16/03/2025: Was looking forward to trying based on reviews and travelled nearly an hour but was extremely disappointed. Watery oily tasteless gravy. Meat was dry. Naan was from a packet and reheated in the microwave.

15/02/2025: Decided to give it a try after driving past it many times. Hate writing a bad review when restaurants are struggling, especially in provincial towns, away from big city centres, but this was one of the worst meals I have had in a long time. Tandoori Chicken starter was tasteless. Samosa was frozen. possibly from Aldi across the road. 2 main courses didn’t improve matters. Pilau rice was microwaved in a pouch. Cannot describe the prawn curry other than to say it came in a Pyrex bowl, and looked like it was four prawns with a jar of something thrown over it. No red wine, coke was flat. Place was freezing. Indian restaurants generally have managed to retain some degree of authenticity and craft when compared to their Chinese counterparts, but I am afraid New Moon is bucking that trend. Terrible experience.

22/03/2025: I wouldn’t bother with this place again. When my friend and I visited, the atmosphere here was non existent, the food was quite tasteless and the service was just hit and miss. The waiter was untidy looking and made no effort to greet us. He just pointed us to a table and put menus in front of us without saying a word. The restaurant itself is quite small and could really do with some facelifting, as it looks very tired. The menu was varied, so we felt that this was promising, but what we got definitely tasted bland and reheated. We just had one course and decided to leave. This took a while, as we had a long wait for the waiter to reappear so we could request a bill. Another wait before we could pay, as he was also dealing with take away orders coming in on the phone. This restaurant definitely does not live up to its name, as the food was anything but spicy. A disappointment.

15/05/2025: I had a kebab tray, no chips, just meat and salad. Best kebab tray in Drogheda. No other place gives so many veggies in a salad. Usually you get lettuce and onion. Here you will get lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions and green chilli peppers in brine. Portion was too big for me, and I'm a big lad who usually orders extra meat. Man serving the food was bang on. Friendly, with a sense of humour. I have a new kebab place in Drogheda.

03/05/2025: Worst place ever avoid was stuck in traffic behind mr. Kebab and the delivery driver spilt the big bucket of mayo on the floor and took off his sandal and scooped the mayo back into the tub dirty dirty people never again

25/05/2025: Hi I got a takeout from here this evening. It was cold over cooked, got lamb rogan Josh and a coconut beef curry, a few bit of meat and a consistency of liquid. In the beef curry. No veg no thick sauce disgusting. Veg pakora and chips were over cooked. Everything was cold and ordered through Uber eats, it was late. I’m so disappointed.

16/05/2025: I ordered tandoori Butter chicken and its just water and colour and it was tasteless and not worth for the money and the other dish that i ordered was vegetable korma and it was extremely sweet and watery. It was completely a waste of money. At least try to serve a quality food for the customers. Really bad experience

03/05/2025: Myself and my partner and 2year old eat here last night we were the only one there food was really bad starters were frozen tick with grease mains were horrible I cut in to a pizza ce of chicken and it was black never again €70 we had to get food els were as we were afraid to eat the food this place really needs to up there game

23/03/2025: Food is always Delicious but there must be a different cook .got take away last night and it's not the same ,not good. Just didn't taste as nice ,there were chunks of under cooked peppers in my food , there's never peppers in this dish.pilau rice was sticky and luke warm.Not the usual gorgeous food we are used to from voujon.

18/03/2025: Very Very poor, zilch flavour, stale tough chicken, such a pity in a prime location in Tramore with car park opposite should be fabulous but needs spicing up a lot

16/10/2024: Ordered chicken tikka masala sauce along with Chicken Jalfrezi , chicken Jalfrezi was ok to taste but chicken tikka masala sauce was a disaster. It tasted like condensed milk with a very thin texture , coloured pink . Never had such a bad tasting chicken tikka sauce from any Indian restaurants in Dublin or Wicklow. They should really rethink about this dish in their menu

29/04/2025: Me and my husband dinned here last night what a hidden gem the staff were amazing we had korma pilau rice garlic naan and poppadoms the food was unreal and authentic the service was amazing will definitely be back 😀

21/04/2025: Very Disappointed!!! If you are looking for authentic Indian food then this is NOT the place. They didn't have paneer, said they don't keep Indian cheese. Surprisingly, they don't have desserts either. We ordered fish tandoori and they got us tandoori salmon but it tasted good. The quantity and quality of biryani was too low. It was full of chicken pieces only, had to look for rice. Veg platter quantity was too less, it's only for one person and the onion bhaji was half cooked. Would never visit again!!

02/04/2025: Placed a takeaway order, when driving in they called to say they were too busy and could I wait longer or accept a refund. Accepted the refund option. Then received a call about 2 hours later to say the food was ready, fair enough we all make mistakes, but explained it to the restaurant about the refund and they said refund would be sorted out, 4 days later there is still no refund!!

22/04/2025: —Walked in, asked for table for 1 —Server tried to make me sit in a sad, pathetic spot stuck between the kitchen and the bathroom. —The restaurant was not busy and it was well past the dinner rush time. I asked if I could sit at one of the several open tables closer to the window. —server said no, that’s for couples or groups. —I pointed out there was no one in there, and asked if the table was reserved — server said no, but it doesn’t matter. My Only option was to sit in the corner. —I walked out.

13/04/2025: No auténtico en absoluto, comida cara, antipática y horrible. Tenemos una comida para llevar de MEDIO pollo tandoori para un plato principal y 2 curry. El tandoori de MEDIO pollo era de DOS patas muy pequeñas cortadas en 4 trozos así que obtuvimos DOS PALILLOS diminutos y 2 de los MUSLOS más pequeños que es todo, NO MEDIO POLLO. Eran de color Marrón pálido y poco auténticos, de ninguna manera se hacía en horno tandoor, asquerosos, y en cuanto a los currys, la base era exactamente la misma entre sí aparte de que en uno de ellos le agregaban copos de chile y en el otro le agregaban cebolla. Se suponía que eran 2 currys totalmente diferentes. Todos dejamos la mayor parte. Solíamos conseguir una salida cada semana desde aquí, pero comenzó a bajar cuesta abajo hace un tiempo, así que se detuvo. Lo cambié recientemente y nunca volvería aquí de nuevo. EVITAR EVITAR EVITAR
