The best restaurants in Dublin

21/02/2025: We showed up to our reservation and they were not open. We had our reservation for 6 months and it’s during operating hours. Lights were off and the doors were locked. Thank goodness for the next door restaurant for making room for us. This restaurant apparently is barely open when it’s supposed to be. Do not come here. Kind of confused on how it has such a high rating…don’t even waste your time.

25/01/2025: This place is closed! Our groupon and booking were accepted but when we showed up, the place was closed and no one was answering phone calls

19/08/2025: ADVOID at all costs dirty chipper with bad hygiene practices worst chipper I ever had. I wish I read the reviews before buying food from this chipper spent 24 quid on food. The chips are frozen skinny greasy crap. This chipper should be closed down very bad.

02/04/2025: I ordered philiez cheese hero (steak) along with chicken wings spice box and extra sauce. When I received ordered , half of my steak roll was missing, chicken wings with so called spice box looked expired and reheated up with fries and there were no peppers no seasoning no nothing . I called the restaurant to fix it and that man on the phone did not even know what he is talking about then he said he is gonna let the manager know about the issue and will call back right away. 40 minutes later i’m calling again and again and they are not answering any of my calls including the delivery driver. What a disaster you people are. Worst customer service ever

11/02/2025: Ordered food it came late and was freezing cold couldn’t eat a thing it went straight in the bin I rang to complain and they told me to contact just eat don’t waste your time or your money

01/11/2025: Just got the Singapore noodles and seriously it was disgusting, the chicken looks like it was cooked days ago and noddles are so bland... Won't be using these guys again!!! Chef needs replacing asap

13/12/2025: Ordered online and was told the food was “on the way.” After over an hour of waiting, we called to check — turns out they hadn’t even started cooking the food yet. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful, showed zero interest in fixing the situation or apologising. Just attitude. When the food eventually arrived, it was mid at best — absolutely not worth the wait or the hassle. Complete waste of time, terrible customer service, and misleading updates. Won’t be ordering here again.

27/11/2025: Absolutely horrible last few experiences but thought it was a once off, got it tonight, issues with collection but besides that the food was not good at all. For years it’s been the only place we’ve gone and I will not set foot back in here. Rang up to let them know and they wanted me to return the food?? I live 20 mins away. The curry sauce tasted like cinnamon (hadn’t done before) chicken was so stringy and chewy. The prawn crackers were the best part. Never again don’t know what’s happened

16/11/2025: Ordered chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were the smallest I’ve ever seen, and the fries were cooked fresh, but no good. Overall, not worth the high price.

09/11/2025: Way too expensive for the portion size. Maybe an expensive, upscale restaurant can get away with that. But not a diner that only sells regular burgers. €14 for a Double Smash Burger without a drink or fries, which is comparable in size to a Double Cheeseburger from McDonald's. To be fair, the burgers here are really good – but that's where the positives end. You can get the fries anywhere. There's nothing special about them to justify the price. The boneless wings are a joke. The server tried to talk to us as little as possible and just mumbled quietly to herself. We really had high hopes because of the nice atmosphere, but it was a complete flop. This is the first time I've agreed 100% with all the other reviews.

15/11/2025: 1st time ordering and it was put in the bin, worst smoked cod I’ve ever seen soggy and swimming in grease, chips the exact same. The box it came in

02/11/2025: If someone asks for salt and vinegar pay attention it makes all the difference it was shit cause u didnt pay attention to the request for salt and vinegar, it's a chipper???? Is it extra for salt and vinegar these days?

25/10/2025: Not restaurant the takeaway,waited an hour and half for my food to b delivered got told the citywest riots wher to blame for the delay,the takeaway isn't even near citywest and neither is my house,food cold no apology nothing Won't b ordering from there AGAIN

23/10/2025: This place use to be the best Chinese! We got this as a family on Sunday, 3 big shrimps in a Peking chicken dish and the kung pao beef smell was unbearable.

01/12/2025: When i lived in templeogue i used to go in there a lot i think the staff are very friendly and is always well stocked derek the owner and his wife susan run a great shop.with the help of staff its always lovely and clean well done to all hugo quilty

02/11/2025: When I asked for a fresh roll under the oven yer one behind the counter barked that the rolls are all cooked together.....I explained you dont cook a roll but bake it and if its too much trouble to do a 180 and pick up a roll literally behind her perhaps she could work somewhere else as the saying goes the customer is always right. In addition the old codger who also works behind that same deli counter has the manners of a wheelie bin again if retirement is a better option consider taking it buddy ! Boys on the till are ok 👍

31/07/2025: Worst dining experience of my life. I ordered udon noodles with prawns and teriyaki sauce, and what I got was honestly the worst udon I’ve ever had. It felt more like teriyaki with a side of udon than the other way around. The dish was made with zero care or attention, completely lacking in love or effort. Extremely disappointing. Save your money and stay away from this shop!!! 🤯

16/09/2025: Soup was served me cold, got different type of rice, delivery guy didn’t know where my location is, which was literally in the city Centre, never seen a worse restaurant in Dublin than this restaurant.

14/09/2025: They call this sushii? The portions are very small and not delicious. Very unsatisfied. They also only put a small little ball of wasabi looks like bluetack. Glad i didn’t order more food from here would of been ever more disappointed especially because i paid €22 just for all this. They need to learn how to properly make sushi portions

30/08/2025: Incredibile how a portion of chips is now 4.50eur. in there, they never give you a receipt and they also cheap out on the size of a single portion. I was literally able to count the chips in the bag.

22/12/2025: Watched on the tracker as the delivery driver went to 4-5 different areas passing my house multiple times over the course of about 20 minutes. Food arrived COLD, box crushed and soaking WET on one side. Pizza lid crushed into toppings and half the cheese on the lid. I will NEVER order from dominos again! I’m sick of this sub standard service!

20/12/2025: Domino's finglas was closed , so I ordered here instead, next time I'll just starve. Pizza was soggy and I quite litteraly had to reconstruct each slice after picking it up. The goujons where pale and floppy but somehow cooked.

30/07/2025: I have been in that Starbucks coffee shop inside of the Dublin Zoo and they didn’t accept the Starbuck’s card which is been accepted everywhere I mean in ALL STARBUCKS around the WORLD. So, be advised about this.
