The best restaurants in Swords

01/07/2025: There is one golden rule when travelling: you eat where locals eat. It never fails. Courtyard Café has well-earned the straight five stars in its reviews: on the spot made food and snacks, great coffee and friendly atmosphere. So, do not hesitate and go to visit Sligo and, when there, go to Courtyard Café or viceversa.

14/06/2025: Courtyard Cafe is a lovely little spot with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I spent about €14 on a flat white and a homemade sandwich, both of which were fresh and tasty. The café has a bright, airy feel with plenty of natural light, making it a great place to sit and unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, adding to the comfortable vibe. It’s a perfect spot for a casual catch-up or some quiet time with good food and coffee.

28/08/2025: Disgusting food. Chicken is the lowest quality crap - stringy and utterly repulsive.

12/08/2025: My girlfriend visited GFP Swords for the first time having previously been to the one in Santry. We were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious, apart from the squid, which was somewhat tasteless. But the other dishes, including the desserts we ordered were exquisite. The service was top notch, especially from whom I assume to be the manager. The place was quiet, which is exactly what we like, and the old-school music made the place feel even homier. We are already looking to go back, but unfortunately it only opens for dinners on Fridays and Saturdays..

20/07/2025: We went there on Saturday for breakfast, the food came cold, the avocado tasted spoiled. We wanted to alert the attendant so that it could be checked, she either apologized or went to check in the kitchen, anyway, we won't be back.Very bady experience .

19/07/2024: We get pizza therapy every Friday and it’s amazing. The pizza itself is so so good (BBQ chicken is a fav) and the lady on phone is always so friendly and pleasant. Amazing service and food. Well worth trying it you have not.

15/07/2024: The pizza was unreal! The breakdown as follows - Service - is excellent and so accommodating, we wanted less cheese more sauce and that was no issue at all! We weren’t left waiting ages and the seating was very convenient. Pricing was very fair, it’s a great pizza for a great price and probably the cheapest therapy you’ll get 😂 The pizza dough is second to none, so light and fluffy ! You don’t feel all slumpy afterward which was a nice surprise. The sauce was delicious, cheese was deadly and the ratio was on point. Go , go now!

19/08/2025: The service was incredible and the food came really quite fast. The speed of the food did not affect the quality of the food, which by the way, was stupendous! The food was reasonably priced and a wide variety to choose from. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The facilities were sparkling clean and well stocked. Overall eating here was a great experience and I would definitely eat here again, five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😁😁😁

07/09/2025: Don't come here unannounced if there's more then 4people. We arrived on a very quiet Sunday, 6adults 4kids. Tried to start ordering food and the guy behind the bar said 'theres not many staff in the kitchen today, how many of you are there', we got the 4kids sorted first, when the waiter came with the food we asked him to bring it to the kids table (it was beside us) and he just put it down and said 'yous can do all that yourselves'... Then we started noticing the place getting busier and everyone having food so we ordered for the adults. The Food took ages to come and again was just plopped down anywhere. The staff were rude, the customers worse, commenting on the kids being there. Weird vibes. Do not recommend

27/08/2025: Cupcakes and Counting is an absolute gem in Swords! The coffee and matcha are always perfect, and I can never resist their heavenly strawberry cheesecake – it’s honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Jay and Jenny are such wonderful people, and every time I visit I feel so welcomed and uplifted by their warmth and kindness. I also love how comfortable it feels to simply take a moment for myself here – whether I want to catch up on some work or just pause and breathe. This place isn’t just about amazing cakes and drinks, it’s about the atmosphere they’ve created – cozy, friendly, and full of heart. Highly recommended! 🌸✨

23/08/2025: I couldn't recommend Cupcakes and Counting enough, whether its for your special day, or to make your day more special. Jen & Jay made our wedding cake years ago, and we came back almost a decade later for another taste - it truly didn't disappoint (which is lucky, so the memory is even better now) but more than that, both of them are truly wonderful and lovely.

03/08/2025: We had a gorgeous meal here, service was top class and the lamb was ‘melt in the mouth’ and was cooked to perfection. We will be back again.

07/06/2025: Ordered a flat white and almond croissant, coffee had no taste, milk was burnt and pastry was stale

15/04/2025: Omg the coffee is delicious. It literally made me say "wow" out loud. The biscoff protein ball was delicious as well.

11/09/2025: To stay in Swords it's perfect. The shuttle bus to the airport is very punctual.

28/07/2025: The Wine House is a lovely restaurant . Food is amazing . The waitress looking after us was very friendly but one thing that annoyed us was she came to the table about 6-7 times to ask if everything was ok and if we needed anything. I think coming to the table once after we've received our food is plenty and then if we needed anything we could call her. Other than that I would highly recommend.

07/09/2025: Great menu. A lot of it is spicy. Sweet potato fries and onion rings were delicious. Portions are huge, while desert portion was small.
