22/01/2025: Eddies in Swords had gone downhill fast over the last few years. Most recent order had chip portions with 20 to 25 chips. For seven euro! I emailed a complaint and never heard back.

12/03/2025: Have been ordering online almost weekly for the past couple of months and have been so satisfied with the quality of food and the taste is amazing the stuffed cheesy crust is a must! The delivery drivers are always so respectful and happy when delivering the food. Adore this place, the staff truly work well and the negative reviews just don't make sense to me. Food is always delivered on time, fresh and hot.

02/12/2024: Pizza Dog is good but it's not as good as it thinks. The food is good but I'm afraid they're taking advantage of the cost of living crisis a tad to the point where the prices are bordering on ridiculous. I used to order from here once a week, not it's once every few months. Best wings around though.

23/10/2024: My name is Gerard Keane. For 37 years, I was Ireland's National State Offshore Oil & Gas Certifying Engineer for exploration, development and production activities. I regularly visit the Bakers + Baristas café in the Pavilions shopping centre in Swords, County Dublin. I've come to know Ella (Manager), Ioana, Mary, Alina, Fernanda, Jasmine, Rafaela and all the team very well. This review is to record my pleasure in knowing them. They are extremely welcoming, friendly, hard-working and overall very nice ladies, with great personalities and great attitude. Regarding their work, they are a total credit to the café. They are always multi-tasking, without stop: Serving customers at the counter; Clearing vacated tables; Cleaning the floor and seats; Restocking the food and drinks cabinets, etc. Because of their efforts, the café is always in top-class condition, because they are top-class people themselves. I wish them all the very best into the future.

11/02/2025: Pizza was stone cold when arrived. It took more than 62 minutes to deliver 3KM journey on Tuesday evening. It was worst pizza ever. This is the second bad experience for us. We ordered for dinner and kids were starving waiting for the pizza. Delivery service has fallen from the cliffs in last couple of months. I will never order again.

15/03/2025: Review of Eden Cafe - The food was very nice but all my days, the staff where extremely unfriendly, I’ve rarely felt so unwelcome. When I asked what was the difference in the Eden burger €19.95 on the paper menu and the smash burger on the menu board which was behind the counter, which as €17.95, I was firmly informed they where the same and the price was €19.95. It was a very good burger :). Not all but most of the other staff were also so unfriendly. Even asking where I can get some table water, the response was as if I had asked for a something differently. The bottle of tap water was amongst half full bottles of water at the counter beside the coffee machine. When I asked, could I take the full bottle, I was snarled at and told ‘ye’. It was very odd but I’m sorry to say it’s a one star due to the staff.

02/03/2025: I'm a coeliac and lactose intolerant. There was nothing on the set menu that I could have but a lady, whose brother, she said, incidentally had the same problem as me, came out of the kitchen and produced the most fabulous meal specially. It was better than you would get in a 5 star hotel. If I could give a 10 star review, I would. I don't know her name but she hit perfection.

09/02/2025: We've used for collection and delivery takeaway recently, the food has been delicious, the delivery was within the predicted time. Our new go to for Chinese food 😋

29/01/2025: No complaint at all. Ordered simple chicken chop suey with fried noodles. Taste:7/10. Not bad but I've experienced better. Some of bamboo slices are unchewable. Portion: 10/10. 2 inches tall tray, big enough for big boy. Not overfilled with onion, plenty meat. Price: 9/10. Packing: 8/10. Missing any napkins, no chopsticks neither plastic cutlery (even I'm not fan for plastic garbage). Speed: 10/10. Food was done within 10 minutes. Overall: 9/10. Almost perfect!

14/01/2025: Came here on the weekend with family they were super busy and staff was very busy especially on a weekend busy times , and i ordered 30 wings platter extra hot but there was no sauce on the wings and i didn’t get my two sides of rice but i got the one i paid extra for so i ordered 3 rice but got only 1 , service was slow the water machine was giving out dirty water, , next time i should come on less busy times because staff can’t get the orders right. Kids meals were delayed they had to eat my chicken wings until there food arrived, they should hire extra waiters for busy times

02/10/2024: I have been a client since they first opened in Swords years ago and unfortunately I don’t think I will order again. While I understand prices are reviewed from time to time, it has now become very expensive for a takeaway. My last order came to 27 euros for a starter and a main. Firstly, I got the gyoza for starter and was a bit surprised to get 5 pieces instead of the 6 announced on the website. My beef main was close to 16 euros… add to that 4 euros mandatory delivery charge as you can’t pick up from Rush anymore and a cheeky 50 cents « processing » fee ( please explain what costs is that even covering). It should be called « taking the mickey » fee in my view. I also find the food quality has gone down significantly, the beef in my dish the last time tasted a bit weird and was quite chewy.

04/10/2024: A delicious goat cheese on sourdough accompanied with Berry tea, just now Oct 4th 11:30 The 2 staff on duty just now here in The Pavilions are 6 stars, happily assisting everyone where needed. I was carrying multiple bags, so they brought everything to the table and even a hot water refill. Well worth the break, and I hope the staff receive some acknowledgement for being so good.

01/10/2024: O'Briens is a guarantee for sandwiches. Always. We use to go when we have the chance. But in the pavilion is for sure the worst we have been to. It's Tuesday and is not so busy, all the tables are dirty and full of trays with stuff. I moved stuff and cleaned myself to have a seat. And The girl at the till is absolutely unkind. I understand working with customers is hard and sometimes a challenge and we all have a day no, but this doesn't allows her to treat people with complacency.

22/01/2025: Best battered sausage I’ve ever had, so much so I won’t eat one out of any other chipper because it’s just a disappointment in comparison. The sausage is fantastic quality and the batter is nice and thick and not thin and hard My coworker loves the chicken fillet wrap, I always get the battered sausage special and the chips are always lovely, crispy and fresh Guys in the shop are also very nice and polite, my favorite chipper and I work in swords but live in Drogheda, unbeatable and affordable too :)

07/11/2024: Ordered smk cod chips chicken wrap chips and batter sausage. Got cod portion 3 chips batter sausage chicken wrap. Order incorrect and cod was like someone sat on it. Rang and spoke to manager. Advised what happened and he's asked "what do you want me to do about it". Spent 12mins on the phone not getting anywhere. Wouldn't give me his name. Said I was telling him he was a liar. Which I never said. I've never had a problem here. Honestly after tonight's order and a rude manager. I won't go back. It will be fingal cafe from now on.

11/01/2025: Food was really nice here before but now it's gone downhill. Really disappointing food. Very stale and dry . Wouldn't recommend ordering from here to be honest. Waste of your money.

06/03/2025: As a tourist from Sweden, this was my first time ever visiting a Starbucks, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! I was served by the incredible Oisín!! So polite and cheerful! He single-handedly took my Ireland vacation from a 4/5 to a perfect 5/5! ⭐️ 💛
