The best restaurants in Dublin

16/02/2025: Hi all! I want to leave this review that is concerning. Overall terrible service! I wanted to order for the first time from this place two different pizzas at 9'. One Hawaiian and one custom made with chicken. They are both priced at around €11 € 11,50 each plus a coke at 500g , let's say around 27€ all of them? I ended up in the end being charged €40 and after doing the math in my mind I have told the cashier girl that I might have been overcharged. After looking in the till, she apologised explaining that the system instead of puting the onions out from my order, cause I didn't wanted them, it ended up adding to the order. God knows how many or what was added up to the custom made Chicken pizza, but shouldn't be more than 15€. So from the €40 paid, I have received 7€ cash back. Let's see ok, fine, was a mistake. But, after taking my order and going home, I have had another surprise. My pizzas didn't looked of any sorts of what I have ordered. Hwaiayan pizza should have had pineapple in it, cause that what it says also on the menu board. Isn't it. Hat what I wanted to have. And my custom Chicken pizza didn't had any chicen at all. Instead it had sosages. From where, I don't know. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is a ridiculous service and I wouldn't recommend to anyone this place. Or at least be very very careful with your orders. You might be surprised what you recieve back. I might try to order again, just as a test to see if I receive what I am ordering. If not, I would definitely avoid this place! I have attached a photo as a proof and example. Both pizzas combined to have a glimpse of both what I have received.

29/01/2025: I gave Roma a bad review, but I tried it again, and again, you get the picture. Anyway, the incident I had was definitely a one off. Each time since then I have got a top class takeaway, chips perfectly cooked and plenty of them. The fish is superb, big lump of fish, cooked perfectly, and beautifully cooked crispy batter. Excellent.

09/09/2024: Definitely not open at 7:30 as suggested on Google. Doubt it’s even open by 8:00. Disappointing that they can’t open when advertised.

14/04/2025: Pretty good pizza, friendly and fast service. Eating in is not something you should do here for the nice and quiet setting, but it’s mainly take-away so that’s to be expected.

28/02/2025: I originally ordered food from Roberto's in the last 2 years. Food was lovely. However last 2 times I called they said they don't deliver to where I live anymore. I live no more than ten minutes away from Belmayne. I was so terribly disappointed by the response I got and how abrupt it was.

15/09/2024: Burger was exceptional. Chips were unfortunately a bit soggy. Burger good enough to earn 5 stars despite the chips.

13/09/2024: Got the double cheese burger, both pattys were overcooked and tough to chew. The chunky chips were awful and the "homeslaw" coleslaw was disgusting and a little tiny bowl of it was €6 which is simply just thievery. Would recommend everyone to avoid this place completley, just not up to standard at all. If you want a burger go around the corner to Five Guys, even McDonald's would be better .

15/03/2025: En Dublín por unas noches para un concierto. Fuimos a casa de Peter para una comida para llevar. Sin duda la mejor comida chipper que hemos probado en mucho tiempo. Tenía pescado con papas fritas, excepcional y tan fresco. Mi esposo comió kebab donner y dijo que era el mejor que había probado. Todo era tan fresco y el personal era tan amable. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar.

21/01/2025: Was very meh, the actual time on the bike was fun to play music etc but you don’t see much of the city and they only take you around the block. Stopping off at a few questionable divey looking pubs for shots that tasted like fruit juice. And they didn’t drop you outside the temple bar as advertised on the website. They drop you about a 12 minute walk away. Didn’t meet us at the pub specified as the meeting place either, we had to walk down the road and find them ourselves. Wouldn’t recommend it

29/03/2025: Toasted sandwich was tasteless and bread was like cardboard. Floor filthy. Staff member served me only when completely finished her chat with other staff member. Would not recommend this place.

18/03/2025: I have been coming to this place for over a year now, food is always tasty and fresh great atmosphere. Always clean and free parking. Highly recommended!

11/04/2025: Its a Mus to avoid the graves. So shop here

29/03/2025: By far the rudest staff in any shop I have ever been to. Not one employee knows the meaning of customer service or even basic manners for that matter.

25/01/2025: Strong 4 good taste of shawarma with chicken.

03/03/2025: The barista serving was rude and dismissive. Most tables were dirty.

09/02/2025: Staff were pleasant. Several tables were dirty for a long time. Crumbs all over the seats. Toasted Sandwich selection is limited.

23/02/2025: The coffee is great, however they no longer serve coffee in porcelain cups... Can't really claim you like coffee if you don't have coffee cups! Oh and also, the environment!

06/02/2025: I have to compliment Gabi and her colleague who made a delicious caramel coffee, both very friendly, very clean, good place to talk business.

14/04/2025: Just had a coffee but lovely little spot if in the area for popping in for bite to eat and drinks!!

08/03/2025: Food is ok. Service is a real ‘we’re doing you a favour’ style. No table service for coffee. Perhaps there is for food. Place could use a good clean. Not exactly customer focussed.

16/09/2024: Went on a Saturday night and it was closed. No signs, so don’t know if it’s permanent.

01/03/2025: My wife and I had a fabulous meal last night in the Guineas Pig .I had the chowder and the duck and my wife had the french onion soup and ribeye steak.Absolutely gorgeous. Kevin who told us he has been working there 27 years was excellent.Very attentive and extremely friendly. Jerome the handsome French chef/owner was a pleasure to meet and knows his stuff. Our first visit but not our last Thank you lads

10/03/2025: Going through self scan today at 2.45, the girl could not have been more helpful. It's rare you see somebody only to happy to help.
