01/09/2025: Very bad swimming in grease not nice

30/08/2025: Incredibile how a portion of chips is now 4.50eur. in there, they never give you a receipt and they also cheap out on the size of a single portion. I was literally able to count the chips in the bag.

28/09/2025: I ordered beef with mushroom and oyster sauce and it looked nothing like any beef with oyster sauce I ever had in my life. It was actually not edible, it smelled awful, and it was super pale. I am so disappointed. I typically never leave reviews, and the people who work there seem nice but the food is absolutely dreadful. I don’t know if I could eat this even in an apocalypse.

16/09/2025: Chips were decent, typical chipper chips you would get in any chipper in Ireland however, the donor kebab was horrible. The kebab meat taste cheap and it has no texture. It just turns to mush in your mouth. The bread is not even the typical kebab wrap chippers usually use. Its literally like normal bread that breaks into pieces when wet. Will not be ordering from here again.

29/08/2025: Food was hot and delicious, we tried the pizza and it was yummy . Thank you .

16/09/2025: Ordered at 7:45pm. Then it said it was delivered at 8:30pm.(it never was). Rang the restaurant and informed them of this and was told they're super busy so it'll be another 20mins max. After 30mins I rang back the 2nd time now and was told the driver is 5mins out. 10mins later I rang back again and said where my food is. The guy on the phone told me the driver is 5mins away yet again. Time is now 10:10pm. And I rang back for the final time. Then a new guy answered the phone and said that they "forgot" to make my whole order!!!???? Why lie the first few times. And why NOT MAKE THE ORDER AFTER THE FIRST CALL!!???? Never gonna try this place again. The final guy made my order and I got it within 25mins but with the WRONG toppings. Ordered jalapenos and got PICKLE SLICES!?? Who puts pickles on a pizza!!??. Overall was lied to multiple times by multiple people only to be told that my order was never made in the first place. Wanted to try something new for a change,what a let down.

09/08/2025: Waiting for our delivery, not received yet but status is delivered. No one answers the phone even though tried a number of times. Seeing other reviews now and this seems to be a frequent issue

31/07/2025: Worst dining experience of my life. I ordered udon noodles with prawns and teriyaki sauce, and what I got was honestly the worst udon I’ve ever had. It felt more like teriyaki with a side of udon than the other way around. The dish was made with zero care or attention, completely lacking in love or effort. Extremely disappointing. Save your money and stay away from this shop!!! 🤯

07/09/2025: The initial professional welcome by the chap on duty was my highlight, thereafter it was interesting as this dinky and oh so trendy eaterie beyond the ladies 'leisure shoes' section positively leaked customers. No 'Front of House' staff stationed at the entrance, with, it seems, only two staff seemed manning the fort, a third on barista duty. We watched bemused as ignored and impatient ladies walked away while the priority seemed to be to clear tables. Ok, to the food: elegantly presented maple bacon croissant for me and a chorizo hash were tasty brunch items with decent herbal teas and coffees. Two poached eggs with each were cooked perfectly and the croissant was good for the 'mopping-up'. There's a good buzz in and around this place so maybe BTs has finally got a good café formula. Tweaks will come and the hard-working staff will hopefully get some leadership..

01/08/2025: Kinda Terrible... Order: Chorizo Hash (€17.50), Chicken Wrap (€15.50), 2 × Americano (€8.40). Total: €41.40. for a below average brunch. The chorizo hash was mishandled twice. First plate arrived with hard-cooked eggs; when I queried it, the response was awkward with the waiter, another staff member rescued the situation from afar. The second plate swung the other way: the egg whites were undercooked and runny, you know like snotty egg white (gag) and the dish was over-sauced and oily. The chicken wrap and coffees were fine, and the room is pleasant, but at these prices I expect consistency and properly poached eggs. Service was willing; execution wasn’t. Bottom line: disappointing overall — we won’t be back. I'd suggest, don't waste your time / money here.

29/09/2025: The breakfast is good, but the lunch menu is terrible and the same thing every day: pasta, pizza, sandwiches. They look good, but the taste is hard to describe... Why can't there be a proper restaurant on campus? Is it difficult to offer different dishes every day or a semi-buffet restaurant?

05/09/2025: The food is very bad! The problem with Gather&Gather is that we make beautifully looking food, but unfortunately it tastes bad. Also, why don't we have normal food menus like all the other universities? TCD has different lunch menus everyday with at least four options including chicken curry, grilled beef, fish and chips...lots of options and true lunch food!

19/09/2025: Food is nice but way over priced. €7 for a small tray of curry chips that had a drizzle of sauce ? €7.50 for 5 chicken balls. I won't be ordering again.

18/09/2025: It was alright, I only got the wrappos and they were actually good but the prawn crackers were beyond stale, tasted like rubber and we weren't allowed to bring our own drinks in. There was also vey minimal seating here

07/07/2025: In fairness I haven’t eaten in Andrews since Covid began. I checked the menu tonight to discover that for example Malaysian curry but no description of what’s in the curry. Just extras ie Boiled rice or fried rice. Yes you can pick your protein or veg but what else s as re they putting in. Also how hot is the curry

16/09/2025: I have a complaint about this place: every time I buy my favorite coffee, it doesn't taste good. They are stingy with the caramel, or on one occasion they gave me one that wasn't what I ordered. Also, the coffee isn't so cheap that they don't put love into it... I hope it improves.

28/06/2025: A meagerly stocked franchise. The cappuccino I had was watery and unpleasant. A cappuccino should be a light and frothy morning drink, not a scalding hot insipid latte.

27/07/2025: Ordered from Mizzoni’s several times, always hit or miss. Today was especially poor. long wait, had to walk to meet the driver, and the food was cold. Pizza wasn’t even fully cut. Overall, really bad service.

17/03/2025: I placed an order via just eat, the food arrived 40 minutes late, missing and incorrect food items and absolutely freezing cold and when I called the restaurant they hung up on me both times. Avoid

23/05/2025: You dont see much of Dublin and after a while it gets boring. Not in Temple Bar at all. There are better ways to spend an evening, disappointed. Go bowling instead.

11/05/2025: I do not recommend booking this. I was on a stag do the weekend just gone and arranged the pedal bike tour for 9 people costing €270. The reviews and the website describes the tour as lively, you get a tour of Dublin, the leader gives good banter, stories and the pubs you stop off at are excellent. 4 pubs in total and the last one is great. Here’s the reality - you meet at the Lombard before you begin which is a great pub. Then you stop off at 2 pubs - both overpriced, terrible pubs before returning to the Lombard! The leader says hardly anything during the tour, you see nothing of Dublin and the bikes have definitely seen better days. It’s a complete rip off for €270 and I recommend not doing this!

07/06/2025: I grabbed lunch from this small but functional Subway kiosk inside the petrol station. Service was simple and fast. I would go again.

07/06/2025: Worst subway I've had in 20 years. The ham served here was not fresh at all, borderline out of date. Oily and tasted really bad. The counter was not clean at all and plenty of ingredients were all spilled on top of each other. I think the managers need to improve the hygiene standards.

29/08/2025: We ordered off of just eat, very over priced and ths food did not match up to the descriptions given. Tenders were cold and soggy with little to no seasoning, told we would recieve crinkle cut fries but instead recieved oven chips i could have made myself for €1.50 Was very suspicious when i called the fast food restaraunt i was informed that i was talking to someone who was working in eddie rockets which leads me to believe this place is most likely a 'dark kitchen' probably using leftovers. Save your money and dont buy this absolute muck.
