The best restaurants in Swords

24/05/2025: Coffee is good but service was disappointing. Not very friendly staff, no ‘hello’ or ‘good morning’, just abit rude. The place could also do with a fresh facelift of paint, the outside is very dirty looking.

19/05/2025: Lethal place not a bad thing to say about it, cater your every need in terms of milk substitution in your coffee etc. The workers are really nice and look like they care about their job compared to other coffee shops I've been to, there's a blonde worker in there I wish I knew her name but she deserves a raise! 🤣 Recommend this spot to anybody who's interested

03/06/2025: The staff is not very friendly. Today I came for a coffee, after 5 minutes of getting my coffee the staff asked me to drink my coffee and leave because the facility is closing. I had to drink coffee by force. I don't think it's done that way. It would have been much more polite to say before I ordered that I wanted the facility to close soon, because then I wouldn't have ordered at all, but would have gone somewhere else.

02/06/2025: I had an acai bowl for the first time. It was freaking insane, delicious! The only problem is that the granola was a bit painful, sharp! 🗡 I suggest to be careful. Prices are a bit high, but that's life these days

25/05/2025: Parked in the car park out the back. Went into Chalks with a load of mates. Spent a fortune in there. Came out and car clamped. Why is Chalks clamping their own customers. Insane. Won’t be going back.

26/06/2025: Had butterfly chicken plain and mash both gluten free as im coeliac, was really nice, little expensive, €18.20 takeaway, staff very helpfull, will defo call again 🙌😊

07/06/2025: I actually have no words with what I just received. When I called them to tell them they obviously made some mistake, they said if I don't like it, to order another one (meaning I have to pay for the one I got and a new one). I was told they didn't give me a veggie patty because it was more expensive. Fine. But at least do the veggie delite that was ordered. (veggie delite description in picture just for the laughs) I actually can't believe someone thought that was okay to send out. Jalapenos, bread and sauce??

04/05/2025: I visited yesterday to pick up some plants and peat compost for my garden. I tried to get the attention of one of your employees by waving at him three times to ask for help lifting it onto my trolley, but he completely ignored me, despite knowing I was calling for him. His behavior was incredibly rude and dismissive. I think he should be fired; he wasn’t doing anything productive.

14/05/2025: I just added items to my cart and then decided not to order as they charge ridiculously high delivery fee of €7.50 for online delivery orders and then an additional €4-5 for the driver just to deliver to Rush. We have been occasionally ordering for the past 3 years as the food is good, and we'd like to order more frequently but the delivery fee is insane. Restaurants from skerries and the likes deliver for under a fiver. Even deliver delivers from restaurants in Swords for €3.99.

05/07/2025: Food tasted really good, portions were great and it was hot. However, not sure it was worth it as they must use a tonne of msg and salt (more than your usual Chinese) as we were up all night with the thirst and feeling a bit unwell. We ordered a spice bag, chicken fried rice, peeking spare ribs and satay sauce. All sauces were good, spice bag a little more sweet than spicy. We ordered on a Friday night.

23/06/2025: Ordered take away delivery yesterday evening from Plaza , swords. Food arrived promptly but I have to say this is probably one of the worst chinese takeaway meals I have ever experienced. The spice bag was riddled with salt and the chicken was so overcook and tough it was inedible. The noodles were disgraceful, hard and difficult to eat without chocking, the food was such poor quality , most of it ended up in the bin. Avoid this place, this was not the first time the food was of a poor quality but this was definitely the worst we've had, and we have been eating in the restaurant over 15 years. Shocking quality and not cheap

14/01/2025: Came here on the weekend with family they were super busy and staff was very busy especially on a weekend busy times , and i ordered 30 wings platter extra hot but there was no sauce on the wings and i didn’t get my two sides of rice but i got the one i paid extra for so i ordered 3 rice but got only 1 , service was slow the water machine was giving out dirty water, , next time i should come on less busy times because staff can’t get the orders right. Kids meals were delayed they had to eat my chicken wings until there food arrived, they should hire extra waiters for busy times

17/04/2025: Disappointing Experience at Starbucks Belgard, Tallaght We had a very disappointing experience at this location recently. One of the managers or supervisors — a Romanian woman who seems to be in charge often — was noticeably rude and unprofessional, not only towards us as customers but also in how she interacted with staff. She was openly criticising a new employee in front of everyone while instructing her on how to prepare a hot chocolate. Rather than guiding her calmly, she came across as impatient and condescending, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. To make matters worse, when she stepped in to demonstrate, she spilled cream over the cup, made a mess, and still handed the drink to the customer without cleaning it or offering an apology. This level of service is unacceptable, especially from someone in a supervisory role. We understand everyone can have a bad day, but basic customer service and professionalism should always be a standard, particularly in a global brand like Starbucks.
