26/04/2025: Nice place. A good cheaper alternative compared to other Indian restaurants in Dublin. In particular, the offer of a starter and main course for €25 until 7:30 p.m. made the price attractive. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is a bit bland and monotonous. Nevertheless, the food was really tasty. Price-performance is therefore quite fair for Dublin, especially with the offer

03/04/2025: Oh well... The restaurant was clean, but the chairs and the guest toilet were tattered. The food didn't blow me away. It was ok. However, the service was nice, courteous and attentive.

04/05/2025: I ordered my usual butter chicken and egg fried rice last night. Not sure what I received and had to recheck my order to make sure I hadn't ordered the wrong food. It was completely different, the look, smell, texture and most importantly the taste. New recipe? New chef? Is this a once off or permanently the new butter chicken? I'm hoping it's a once off as I wouldn't be ordering this dish again and after trying all the Indians in Galway, Curry & Spice was always my favourite.

12/04/2025: We were regulars to this place as the food was really good and close to authentic in Galway. But recently the standard has gone down a lot. We ordered the usual favourites today and it was not good at all, felt like old food, taste not as good as before, burnt and small sized naans. Just overall disappointing. I hope they go back to their earlier quality or they will lose customers.

18/02/2025: I just do not understand the good reviews, every dish in this place is made with Campbells tomato soups. It’s so obvious. We accidentally ordered from here after avoiding it for years and lo and behold it was just soup with chicken lumps. Don’t bother. There is another local Indian that is so good we have ordered two nights in a row.

13/05/2025: Mixed bag. Butter chicken is the best! Nan can be great one night, stale the next. Always like the atmosphere here. Go on quiet nights, you'll have a wonderful night out! However, beware the busy nights: they are nearly always under-staffed and you'll wait a long time for takeouts with your food then lukewarm. Floor service suffers too on busy nights. I know some (more knowledgeable) Indian customers have complained about the food but we've always been very happy with the Biryani and the Butter Chicken and we go there about once a month. Btw, the manager could do with handling complaints a bit better.

21/04/2025: The chef lacks expertise in preparing Indian cuisine, and the waitstaff is equally uninformed, displaying arrogance when politely questioned. Notably, the chef confused Paneer Butter Masala with Paneer Tikka Masala, and both the chef and waiter insisted that Paneer Tikka Masala should be sweet, even adding sugar to the dish. Their misunderstanding of basic Indian dishes is astonishing. Paneer Tikka Masala should have a spicy kick (adjustable to taste) with grilled paneer pieces. Instead, we were served a creamy, sweet, orange liquid with soft paneer. My son humorously remarked that he’d need to eat the dish prepared correctly at least 50 times to erase the memory of this culinary disaster.

12/04/2025: I would like to share my experience from today at Bollywood Temple Restaurant in Shannon. We were a group of four and had ordered Paneer Karahi, Adraki Mushroom, four coriander garlic naans, and rice. Unfortunately, when the food was served and we began eating, we realized that what was supposed to be Paneer was actually chicken. This was especially disappointing as we had specifically planned to eat vegetarian today in observance of Human Jayanti. We immediately informed the staff, and while they did offer to replace the dish, the replacement unfortunately lacked flavor and was quite unsatisfying. Feeling disheartened, we decided to stop eating and headed to the counter to settle the bill. The gentleman at the counter was polite and understanding—he initially said we didn’t need to pay, but we insisted since the food had been served. Eventually, he offered a 50% discount, which we accepted. While we appreciated the gesture at the end, the overall experience was very disappointing. As a regular customer, I had always enjoyed dining here, but after this incident, I don’t think I’ll be returning or recommending the place to others. It’s unfortunate that such a trusted spot let us down on a day that was especially meaningful to us.

23/11/2024: I worked making deliveries on 10/28 and to this day they have not paid me. I send messages and they don't respond. Unfortunately I have to follow the protocol of the application which is to wait (Gigable). I hope you pay as soon as possible.

24/04/2025: As an Indian vegan, I am limited for options in most places considering they add dairy and don’t necessarily understand the diet. Tadka House is my go-to because you can “make it vegan” for various dishes. It’s hot, delicious and always on time. Love it

13/04/2025: Food is much too sweet. Too much oil. Service, gluten was mixed up with other orders. Atmosphere is ok but the door keeps opening and doesn't get closed sometimes and you either get up and close it or you freeze eating your food. We won't go back.

18/04/2025: Everything was so delicious. My preferences were followed, and the prawn masala was delicious as well as the pilau rice. I ordered online for pick up and it was quickly ready. The man upfront was also very kind. Definitely recommend if you want some flavorful fresh food in this area.

14/02/2025: Use these a lot for take-away. Today is Valentine's Day and they had an offer on for 15% off. We decided to use them. It's now not even 7pm and I've received an email to say the offer is so popular it's cancelled. Should have just converted it to a voucher that could be used over the next week, they would still have got our custom - now they won't...

16/05/2025: We didn't expect to find a Pakistani restaurant of this quality in Tipperary, in a neighborhood without any particular charm. We should especially note the simple kindness of the service, the clarity of the explanations required by a rather varied menu, the exceptional quality of the dishes served, particularly in terms of the meats used (chicken and lamb). Ultimately, the memory of a very unexpected gastronomic evening.

19/04/2025: Amazing food, we had the sizzling tandoori share platter to start, that was a meal in itself (but ohh so delicious!) Mains of makahni chicken and chicken tikka, both beautifully cooked the chicken very tender - garlic nan as side. Our second visit - and we will certainly be back. I never write a review after a first visit (unless it was shocking which is thank fully VERY rare) But this place was just as good as our first visit, busy spot with alot of people collecting takeouts - Fantastic service too!

29/03/2025: Has never disappointed. I always order the madras, which is perfect balance of spiciness and flavour. Whether its for pick up or dine in, always met with a warm smile and pleasant conversation. Thank you!

16/03/2025: Couldn't in good conscience recommend here. We ordered chicken Korma, butter chicken and pilau rice. We received regular boiled rice which was fine but the curries... were not curries. The korma was an off white colour and tasted of cream while the butter chicken was a pale orange colour that again tasted solely of cream. Both had maybe 7 small stripes of chicken that had zero flavour. Almost €45 for completely inedible food!

09/09/2024: Toilets were an absolute disgrace, I have seen ones in better condition in nightclubs at 3am. Completely flooded toilet paper everywhere, bins overflowing weren't cleaned id say in weeks. Another review said the same 3 months ago! Would strongly question how clean the kitchen is if that's the pride they take in the bathrooms. The Restaurant is like something out of kitchen nightmares flooring is peeling off the ground my foot sank into a floorboard going to the toilet. Couldn't have spent a euro on the place in years. Prices are very expensive for the state of the place, McDonald's genuinely looks better. However the food was very nice and service was good.

06/09/2024: We visited this restaurant later on a Sunday evening and were quickly greeted, sat, and ordered. The food was fresh and tasty. The portions are fairly large as well. The butter Naan was super fluffy and great for dipping in our sauces! Two of our friends ordered the Mango Lassi and enjoyed that as well.
