14/02/2026: I placed an order which was accepted and marked as in progress, but it was suddenly cancelled after more than 20 minutes. This is completely unacceptable. I relied on this order and wasted a significant amount of time waiting. Because of this cancellation, I then had difficulty ordering food elsewhere. If restaurants are going to cancel orders after accepting them, they should not appear as available on the platform. I expect an explanation and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused.

14/02/2026: AVOID AVOID AVOID Take my advice, go to Tesco around the corner, get the makings of what you want and cook it yourself. It’ll taste much nicer and take less time than ordering from here. The staff are rude, dont pay any attention or have any regard for people standing in front of them. The phone is more important to them. Another gentleman in front of me was half way through ordering and the chap taking orders held his hand up to him as a signal to stop and answered the phone and then proceeded to walk away from the counter. I was waiting 2 hours for 2 meals. Every time I asked where my food which was 5 or 6 times was I was met by “ it’s very busy, I’m only taking orders it’s not my fault.” I was told 10 minutes when I went in first and was stood there for another hour and 50 minutes. I was asked to pay for my food 3 separate times even though I paid for it when I went in. If I would have known the wait time along with the horrible food, I wouldn’t have paid and walked away empty handed. The food that we ordered ( chicken tikka) I wouldn’t give to the dog. Vile isn’t even the word for it. An absolute waste of 36 euro.

25/06/2025: No flavour in one dish and other dish was inedible, like it had gone off! All went in the bin. What a waste of 50 something euro!

22/02/2026: Have ordered before from Spice Cottage and food was always great. But yesterday, we ordered two starters (onion baji and chicken pakura), both were soaking in grease and virtually inedible…we ordered one main (chicken tikka masala with Pilau rice), the rice was the best part!! The Nasn bread was soggy. Feels like a completely different takeaway/chef…reluctant to try again!!!

08/03/2026: Good quality. Wait times can be long, though. The food is a little sweet and choice is somewhat limited, but definitely still tasty enough to go back to. The best in town for what it is. Would recommend.

19/02/2026: Food here is class tikka masala goc nan rice sauces all on point some lad behind the counter doh is a bit ignorant until I told him keep the change he had less of an attitude then but I would definitely return

20/02/2026: This is the worst place to get food. The chicken was completely raw. The food was cold. The staff was very bold and ignorant. I wasn’t happy with the chicken being raw so the called the guards it is absolutely ridiculous to be running a business the way they do with my knowledgeable comment, please I advise nobody to ever go there.

22/03/2026: After a customer witnessed staff members bullying and elderly gentleman. Taunting him asking him was he the man that was found down by the river.. They were laughing at him and mocking him. Shame on them. Support Irish businesses from now on.

26/02/2026: Ok, so, we arrived and it was fairly busy, we got a table for two, although the woman didn't seem happy about it 😂 there was so many tables that should have been cleared but were lying full of spilled food and dishes. We ordered our food, which included, Shahi Piazza, Moza Koli Special, a side of pilau rice, chips and a pathia sauce. We waited. We discovered there was two peppers on the table and no salt and no salt in view and no staff to ask 😂 The menu also didn't have allergens. The poppadoms were stale. Dips were.... Void of flavour, except the yellow dip which was lovely. The onion dip didn't taste of anything. Mains arrived, in fairness absolutely delicious and would definitely eat them again. The lamb was not BBQd so don't be expecting that. It was thin slices of lamb, braised. We waited for our rice to come. Nothing. No staff. Nothing. They served 3 tables after they had given us food. They still hadn't cleaned the table of 10 which had left next to us. The woman brought us a a random Chapatti, we said we didn't order it but we're waiting for a rice, she said to take it anyway but we can't because we're GF so sent it back. Waiting for the rice. 95% finished, another table is being served and a man approaches with a bowl of pilau, we turned him away, it was too late for rice. 😂 He handed it to another random table instead. If you want good service and cleanliness I wouldn't recommend it. The menu was filthy. They didn't even push chairs in just smashed into them with their food trolley. It was like Fawlty towers but less funny! The Pathia sauce, wasn't like any I've had before but it was absolutely delicious and I'd absolutely recommend it. It's got lentils in it when it's usually more syrupy. So it's more like a Dahl. So that was a nice change. Don't expect 5* service or for them to live up to their awards all over the wall. Filled a gap though which was the main thing!

14/02/2026: Ordered chicken bhuna and lamb korma- very nice, tasty food and big portion. Would give 5 but naan bread was a bit disappointing- will come back- specialy for korma👍🏻I’m changing my review after I think third time we ordered for take away, we were given time of collection and looong after food is not ready, its a last time im ordering here. I dont feel like sitting in the waiting area 60 min after collectinon time🥲Lack of organisation or communication. Food is nice but you just sit and wait

19/12/2025: Our experience at Bombay Palace was very disappointing. On our first night, we had to order takeout due to an emergency. The next night, when we returned, the staff told us we could only sit if we were ordering a full meal. When we tried to order starters for one person, they refused and insisted we order a main course if we are dining in. The manager/owner then spoke to us in Hindi in an offensive manner, despite no such rules being mentioned on the menu. We ended up paying a tip equal to our bill. As a Canadian who has traveled widely, I’ve never experienced such poor customer service. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming.

02/03/2026: Avoid. Ordered dinner for the family through the website. Took payment. Food never arrived. Couldn't get through on the phone, either rang out or was off the hook.

10/03/2026: Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered at 6:40 PM and the food only arrived at 8:40 PM — nearly a 2-hour wait for a delivery just 5 km away. The estimated time was 7:40 PM, but after that there were no updates at all. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times using the number on the app, but every call went straight to voicemail. No response, no communication, nothing. After waiting that long, the food itself was also very disappointing and not worth the wait. This was my first order from this restaurant and definitely the last. No customer should have to deal with this kind of service.

14/02/2026: Absolutely horrible. I put in an order for delivery using their website and it never came. I called and they were no help whatsoever. Now I’m out 40 quid. Cannot recommend.

03/11/2025: A very tasty, wholesome Indian meal. Opted for vegetable biriani and wasn’t disappointed.

26/10/2025: Nice food, staff member very friendly. The place is very plain, not exactly Indian in appearance. Sharing stater for 2 would have fed 4 but meals we got were tasty and spicy.

21/03/2026: This was the second time we got food here and neither times the experience was great. Ordered takeaway. Got it in a timely manner as they were busy. The food on the other hand, not a vegetable in sight, dry rice, about 4 pieces of chicken in a adult portion with a litre of sauce. All the dishes taste the same, bland and no flavour to them. Spend over €60 on 2 adult meals, a kids meal and 2 nan breads (which were the only nice thing). Unfortunately it was a huge waste of money.

19/03/2026: Food is always top class, and the staff are attentive and genuinely helpful. The Jalfrezi and Peshwari naan are my go-to every time — absolutely spot on. The restaurant itself is spotless. 10/10.
