03/04/2024: Orders 2 items , lamb saag and chicken tandoori wrap. I'll comment on the second item Only -GARBAGE. you will see on pictures but| chicken lime a saw dust aka frozen stuff, dough / wrap was uncooked, no freaking tiikka taste and all inside was mushy and horrible. NEVER AGAIN.
01/04/2024: Very poor quality.
After the first disappointing took it another chance but it was even worse.
Big chunks of raw onion in the sauce, under cooked potatoes and tough lamb. The food itself tasted like reheated from previous day.
From the whole order only rice was ok.
Will not go again.

25/02/2024: Excellent Indian food. I've had a lot of Indian takeaways before that were greasy and had a small portion size, but this certainly wasn't one. The curry had excellent flavour, not too greasy, was a good portion size with plenty of meat, and had high quality ingredients.
31/01/2024: Order chicken makanwala so tasteless and lamb biryani was just they add rice in curry. So disappointed. I always ordered food from them but this time it’s tasteless and price is sky high. Never go again.

15/03/2024: Placed an order. It was delayed 90mins instead of promised 45 minutes and their delivery man was rude and wanted me to collect order at the door in 2mins and couldn't wait for 5 mins for me to come down from 3rd floor and then left the order at wrong door. Big 0 points for Customer care ..Food prices were little expensive .

30/03/2024: Booked in for dinner for 7pm. We ordered a starter and mains. At about 8:15 we finished our mains and the waitress asked us to leave the table and finish our drinks at the tiny bar beside the door where people collect their takeaways. At that point we only had finished our mains for like 2 -3 minutes. I found that extremely rude especially as we were sitting at the bar and no one else took our table during that time. I thought it was rude and uncalled for. Won't be coming back.
13/03/2024: Lovely meal on Sunday. We were lucky to get a table without a booking. Really enjoyed my food.

13/02/2024: One of the nicest Indian restaurants in limerick city. I’ve been to Bambu several times, and I’ve always been satisfied.
Beef bhuna is my new favorite; cooked beef with a nice sauce and vegetables. Rice with mushroom has to be the best rice dish I’ve had so far; very light and rich in flavor.
Chicken tikka massala is highly recommended tho.. it’s a popular and safe option.
30/01/2024: Love the sweet and sour chicken from here - it's just delicious. I have been buying it to eat in and take out for around 14 years now. I did find that the old Bambu - when it was part of Texas Steakout - had a better atmosphere, I used to eat in there regularly. I have not yet eaten in its new location but the food is still the same great quality.

10/12/2023: We get a takeaway nearly every week. The food is so fresh and the chicken is really good quality. We love the puri chicken, chicken bhuna and chilli garlic chicken.
They are great and will make your dish the way you like it. Such as adding more chilli's.
23/09/2023: Place was nice first time visit to Dundalk too. Restaurant was neat and Clean . Staff was nice too not too friendly but still smiling which was good. Food was nice too and fresh. Quality was also ok. We got Chicken Pakora for starters which were i think the best in the things we ordered. Nan was also nice. Pilau Rice was as Per standard ok. Lamb Saag was nice and Ok. Lamb Karahi was ok but not great. Over All Food was nice and well worth visiting the place. All the scenery and restaurants atmosphere was nice. And the Staff were professional too

08/03/2024: Indian food is my favorite. This though is the worst I have eaten in the 40 years I have been indulging. I tried a few take aways which were not nice when opened first a few months ago. Ordered to see if any improvement, but the food is shocking, as if they are winding down, and don't care.

11/03/2024: I ordered veg biryani. It didn't even taste like biryani and was more like pulav. They gave some tomato puree type gravy with it. There was no raita served with biryani and when I asked for it.. they gave a small bowl of raita (with weird taste) and charged me extra £4.50 for that.
Not a great experience overall. 😕
