10/03/2025: Ordered a lamb tikka masala which is pretty standard. It's basically just water and cream actually almost tastes like milk. Absolutely inedible, horrible sauce ruined the whole meal. Just a container of slop and small bits of lamb. Totally bland and not what you'd expect from a tikka masala which is a standard curry. Fancied trying a new place for a change, should of stuck with where I know. Will not be ordering again.

02/01/2025: **Disappointing Experience** We ordered takeaway from Shapla on the 31st of December, and I regret to say the service was unacceptable. When I called to place the order, I asked the person on the phone to give me a moment to get the Airbnb address. Instead of being patient, he told me to call back when I was ready and ended the call abruptly. When I called back with the address, he struggled to hear me and repeatedly moaned in frustration, even though I repeated myself several times. When the delivery driver arrived, I couldn’t tell if it was the same person or not, but the attitude was just as unpleasant. We told him to give us a second while we grabbed the cash for our €90 order, and he sighed, placed the food on the ground, and snatched the money rudely before walking away without a word. As for the food, the quality was equally disappointing. I found a hair in the food, the rice was unsalted, the chips were cold, and the butter chicken tasted like leftover curry sauce from the day before. The only redeeming item was the naan bread, but even that was overly doughy. I understand it was New Year’s Eve and a busy time, but this does not excuse such poor service and attitude. Customer service is crucial in the restaurant industry, and sadly, none of that was evident during our experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve both their food quality and their attitude toward customers.

21/12/2024: This seems to have turned into a "Just Eat" takeaway, whereby they have diners eating in, but don't really need them. The door banged endlessly due to deliveries, but waiter blamed the wind. Loud phone ringing constantly due to people calling up to order takeaways. Restaurant was not warm enough for dining in. Food was very ordinary, but the nan was nice. Overall, not a pleasant experience at all.

07/02/2025: Normally get out of here and it's 90% ok, but I've just got a kebab and requested no onions as I'm allergic so I rang back down to explain the mistake they made and how I can't actually eat the food I've paid for now - the response I got was "we'll look after you next time" so I've paid for a kebab meal and all I can eat is the chips but the owners couldn't care less - they got there money so that's what matters right? Not the customers. I also asked them for extra meet which I'm guessing was charged for but if what they gave me had "extra meat" then without me requesting that I surely would have been given a vegetarian option There won't be a next time so you're best off just avoiding the place as I will be from here on in.

09/03/2025: This place is an absolute joke. We waited an hour and a half for our food, and when it arrived, it was completely undercooked. The spices were raw and uncooked. On top of that, the service was nonexistent, with zero hospitality or care for customers. Easily one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Total waste of time and money

26/02/2025: Asked for the spiciest thing they had and they said they would do a phaal. It was full of grainy chilli powder and a complete waste of money.

05/02/2025: Ordered for delivery, missing items and person on phone very rude refusing to replace items. When asked for a refund he said ok and hung up in my face. Wouldn't answer me after so had to get my partner to ring from my phone. AVOID

14/03/2025: curry was oily and water took TWO hours to arrive keep in mind i order from a place even a 10 minute walk away proper joke wouldn't recommend there phone number didn't even work, and when I got the right number they wouldn't pick up. talking about some food inspection my stomach needs a inspection after this food. left me coated in oil fr.

14/03/2025: We ordered our food at 3 and ate it at 5:30 because they took their time. We got a notification that our food was delivered but we didn't have it and when we called the number it was the wrong one. They then called us and told us that they were doing "food inspections" and it'd be with us in 30 minutes. They didn't inspect it. My friend ordered food at the same time and when asked the driver said he had no other orders, just to sit in his car for 5 mins and call and say that he is here with the food, I watched him do this... butter chicken was half oil, a third onions floating on oil and the rest just a disappointing excuse of what can be called liquid butter chicken, garlic nann bread was burnt, and they gave us a sauce that smelt artificial. I was hungry and when I ate it I wasn't hungry anymore, destroyed my appetite after 2 bites of pure oil. If you want to be disappointed and raise your cholesterol order from here. Its a scam and I know they don't eat here on their break. getting 1 star cuz i cant give them no stars
