The best restaurants in Swords

08/05/2025: I ordered a Vietnamese latte and I was served a straight up iced latte, just milk and coffee, zero sweetness. My whole family tried it and even my Vietnamese coworker confirmed via the picture I showed her that there was definitely no condensed milk in there. I went up to the barista I ordered from, there was no line, and I said “Hi there, sorry I don’t think theres any condensed milk in here, it just tastes like coffee and milk” and she responded condescendingly “I put 20 ml of condensed milk in there, do you need me to put in moorreee?” I was a bit taken aback because it was extremely obvious that the drink was not made correctly, and I had only taken a small sip or two so I wasn’t trying to swindle for a free drink. So I said that “ok if you say you did I trust you” and sat back down. My family’s drinks were also not satisfactory as they were not very hot apparently. So yeah I wouldn’t return as they clearly can’t own up to mistakes when they make them. The barista was a woman in late 20’s/early thirties with black glasses, brown curly hair in a pony and had tattoos up her arm.

05/05/2025: Good coffee, chocolates, desserts and sandwiches. Limited seating and slow service. Staff are nice, only problem is the prices and coffee speed. I have gone there on 15 minute breaks and haven’t gotten served by the 15 minute mark in the past.

22/12/2024: Breakfast items mostly cooked in deep fat frier but overall for fry, toast and coffee then €13 was decent enough value. Club sandwich was basic bread and fillings but good portion. Busy location filled with elderly locals. A community greasy spoon type venue.

05/05/2025: I’ve emailed twice already but haven’t had a response, so I’m sharing my experience here. My 83-year-old father, who lives in the Carnegie Court Apartments, was recently refused entry simply because he was wearing trainers. He had a knee replacement and wears them on medical advice. He’s a regular visitor during the week when it’s quieter, but because this happened on a Saturday when it was busy, he was turned away at the door. I find this really disappointing. At his age, and with his health needs, it’s upsetting that no exception was made, especially given that he’s a loyal customer. Hopefully this can be addressed so others in similar situations aren’t treated the same way in the future

24/04/2025: I have had many a carvery here, and I can genuinely say it's the best spot for great food. The quality of roast meats on offer is second to none, expertly cooked with a vast choice of veg and potatoes to accompany your meal. The food has that home cooked taste that you rarely get from carveries in my experience. You also have other choices on offer if you're not in the mood for a carvery. The standard of interior decor and comfortable seating makes for a very comfortable experience. Also, the standard of cleanliness assures you that everything on offer here is top-notch ! The staff are friendly and well turned out. This is a well managed and run establishment !

29/03/2025: Hello Foodies. Well I am in the Swords area and I thought I would get a delivery. So looking around the area there seemed to be a few. One caught my eye....Pizza Dog...They've a great menu online, well laid out in their app. Just look up PizzaDog in your Apple or Google. I order a basic pizza and ordered separate toppings with a cheese crust. Portion were minimal but tasty. I also order one of their hot dogs. It's was to die for. Both items were really flavoursome. Very fresh and the delivery time was way faster than I expected. The pizza itself and like the hot dog were both prepared and good delivery boxes for both. Well worth the order, price was especially reasonable even with the 20% discount on the first order. I will be ordering again this evening. I had atmosphere not marked because I had a delivery. But from the photos and other reviews, it sure looks like I'll need to pay a visit 😊. Try them out.

06/05/2025: Just had breakfast in this cafe. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was a really good Irish Breakfast. 2 sausage, two beacon, two white pudding, two toast, two fried eggs with beans and tea : €12:50. Wow. Super. Will be back.

04/05/2025: I was overcharged , waitress took our order wrong did not say it back to me didn’t realise till the end . when I addressed it manager refused to refund me and be accommodating, was just rude. As if I was lying asked to check cameras ridiculous ruined the whole experience honestly

19/05/2025: Lethal place not a bad thing to say about it, cater your every need in terms of milk substitution in your coffee etc. The workers are really nice and look like they care about their job compared to other coffee shops I've been to, there's a blonde worker in there I wish I knew her name but she deserves a raise! 🤣 Recommend this spot to anybody who's interested
