I got something to eat from supervalue and was about to ha be my lunch but someone working there was like “sorry you can’t eat here we did not sell you that” and that’s just messed up because 1. If I can’t eat food that was not sold there, where in the world am I even meant to sit? The ground even if it’s raining? 2, if I don’t cave a car cos I get there on foot, and I was waiting on someone to pick me up, and I can’t sit outside what am I even meant to do And 3, if I’m carrying multiple items with me, and I don’t have a table to put the stuff on? and I can’t use theirs? Then where in the world can I? Like i understand their purpose but you’d think they might allow it, just so stupid, now I don’t think I even want to get a tea hot chocolate or coffee or whatever the mess out of there, cos that rule is just so silly

12/10/2024: Ordered online, good deal for 3 lrg pies. Selected what time to bake for and was ready to go 2 mins after it got there. Apple Pay made it handy to pay.

12/11/2024: Disappointed with Eddie Rockets of late. The burgers on my last two visits were dry and hard. The chips on my visit today were totally over done and re cooked too many times. My cheese sauce was very thick and gloopy. No need to pre cook the burgers on a quiet Tuesday night I feel. There is also a longstanding smell of toilet/ drains also which is off putting so we sit the far side to avoid it. Lastly, we went for the kids eat free Tuesday, I ordered two kids meals and a jnr meal and was charged for the jnr meal. I had 3 kids but was informed that the jnr isn't included. Not sure it's well informed on the poster and it wasn't explained by the server which may not be part of their training but it would have been nice to steer me. The service was good otherwise and prompt etc. No issues with the service other than the offer not being explained but the food quality has definitely dropped and please sort the toilets! Always loved Eddie Rockets but have ye lost your standards perhaps in recent times?

08/11/2024: Staff not very friendly. Food portions were a little small. Very expensive.

13/11/2024: Always great food and service and reasonably priced. Breakfast bap never disappoints! Good selection on the menu something for everyone.

03/11/2024: Lovely breakfast, coffee, and very attentive staff. Very clean and reasonably priced. What a great little area Applewood is. Have been before and will be back again.

11/09/2024: Food was just not good. Burrito was cold. Hard dry bacon and sausage. Over cooked Eggs Benedict no sauce. Surly waitress. We are not picky eaters either but very disappointing.

02/09/2024: Worst place I've ever come across. Was dining there last night and had to witness a jumped up member of staff firing another member of staff in front of me. So unprofessional. Then to make things even worse, when I was leaving the pavilions shopping centre later on that same so called "manager" that had just sacked a girl in front of me is sitting outside smoking a joint on the bench. I think roosters need to really look at who they employ to be in charge of their premises. Absolutely disgraceful

12/10/2024: Second time I get so disappointed with their cakes so dry and tasteless, never again shopping here, 27.45€ for a 12” plastic cake, Dunnes has the same for 12€ is just gonna go on the bin sadly, first one was the pavlova and fruits and was awful. Not worthy.

20/08/2024: A pathetic attempt at breakfast food. Asked for pancakes with fruit compot. The pancakes were unbuttered and solid, not fluffy, and the "fruit compot" was just a can of cocktail fruits in a plastic container. Tables were sticky and unclean. The avocado on the avacodo toast was a purée, and the toast was soggy. The side of eggs were powdered and flavourless. None of us could stand to finish our plates.

12/10/2024: Hot chocolate was ok but the brownie and red velvet cake was bone dry. Won't bother again.

27/09/2024: My go to place for proper barista coffee in Pavillions. Staff always very nice too!

19/10/2024: Very friendly local, great service, great staff, great beer.

20/07/2024: Meal was good but too expensive since all it was was a simple cheese and onion sandwich, and for some reason a dog was allowed into the cafe, and within minutes of us sitting down, started barking very loudly, disrupting our whole experience. None of the staff told the owners to leave, so we ended up having to leave early. There's a reason dogs shouldn't be allowed in cafes and restaurants. Would not go back.

02/10/2024: I have been a client since they first opened in Swords years ago and unfortunately I don’t think I will order again. While I understand prices are reviewed from time to time, it has now become very expensive for a takeaway. My last order came to 27 euros for a starter and a main. Firstly, I got the gyoza for starter and was a bit surprised to get 5 pieces instead of the 6 announced on the website. My beef main was close to 16 euros… add to that 4 euros mandatory delivery charge as you can’t pick up from Rush anymore and a cheeky 50 cents « processing » fee ( please explain what costs is that even covering). It should be called « taking the mickey » fee in my view. I also find the food quality has gone down significantly, the beef in my dish the last time tasted a bit weird and was quite chewy.
