The best restaurants in Dublin

10/08/2026: I’ve been into this shop multiple times over the past month, and honestly, it’s ridiculous that the exact same thing keeps happening every time. The blonde girl is clearly working her arse off trying to serve customers and keep everything running, while the dark-haired, emo-looking girl and another member of staff are quite happy sitting at the back together doing absolutely nothing to help. There are often queues of around five customers, and somehow the blonde girl is expected to deal with every single person on her own while the other two are sat at the back chatting. How is that remotely acceptable? She is left running around trying to serve everyone while they completely ignore the situation at the front. In fairness to her, even while under stress she always greets me and others with a smile and with great service so this is in no way a reflection on the blonde girl. What makes it even worse is how obvious the exclusion is. The blonde girl is basically left on her own while the dark-haired girl and the other employee stay together in the corner, making no effort whatsoever to help her. I’ve also seen this happen to another girl working there. I’ve repeatedly seen the same behaviour now which is honestly such as shame as I really enjoy this bakery as the food is fantastic. It’s extremely unprofessional, unfair and honestly just embarrassing to watch.

09/07/2026: Wow soooo many flies ALL over the beautiful cakes and the young girl behind the counter on her phone not a care on the world. Mentioned the flies all over the cake to her she just shrugged her shoulders

31/07/2026: I only get a beef or a chicken curry or chicken balls, noodles so I can't speak on their whole menu. But their Currys are the best. I get Chinese a lot and this is up there with the small few in the area that are lovely. The main thing is I don't get sluggish and bloated after it so it's not full of junk. Love it 👍🏻

25/10/2026: Drivethru order was wrong, had to return to the branch to complete the order. The rest of the order was cold when everyone could eat. Every now and then I appreciate reminders like this that I should be purchasing real food. Avoid if you can.

07/10/2026: Thought it would be place to grab a coffee on a Sunday morning needed to use their bathroom it was filthy and disgusting so if they cant be bothered cleaning why would you risk eating and drinking there

07/09/2026: We arrive to this Burger King way before they were closed. The guy said they were closed even although they are listed to be open much later. On September 7th. Very disappointed walk back to our hotel. Take your money elsewhere

16/04/2026: Ordered curry chips and chicken curry roll, food was simply disgusting, chips must’ve been counted into the tray as it was easily 25% empty and I’ve never seen less curry sauce in an order (not even enough to cover the scantly few chips). The curry was clumpy, far too thick, and completely tasteless. The chicken curry rolls were burnt and chewy.

17/03/2026: Payed €9.50 for a spice bag today, brought it home just to realise the bag is literally half filled, was still left hungry after i ate it. Expensive enough for one spice bag as it is, but the fact it was only half full is kinda taking the piss. I’ll give them 3 stars because the food was nice, and it was St. Patrick’s day so they were probably up to their eyeballs in stress

26/09/2026: i have been coming here regularly, usually every week or two, and i have always had a good experience. i normally come with a friend, who places our usual order, so I am familiar with the dish we like but not with all the specific options on the menu. this time i came by myself and ordered the same dish as usual. when the staff member asked me “plain chicken?”, i said yes, assuming she meant regular chicken without anything spicy or heavily seasoned. she never asked me which type of chicken i wanted, or explained that “plain chicken” referred to a specific preparation. well, i got the food and realised that it was diced chicken rather than the crispy shredded chicken I normally have. i accept that i should have checked the menu and clarified exactly what i wanted, and i was happy to acknowledge that. so, i went back politely and asked whether it would be possible to change it. i apologised for the misunderstanding and even offered to pay extra for the replacement. i wasnr asking for something unreasonable or demanding that they remake it for free. but what really disappointed me was the way i was treated when i tried to resolve the issue. the woman became visibly annoyed and spoke to me in a very rude and dismissive manner. even after i repeatedly apologised and explained that I now understood what “plain chicken” meant, she continued bringing up the fact that the misunderstanding was my fault. i never raised my voice, was never rude or disrespectful, and was simply trying to find a solution. i completely understand that misunderstandings happen and that i could have communicated my order more clearly. however, mistakes happen on both sides, and I don’t think a customer should be made to feel embarrassed or humiliated after politely acknowledging their mistake and trying to resolve it. i am particularly disappointed because I have been a regular customer and have always been polite and respectful to the staff. I hope the management can take this feedback on board, because the food itself was not the main issue for me.

21/10/2026: Had a wonderful experience at diceys resturant. The amibience was beautiful nd the food was delicious. The overall experience was amazing. Definetly worth vising ✨

18/10/2026: Bought tickets online was dressed well and being polite but forgot my id as I was 27 didn't think it would be an issue was told I wouldn't be allowed inside I said I'll go home and get my id after returning was told that I wouldn't be allowed in all because the first time I didn't have ID and not to try again that night if I had done something wrong id understand or been rude but I wasn't and in the end I ended losing money since I bought the ticket online very bad experience will never return

23/09/2026: Busy and popular café — deservedly so, because the quality is great and staff are very helpful. Indoor and outdoor seating, which is great.

21/09/2026: Really friendly staff and very local oriented cafe. Always a pleasure coming in and they remember my order so it makes it that little bit special. 5/5 would recommend to anyone in the area

10/09/2026: Usually a decent place to grab some food but today’s order was absolutely disgusting. You could break rocks with the chips,stale and tasted days old. The chicken nuggets made the kids feel unwell and the meat isn’t the same as it used to be. Everything but the chilli cheese bites were stomach turning. Most of it went into the bin

08/09/2026: After reading the comments, I was unsure if we're talking about the same store. I was there today around 11:00 AM with my wife and 4-month-old son. We received excellent service at the counter from the employee called Farth, very friendly, attentive and empathetic, allowed us to choose the BK Kids toy and offered excellent customer service and a great genuine conversation. The snack was ready quickly and was very well-served; it was delicious, and the fries were a generous portion. 🤩
