10/07/2026: We got the veggie set menu for 2 and we were really pleasantly surprised with how good it was. The pakora and samosa were delicious! The sag aloo was fantastic, naan was good, balti was delicious and so was the korma - I don’t understand a lot of the other reviews complaining about the korma having ‘too much coconut and almond’ we thought it was delicious and thankfully not too sweet! We got a takeaway as we were too late to eat in any of the local pubs etc - for €30 for the two of us we really couldn’t fault it - loads of food and we thought it was all lovely!

06/08/2026: Delicious food, quick service, and kind wait staff. We had the chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, and chana masala, and enjoyed each dish. This place should be more busy!

26/07/2026: I went to Doolally last, 3 years ago and at that time the experience was amazing. We came back yesterday and we were disappointed. The atmosphere and the service were good as usual and there is nothing to fault The sharing platter we ordered has few bites, so tiny and they were okay, but we wouldn't order it again. We took two chicken mains, one bhindi and one lamb dish. The bhuna ghost was delicious. The korma was okay, but on the sweeter side. The murgh tikka masala and the bhindi though were very dry and strong on the masala. The bhindi was still raw and crunchy. The garlic naan, was delicious and it really saved the meal. But for 40€ each we would have expected more.

24/03/2026: Ordered takeaway through the chutni website.. Food was ready by the time we arrived ... Good taste and affordable price rate.. Ordered chicken malai kebab, butter chicken , chilli chicken, lamb dun biriyani & chicken dum biriyani.... Butter chicken and the biriyanis were perfect flavours and all of enjoyed the taste.. spices were up to the mark... Chilli chicken was okay but the kebab was a bit salty.. did not reach our expectation and taste...

31/07/2026: A truly positive surprise: not the restaurant itself, but the wonderful meal of sea bass on perfectly seasoned vegetables, with shrimp as a side dish, was absolutely fantastic. Followed by a generously filled glass of whiskey, it was probably the best dining experience I've had in Ireland, and very reasonably priced to boot. Highly recommended; many thanks to the kitchen and staff. Michael

24/07/2026: We had originally planned to go to Behive. But strangely, it was still closed at dinnertime. We were glad we did, though, because the food was delicious, the service was friendly, it was quick, and the garden was just the right temperature.

25/07/2026: Food was very tasty and service was great l. But the portion sizes are quite small for how expensive the mains are. The rice and naan are very cheap and tasty for only €2-3 but each main is like €16 euro minimum for fairly small portions that dont come with rice. We got free popadoms and sides for free which was very nice!!

17/06/2026: This is my most visited place in Ireland and I would love to keep coming. The atmosphere is excellent, the service is excellent and most importantly the food is out of the world. Extremely tasty and delicious always. The owner Sam is very friendly. They have a new branch opened in Swinford as well and the place is no less if not better. I would highly recommend this place for authentic Indian food in Ireland.

08/08/2026: Spent €45 on a takeaway from this restaurant for the first time. They charged us €6.80 for FOUR small bits of chicken pakora!! Ordered 2 portions of chips at the cost of over €7 and they only gave us one portion and even then it looked like a half portion at best not to mention not even cooked properly. Even the Tikka Masala and Korma looked like half portions. Sorry but for this amount of money id expect a hell of a lot better. Will definitely not be back to this place!!!

25/06/2026: Unfortunately it was not a good experience, food was way too salty and meat was colourful outside uncooked inside. Probably will try again after some time and see if anything changes.
