again, after driving over an hour I would expect the opening times on google to reflect when the shop is actually open…………

13/12/2024: Absolute kip! Everyone's stoned, rude. Can not put sentence or order correct together. Food was colder then my toes after swim in a sea, AT WINTER! Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

13/12/2024: I ordered 4 pieces meal drive thru, when I opened the package at home I found this in the picture, I don’t think this is ok, nobody wants 4 drumsticks, that’s why people order pieces not individually, this is second time with me, I am sure they do the same thing to other people as well, if I get again I will bring it back to the shop.

03/01/2025: The prices reflect the clientele. If you want very inexpensive beer/ales/cider, well this is the spot for you. Upstairs is nice as you have the seafront view. Staff were very nice in fairness. Colourful spot indeed.

08/01/2025: I was in Dublin for a stopover, and I didn't fancy hotel food, so I searched for a Halal restaurant, Zytoon came up with good reviews and decided to order via deliveroo, guys I wasn't disappointed it was worth every penny, even thought the temperature was in minus figures the food arrived some what warm. 1 - I ordered chicken shish with nan bread. I also had an option to have chicken separately, which was a plus as I enjoyed the bread, which was not soggy with the sauce. Chicken was full of flavours moist and juicy with just enough spices, salad, garlic, and chilli sauces, which were all packed separately, so I enjoyed the food the way I liked. 2 - I also ordered flafal wrap and fries. The flafal was also moist and flavour full. The only negative was that nan bread was soaked in sauce. It would've been better if I had an option to have flafal separate like chicken shish. However, this doesn't take away the service, quality, taste, and appearance of the food. If you are around Dublin Airport and looking for decent and good quality food, then look no further. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would love to go there to experience an ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant.
