13/12/2024: this place is a dump needs refreshing

17/11/2024: I’ve been a regular at Bakers and Baristas, but lately I’ve noticed that there are quite a few flies in the place the last few visits. Unfortunately this takes away the usual good experience that I was used to having here.

13/01/2025: Let me place an order online at 11:30pm and closing at 12 so I assumed would be ok, I waited for confirmation after paying nothing so tried to call no answer, at 11:55 a text message to say order cancelled and refunded. No good to me as everywhere now closed and only in from the airport. Won’t bother again.

12/01/2025: Literally the best takeaway in all of Ongar. They're big big box Is absolutely scintalating🔥🔥🔥 fried rice boxes are filled to the brim and all I'm saying possibly the best Chinese in Dublin!🔥🔥🔥

13/12/2024: We have been waiting for over 1 hour for 2 bottles of wine. No food to be cooked nothing. Their restaurant is min driving away. Mind u its now 3:51 AM. No number to call. Why accept our order then???? No traffic nothing on the road. Absolutely horrid!!!!! I will NEVER EVER SPEND MONEY AT haruki Japanese Thai restaurant again. Horrible people u are. Shame on u.

09/11/2024: Usually go to China Court and collect but decided to try somewhere else for delivery. Sadly it was very disappointing, chow mein was bland and had a horrible texture. Food was either too salty or vinegar-y. The pancakes and spring rolls were very soggy. I just felt generally deflated about the taste of the food and I won't be ordering from here again.

19/10/2024: You pay the same no matter whether you order a combo or not. Depends on who is working that day.

27/09/2024: They had no plant picante and no student deal, despite being right outside of UCD. There's many other subways that are far better and offer student deals

27/07/2024: I ordered porotta from this place, and it arrived overcooked with visible black marks, clearly charred. When I contacted the restaurant, the person I spoke with was very rude. He dismissed my concerns, saying it’s normal for their porotta to look like that and abruptly cut the call. Following that, they didn't pick up any of my calls. Extremely disappointing experience both in terms of food quality and customer service. I won't be ordering from here again.

30/06/2024: I should of read the reviews. Not impressed at all to much sauce, not fresh like reheated , full of oil, ordered the special meal came with no rice or notn. And expensive to say the least. First impressions lads

14/09/2024: Paid €20+ for a mega box and basically got a box of chips, the food food was dry and covered in a ridiculous amount of salt. Stay well away

15/08/2024: I ordered a 3in1 and a 2in1 from here tonight and we'll I took a bit off two chips and to say it was disgusting is an understatement the chips were very dry even with curry sauce it just tasted like it was reheated 3 times and the curry sauce tasted more like water than curry absolutely disgusting this place needs to be shut down I'm shocked they still get customers I used to eat from here years ago when my sister worked here and it used to be lovely but ever since they got a different chef the food has been appalling when I rang for a refund I was told I had to bring the food to the shop myself as the delivery driver won't go to collect the food which I never heard of any food place refusing to collect food that got complaints I also didn't get so much as were very sorry or nothing just basically told me bring it to the shop yourself and we'll look at the food and then give you a refund absolutely disgraceful food and bad customer service too

12/01/2025: Normally my family's go to Chinese, we got a €150 takeaway for a birthday gathering with family traveling from as far as Longford, every single person that had the chicken balls ended up getting diarrhea, all within 1 hour of eating it, when wecalled to complain they basically didn't care less, not acceptable service especially when you consider how much money was spent and it was even pre ordered the day before so literally no excuses for the food not to be of a decent standard, just lost our custom and will make sure I advise every person I know to avoid the place aswel.

12/01/2025: We got very sick from our food we ordered from here , and management handled it very badly , €148 we spent as there was a family get together, and BQ wouldn't take liability for the food poisoning of 8 people ! For that they have lost us as regular customers , And i do not recommend them ! They need to accept liability where food poisoning is concerned !! Very very let down by how they handled our situation. Hope nobody else has to experience this.

24/10/2024: Me and my day service went to subway today on the 24/10/24 and the service here was appalling the staff were very rude , no customer service one guy working there was rude to my friend and other customers , key worker got hot chocolate it was poor and lumpy, milk was out of date , absolutely terrible never coming here again.

28/12/2024: Two big holes in my bag of chips and the seal on the bag was a mess. Driver clearly having a nibble at customers food. Think I'll be personally collecting my future orders from now on. Also the delivery driver said he couldn't give me 30euro if I gave the balance on a 50 then he whips outs bunches of notes and just gives more coins in change. Imbisile! I should be reporting this guy. Watch out for a rough looking 50 something baldy guy delivering for this restaurant. Very dodge me thinks.

21/12/2024: Awfull service. Ordered a spice bag which tasted like it was a day old and micro waved back to life don’t eat here

28/07/2024: Ordered kebab, it smelled like hot garbage (i swear this is not an exaggeration) and the food was SOOO bland i doubt there was even salt. 2 bites then garbage where it belongs.

22/07/2024: Very poor taco fries here recently. I arrived to collect my order and they had not noticed it on the system. They asked me to wait 5 minutes which I did. At the same time some customers ordered taco fries. When I got the order home the portion of taco fries was laughable for over 10 euro. Very few fries and pretty much just covered in sauce. Would not recommend here. Very bad experience

21/07/2024: Nice food, good service, reasonable prices. Nice casual and relaxed environment.The only disadvantage is that this place is not suitable for special occasion dining. Otherwise very nice
