16/11/2025: Got food from this restaurant tonight and will never eat there again. Got chips and they were not fully cooked and were soggy. Also got battered sausages or what was supposed to be battered sausages and they were vile. It's not hard to cook chips or battered sausages.

14/11/2025: They've cancelled my order about 3 times, they're bad people, they don't even say hi friend. I ordered the kebab at 9 and they cancelled it.

30/09/2025: Terrible experience. Ordered chicken biryani with a friend and it was awful — the chicken tasted strange and honestly inedible. On top of that, they had the nerve to charge extra for the sides (salad and raita) that usually come with biryani everywhere else. Total rip-off. To make it worse, I even ordered one for takeaway but ended up canceling because I couldn’t bring myself to go through that again. Easily the worst Indian food I’ve had in Ireland, and I regret wasting money here. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

22/05/2025: You can trust that the have no care for customer service. Service was tragically disappointing. I made an order through JustEat at 10PM May 4th and only got a call about the food arriving at 1.30AM. The owner as they addressed to me, as Mr Khan hesitantly apologised and said that the next order I make would be reimbursed. I have called since and the person who picked up the phone was not helpful at all. Telling they needed to confirm with the boss and they’d call me back in 10mins. They didn’t. I called them 20mins later asking about updates and the person on the other end just went silent and refused to speak. They further refused to give me their name and said there was essentially nothing to be done.

20/01/2026: Takeaway food very hit & miss . Have had very good meals in the past but ! I ordered a chicken curry last night & it was inedible, the chicken was very dry & tough, obviously not fresh. Went in bin.

20/12/2025: I can’t understand the negative comments about shimla Indian restaurant Kilkenny, i love proper Indian ingredients and this is very tasty 👍 perhaps the opposition are a bit nasty with their opinions?? Delicious

04/11/2025: DO NOT EAT HERE absolute shit show of a place waiting over a hour and a half for a delivery on a tuesday night and was told there was “traffic” from maynooth to celbridge cant get through on the phone for ages and when we did they told me it wasn’t their problem

08/02/2026: Absolutely shite, my partner siobhan was up all night with explosive diarrhoea she had a spice bag,beef and black sauce and fried rice washed down with a can of coke. We wont be back 🤮

07/01/2026: Taste of India/Spice of India. Same place. €60. Wasn't worth €20. Bombay Aloo potatoes undercooked. But the really disappointing thing was the two prawn dishes: frozen prawns tossed into a slop of sauce. No imagination whatsoever. The naan was ok; the rice overcooked. The only enjoyable parts of this order were the poppdums and the onions/mint dip. I wouldn't dream of ordering from this place again. Absolute slop.

27/11/2025: 2 hours for delivery, will block you number if you call them multiple times. Food is barley edible. If you are craving Indian food please get it from someplace else. I PROMISE YOU, This place is not worth you time and money. Read all the Reviews especially the recent the review the better
