The best restaurants in Dublin

16/11/2025: Ordered chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were the smallest I’ve ever seen, and the fries were cooked fresh, but no good. Overall, not worth the high price.

09/11/2025: Way too expensive for the portion size. Maybe an expensive, upscale restaurant can get away with that. But not a diner that only sells regular burgers. €14 for a Double Smash Burger without a drink or fries, which is comparable in size to a Double Cheeseburger from McDonald's. To be fair, the burgers here are really good – but that's where the positives end. You can get the fries anywhere. There's nothing special about them to justify the price. The boneless wings are a joke. The server tried to talk to us as little as possible and just mumbled quietly to herself. We really had high hopes because of the nice atmosphere, but it was a complete flop. This is the first time I've agreed 100% with all the other reviews.

26/10/2025: Food was nice sub and cookies. This store is very small tho so can be hard to get a seat. Staff change regularly will definitely go again

30/07/2025: I have been in that Starbucks coffee shop inside of the Dublin Zoo and they didn’t accept the Starbuck’s card which is been accepted everywhere I mean in ALL STARBUCKS around the WORLD. So, be advised about this.

25/10/2025: Not restaurant the takeaway,waited an hour and half for my food to b delivered got told the citywest riots wher to blame for the delay,the takeaway isn't even near citywest and neither is my house,food cold no apology nothing Won't b ordering from there AGAIN

23/10/2025: This place use to be the best Chinese! We got this as a family on Sunday, 3 big shrimps in a Peking chicken dish and the kung pao beef smell was unbearable.

04/12/2025: Food ordered for delivery, 1 hour and 47 minutes from the time i ordered online and im only a 10 minute walk from the shop. Its ridiculous and now on just eat they have written reviews hidden so customers cant see how bad it is. This takeaway is notorious for taking hours to deliver to locals its not good enough. I would avoid it and stick to somewhere more reliable.

13/12/2025: Ordered online and was told the food was “on the way.” After over an hour of waiting, we called to check — turns out they hadn’t even started cooking the food yet. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful, showed zero interest in fixing the situation or apologising. Just attitude. When the food eventually arrived, it was mid at best — absolutely not worth the wait or the hassle. Complete waste of time, terrible customer service, and misleading updates. Won’t be ordering here again.

01/12/2025: When i lived in templeogue i used to go in there a lot i think the staff are very friendly and is always well stocked derek the owner and his wife susan run a great shop.with the help of staff its always lovely and clean well done to all hugo quilty

02/11/2025: When I asked for a fresh roll under the oven yer one behind the counter barked that the rolls are all cooked together.....I explained you dont cook a roll but bake it and if its too much trouble to do a 180 and pick up a roll literally behind her perhaps she could work somewhere else as the saying goes the customer is always right. In addition the old codger who also works behind that same deli counter has the manners of a wheelie bin again if retirement is a better option consider taking it buddy ! Boys on the till are ok 👍

31/07/2025: Worst dining experience of my life. I ordered udon noodles with prawns and teriyaki sauce, and what I got was honestly the worst udon I’ve ever had. It felt more like teriyaki with a side of udon than the other way around. The dish was made with zero care or attention, completely lacking in love or effort. Extremely disappointing. Save your money and stay away from this shop!!! 🤯

16/09/2025: Soup was served me cold, got different type of rice, delivery guy didn’t know where my location is, which was literally in the city Centre, never seen a worse restaurant in Dublin than this restaurant.

14/09/2025: They call this sushii? The portions are very small and not delicious. Very unsatisfied. They also only put a small little ball of wasabi looks like bluetack. Glad i didn’t order more food from here would of been ever more disappointed especially because i paid €22 just for all this. They need to learn how to properly make sushi portions

30/10/2025: Nasty rude argumentative staff. It pains me to give them even one star. Never again. Horrible people. Have never received a decent order or from them. I’m finished giving them chances.

28/07/2025: €17 for burger meal in Dundrum.Looked good.No real taste off meat ,bun,kettuce or tomato.No nice sauce included? Burger was black on both sides and mot cooked in the middle.Im sure how they can justify the price?Certainly wasnt Gourmet quality.

30/05/2025: The fun began with their self-serve machine, which decided twice that it simply could not be bothered. I stood there like a chimp with an iPad, repeatedly stabbing the frozen screen while a queue formed behind me, full of people wondering whether they too would live long enough to place an order. Eventually, after what felt like a lifetime, the order limped through the system. Fifteen minutes later my number was finally called, but not before they managed to turn what should have been a simple handover into a full-blown drinks disaster. My Coke was launched across the counter like a low-budget stunt scene, showering three innocent customers. Unsurprisingly, this did not go down well. And then the burger arrived. Technically, it was a double patty burger. In reality, it was a cheap, greasy, structural catastrophe. The patties themselves looked exhausted — thin, grey, oily, and completely devoid of any real flavour. The cheese had melted into limp flaps, drooping sadly over the sides like melted plastic. And as if to ensure the whole thing was completely impossible to eat, they had crammed in a ridiculous slab of lettuce the size of a small parasol. It stuck out like the sails of a boat, making any attempt to pick it up result in an immediate collapse of the entire construction. This was not one of those indulgent, guilty pleasure burgers you rave about to your friends. It was a cheap, greasy mess you finish only because you feel too ashamed to throw it away. Gourmet Burger Kitchen needs to sort its technology, train its staff not to spill drinks on customers, and — most importantly — go back to sourcing proper burger meat. Because at the moment, it is a very long way from gourmet.

07/12/2025: I have ordered food first time on Friday night arrived in 57 min im 12 walk , food quality terrible noodles were to spicy to eat meat and duck quality very dry when rang the reception to ask how long for my food to arrive some very rude Chinese girl said very busy and hang up the phone .

27/11/2025: I dont know what happened today but was the oddest experience i ever had. Ordered duck fried rice and a can of coke zero. I got my order and everything was separate. From the sauce to the veg. Any time I ordered it was all in one and never separated. I rang the restaurant and the woman on the other line was so rude. I couldn't even get a word in. She was shouting and screaming down the phone. She hung up on me not once but twice. When you ask to speak to a manger they should pass the phone over not just shout and scream. If you hear her on the phone dont even bother with her. Go straight to whoever you order with just eat or uber eats. Used to be a good customer but they never seeing my money again.

29/10/2025: Very slow service! They keep customers waiting and we still end up getting food that isn't sweet!!!!

19/09/2025: Theres no need serving people stale food, your Eba was so strong like a Rod, your pounded yam was stale too and the Egusi must be Abolished in the land of the living. Please stop cooking swallow

22/12/2025: Watched on the tracker as the delivery driver went to 4-5 different areas passing my house multiple times over the course of about 20 minutes. Food arrived COLD, box crushed and soaking WET on one side. Pizza lid crushed into toppings and half the cheese on the lid. I will NEVER order from dominos again! I’m sick of this sub standard service!

20/12/2025: Domino's finglas was closed , so I ordered here instead, next time I'll just starve. Pizza was soggy and I quite litteraly had to reconstruct each slice after picking it up. The goujons where pale and floppy but somehow cooked.

30/10/2025: Food is bang average. €18 for a spice bag with 4 pieces of chicken & an egg fried rice. Took 80 minutes to be delivered and was barely warm to touch. Standard has fallen off a cliff as of late.
