24/05/2025: The pepperoni pizza was of really good quality. As the pizza sauce had a nice, smoky flavour, which I liked. They weren't mean with the toppings, as there was plenty of cheese and pepperoni on my 10 inch pizza. The pizza was delivered on time and the two ladies delivering also were really kind, as they were smiling, which means that they have good service. I gave 0 starts for the atmosphere, as I got delivery and I haven't actually been to the restaurant, which will be unfair to rate it, so I just left it at 0 stars.

28/06/2025: New owners food is not at the same standard as previous owners, either is the staff or service. I ordered 5 meals plus nan breads and extra side dishes. Only 3 off the meals were edible. I was very disappointed as the food has always been very tasty and enjoyable to eat. Iv used this indian for over 3 years, once a week but I won't use if anymore due to the cost & standard of the food we received the last few times iv used it.

22/06/2025: It was delicious. we ordered takeaway and when it arrived it was hot so that’s another positive thing as well.

12/07/2025: Lovely hotel. Unfortunately no EV charger on site. No USB points in room. No air con in room but you could open the window. really nice food. Irish or continental breakfast options available. Very helpful staff. Also has Curry House restaurant on site which is reasonably priced. Wheelchair accessible parking at front door. Hotel is wheelchair accessible. Bank, chemist and shop just a two minute walk away. We enjoyed our stay and will come back.

23/06/2025: Absolute health hazard sign. Chicken Tikka Shashlik was hard on outside (definitely frozen meat that was thawed) and was raw inside. Absolutely no flavour(same with the Tikka Masala). Ridiculous amount of artificial food colouring ( you could just tell it was artificial and not Kashmiri Chilli powder) on both the dishes so much so that the red stain/colour is stuck on my fingers. The sauce of the Tikka masala was just some fake red sweet sauce tossed with cubes of raw chicken with no seasoning. You guys charge the same amount as any Indian place and you can't prepare a decent food for the price you charge. Have some basic ethics goddammit!! Was disheartened to throw the food in the bin. Waste of resources and waste of money!! Shame on you guys!!

31/05/2025: The delivery took more than 2 hours. Their website was showing the delivery at 16:15 but the restaurant do not start before 5pm.

20/03/2025: I didn't find the staff very friendly, while we were paying he answered the phone instead of dealing with us first..

23/02/2025: good chicken not processed. Had house spice chicken no flavour and no thick sauce.

09/03/2025: We ordered a takeaway away yesterday , it took over 1 hr and 45 mins to get to us. The delivery driver was lovely and very apologetic , the kebab was amazing but the chips cheese and coleslaw was not good, chips were only half cooked and most were inedible. 6 euro for delivery when it took that long wasn't really fair.

10/06/2025: Love it!! The biryani has carrots and cashews in it which adds a nice bite to it! Absolutely delicious!

08/07/2025: This is a lovely restaurant in Galway. I missed having momo with my best friend who is from Nepal. He would make them at his house and we’d buy them in Queens. This was the only place I could find momo in Galway. It’s not quite as spicy as Nepali flavors but it is very tasty.

01/07/2025: I Went this restaurant with my family for dinner and found the best place to have testy meal ever. if you like best test of Asian food with quiet and friendly environment, it’s worth to visit. Very friendly and professional staffs and manager, peaceful and cheerful atmosphere. We Enjoyed the food and Highly recommended.

06/07/2025: Best Indian food in Waterford!!!!! Very reasonably priced! Way better than cafe goa or peppers… give them a skip and come here to New Kashmiri in Coffee house lane

09/07/2025: The two young gentleman serving/hosting lacked a sense of urgency, they were standing there talking for 20 minutes before we even got a water, and I had to ask him AGAINA. My friend and I were asking questions about the menu, and he had no idea what we were asking, seems like he needs to familiarize himself with what he’s serving. He was also extremely rude, made a smart comment when my friend simply asked a question, I will never be back. Food was amazing, server ruined the entire dinner.

02/06/2025: It's been a while since we ordered Indian take away. Went for the 'meal for two' deal. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Order was over an hour to arrive, dishes were cold and the starters and breads were wet after sitting in foil packaging for however long. Rice was cold also. Had to ping everything in the microwave.

28/02/2025: Absolutely Indian dishes from them rock the delicious and melt-in-your-mouth shrimp in the Jalfrezi dish. I fully recommend, regards LW

06/06/2025: What a terrible experience! The staff were extremely unwelcoming. We ordered a set meal that included a starter, a main course, and a dessert. The starter portions were ridiculously small—just a tiny piece of each item. The main course was also disappointing, with barely any meat in the dish; it was mostly sauce. And for dessert, there was no choice at all—just ice cream. We considered ordering an extra dessert, but after checking the menu, we found nothing interesting—and none of the options were Indian, which was surprising. To make matters worse, the cutlery were extremely old and poorly cleaned, which made the whole experience feel even more unpleasant. When my ice cream arrived, they gave me a teaspoon to eat it, showing a total lack of attention to detail from the staff. As for the food itself, it was overly sweet and completely lacking in seasoning—nothing like authentic Indian cuisine. Honestly, it was the worst restaurant meal I've ever had. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and decent service.

06/06/2025: I had high hopes for Shanai, given its promise of authentic Indian flavours, but unfortunately, the experience fell flat. The food was underwhelming – lacking the bold spices and richness you’d expect from Indian cuisine. Dishes tasted bland and uninspired, missing the depth and warmth that define a good Indian meal. Service was equally lacklustre, with staff seeming disengaged and the overall atmosphere failing to make up for the culinary shortcomings. Compared to other Indian restaurants in Dublin that deliver on both flavour and hospitality, Shanai simply doesn’t hold up. If you’re looking for an authentic and flavourful Indian dining experience, there are certainly better options elsewhere in the city.

22/06/2025: Ordered delivery. Expected to wait 40 min but arrived in half the time, a wonderful surprise. We ordered the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, and samosas. All were decent sized portions which filled us up. Favorite dish was the tandoori chicken (I wish we got a second order of this instead of the butter chicken). The dishes also came with different chutneys (tamarind, mint, yogurt & cucumber) and we liked all. Only critique is more chicken would have been nice in the butter chicken. Will be ordering again!

07/06/2025: Have been ordering from Spice Cove for years. Never had a bad meal. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Saag and the Shashi Mugh. And the kebabs. Wow!!!
