28/07/2024: Ordered kebab, it smelled like hot garbage (i swear this is not an exaggeration) and the food was SOOO bland i doubt there was even salt. 2 bites then garbage where it belongs.

22/07/2024: Very poor taco fries here recently. I arrived to collect my order and they had not noticed it on the system. They asked me to wait 5 minutes which I did. At the same time some customers ordered taco fries. When I got the order home the portion of taco fries was laughable for over 10 euro. Very few fries and pretty much just covered in sauce. Would not recommend here. Very bad experience

05/03/2025: Have lost track of how many years my family have been using the BQ house. Every family event such as birthdays etc we’d order from here. Never disappointed, portion sizes are always perfect, good quality, arrives on time, hot and ready to eat. Only downside is that it’s cash only but that’s easily forgiven by the taste.

17/03/2025: We ordered a spice bag, chicken balls, and fried rice. To be honest — everything was absolutely delicious! As locals, we used to order from another Chinese takeaway, but this one is even better. The lady at the counter is lovely and really makes an effort to communicate. Highly recommend.

26/03/2025: DO NOT visit this place!!! Filthy place. In all meaning - tables, floor, desk. Bins are full. No napkins, no trays. Staff without gloves. Manager walks around the kitchen in street clothes. Served barely warm espresso.

10/03/2025: It is very small and almost always dirty. I don't like to eat there I prefer to order take away.

26/06/2024: Omg rang to order some food was Told I was black listed seemingly I complained about 2 years ago app. about curry sauce was talking 2 a girl very rude rang back again got a man also very rude so I went down to see what was going on again Very rude no manager around they would not give me manager phone number so I could make a complaint Was told 2 go to another Chinese take away way out of order Hopefully the manager will get in touch and get back to me when he reads this comment

05/10/2024: The lads are always upbeat, friendly and helpful. They cope well when there is a rush, the service is always friendly from my 100s of visits. The food is better than what to be expected for a very good value place. Copious, endless amounts soya etc for coffees

07/01/2025: The WORST McDonalds I’ve been to! Took 45 mins to get my order when my friend placed the same order 10 mins after me and got it within 10 mins. I brought it up with a member of staff and she said it would be 5 mins. 15 mins later, still no food, spoke to the manager and she said it was on their screen, so it would be made eventually. She didn’t even prioritise it. It seems their system randomly prioritises the orders instead of doing it by time placed. Not only is that bad, but the manager basically told me to suck it up after waiting 45 mins. Nearly missed my bus as a result. Will never be coming back.

05/01/2025: Mc Donald’s is pretty average food, but this particular restaurant is consistently sub par, even by their low standards. Mistakes are persistent - on one recent visit they made 3 different mistakes to a single order. Virtually every time we receive food at this particular Mc Donalds the food is cold, same again today. I’m not expecting gourmet food, but a bit of temperature in our food isn’t too much to ask.

19/03/2025: This was probably the worse Mega Box I have got in Ireland in the last 10 years. There was a handful of chips and around 5 bits of chicken for €20. More sauce then food. I would not recommend going near this place

15/02/2025: Honestly best beef curry by far in a long time. Abouslately beautiful, I worked in Chinese for 25 years in Derry & this reminded me off our towns favourite Chinese. Thankyou

02/03/2025: I ordered via their website, rather than JustEat. On their website you input your address and it will tell you if they deliver to you. I put in my address and it said they DO deliver to my address. 2 hrs later after no food arriving I phoned the restaurant and they told me they don’t deliver to my area. I explained their website said they do, and it confirmed my order and took my money. the extremely unhelpful worker told me i’d have to contact OrderYoYo to get my money back. I argued it is their website so they should refund me but she wasn’t having any of that, told me essentially not her problem and I had to get on the third party who manage their website. Not even so much as an apology! Absolutely shocking service.

11/02/2025: Staff were ok but I think under new ownership as I seen a woman dictate to the staff and instruct them how to take sandwiches out of the oven with lifter and drops The sandwiches 🤦🏻‍♂️ it did go in bin and new one made but took 15 mins for my sandwich and there was no Que won’t go back here again, if it was the owners I seen they would put you off

02/11/2024: The staff were lovely and the sandwich was great but €11.90 for a “salad” (an egg, some leaves and some salad vege). I just wanted some vegetables to have with my sandwich. I’m just annoyed it cost so much for what it was. A bit ridiculous..

18/03/2025: Horrible experience, ordered 40 euro worth of pizza which never arrived. Tried to call restaurant and was on hold for 15 minutes with no answer. App says delivered when no call or doorbell rang. Would not order from this store again

17/03/2025: Ordered 7 inch make your own pizza on uber eats for 16 EURO when the pizza came THE THING WAS TINY ONLY 4 MEASLY SLICES AND THE SIZE OF A SMALL PLATE never ordering here again this is an absolute scam
