21/10/2024: Had high hopes of this place. My 2 mates and I booked this residence months ago for the Ireland All Blacks test match weekend. For today to email and say your booking can no longer be honored. Therefore your booking is now cancelled. Terrible customer service. Would never book or recommend this place to anybody. Cheers Noel

01/12/2024: Food was cold and had to be heated after waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes after we ordered...terrible delivery service..we didn't enjoy the food at all..spice kicked in because we heated it up..not a great service at all

24/12/2024: I ordered a chicken green pepper black bean sauce to get shit the black bean sauce was jelly texture it's in the name BLACK BEAN SAUCE NOT JELLY I almost got sick eating it

11/01/2025: I left my review already but after ordering nearly 40 times with Thindi in Northen cross,no good customer service.only thing that food is very tasty otherwise I won't order from Thindi.no value for regular customer.Thindi app is one more difficult task to get loyaty points each time to ask for 7th order discount. 01/01/2025: This is terrible service I ordered at 1:45 and they keep updating on just eat that it will be delayed and won’t arrive till 3:30 this is ridiculous

11/11/2024: Nipped in quickly for a drink and a choc chip cookie. Their service was really quick, so quick in fact that before I had even put my choc chip cookie away in my bag, my drink was ready. There were friendly ladies at the counter. The place was clean and tidy too.

10/10/2024: I am (was, now) a regular customer of Starbucks. Really needed the toilet but was refused due to their customer only policy. I can understand why they need to do it but I was by myself and didn't exactly look like I was going to cause trouble or leave the place filthy. A little mercy goes a long way! I'll never purchase anything from them again.

03/11/2024: Portion of chops half-cooked. Seems to be usual level of cooking there. No competition in the area.

02/11/2024: Food absolutely terrible, quality of food very bad 👎 food served cold well below temperature should never be served to people guaranteed to get food poisoning. I personally went to Ferraris takeaway to collect my food can't blame delivery guys for this one, I went back with the food manager didn't know what temperature food should be served all she could say we are busy, please don't use this as a excuse for serving cold food. I will be going further with this. Jacinta.

22/09/2024: I've had no problems until a lot of it has changed cause this place cannot be found on just eat and when you go through the link it's closed aparently they have an app now but that can't be found amd honestly you do be waiting quite a while to get through to them on the phone but in person service is absolutely fantastic but I really hope they get the these problems fixed soon

01/12/2024: My partner and I regularly visit The Burger Project to enjoy their delicious burgers and pizzas. The food and service are usually excellent, but unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience with a female staff member this evening. We placed an order for a burger and were informed by her that we would be notified when it was ready. Typically, they provide a device that alerts customers when their order is ready, but on this occasion, we were not given one. We proceeded to sit down at a table area, where there is always some music on. After a while, this lady approached us and rather abruptly shouted that she had called out our number three times and left before we could say anything. My partner went to the counter to collect our order and attempted to explain that the music was quite loud, making it difficult for us to hear her calls. However, she turned her back to him and disregarded his explanation. After finishing our meal, I approached the counter to inquire about her name, but she declined to provide it, citing that she was not permitted to do so. I expressed my dissatisfaction with her behaviour and emphasized that her treatment of us was impolite and unacceptable. Considering that she was the sole female employee working that evening, I believe it should not be challenging to identify her and address the issue of appropriate customer service with her.

29/10/2024: Brilliant, the little thing that buzzes when your food is ready is so clever. The cheese and bacon chips were delicious, and only €5.90. I recommend it.

20/10/2024: Always a tasty Chinese, but I never get the curry sauce so don't quote me

10/10/2024: Called to let restaurant know that the spicebags were going downhill a bit. Far too much onion, literally only 2 tiny pieces of green pepper & no spicebag flavour, just onion flavour. The lovely girl on the phone asked chefs about it, and I heard them all start screaming at her in Chinese. I felt so bad for her. They sounded so angry, it was frightening. I don't think I'll order from here again. I understand that spicebags aren't actually Chinese and the chefs may have seen it as unnecessary or silly but they screamed at that poor girl who did the phones. All because THEY let their standards slip.

03/01/2025: Top tier Spicebag being my go to takeaway. massive portions, good crispy chicken, very good flavour but maybe not spicy enough for some, decent curry and sweet and sour sauce as-well. Would definitely recommend.

31/10/2024: Got two noodle boxes, one with sweet and sour (bit spicy) and the other with curry. Both were delicious, the chicken was great, and the portion sizes were generous 👌 Good gear, go get it 💯

15/12/2024: Soggy chips and cold food, but worst of all the delivery driver was incredibly rude throwing the order in the door and saying "surely there's a closer Chinese you can order from". Delivery charge was 3.20 and its 8km away. Stay away from this place!

22/03/2024: This cafe used to be a regular stop for me for coffee and/or food. Since Covid, I've been an infrequent visitor. What a change. And not for the good. Yes, the coffee is good. And possibly anything else that doesn't require the input of a cook. My scrambled eggs were a travesty on a plate. Basic cooking techniques absent. The eggs were not whisked properly and so seriously overcooked (burnt edges) The staff are friendly, and keen to help. But when a server coughs frequently without any attempt to cover their mouth it begs the question what training, if any, these people have been given? This does not bode well for Idlewilde. I hope positive changes are made.

05/01/2025: The service is absolutely terrible here. They were so unbelievably rude me, they were trying to convince me that I was someone else and just completely ignored the fact that they gave my order to someone else. They tried to gaslight me despite me showing my order confirmation and them calling the other person. They then admitted their mistake but tried to get me to pay... again after I had already payed! They tried to justify it by saying that I had payed for the other persons food? They obviously had to redo my food and I ended up having to wait for 30 minutes after I had originally scheduled the collection for. Didn't even get a single apology. The pizza was fine.

18/11/2024: Went in for a bag of chips, told the staff member that they were cold they grumble together in Italian and after about 10 minutes new bag of chips , well that’s what I taught when I got half way up the road picked at the chips only to discover they were after putting them in the microwave, and handing them back out to me , OMG a chipper that can’t give out a fresh bag of chips has a serious problem would make you wonder what else is going on in the back ground if they can’t supply a bag of chips won’t be step back into there again, ps Chios went straight into the bin
