23/02/2026: Great little cafe! The coffee was really good and the lunch was delicious (jacket potato and cajun chicken) Staff were super friendly even though they were clearly very busy. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. My daughter got an açai bowl and loved it. Will definitely return

17/01/2026: We've eaten out of here for as long as I can remember. For the last while everything seems to have changed a lot. While some of the food is still quite tasty, some meals have gone quite bland (chicken madras being one of them) The price changes have raised a lot and It seems they're going up all the time. There's not even any dips with poppadoms anymore. I'm not sure if it's been taken over. It's really disappointing because we would have normally eaten here every week but unfortunately it's no longer possible. I understand prices have gone up across the board but it seems prices here are constantly going up and like mentioned above, taking away some condiments when increasing prices is a little disappointing.

09/01/2026: From the iced water to the after eights offered with the bill, this was a delightful experience. The food was excellent, tasty and well cooked. Service was very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend having a meal here.

01/03/2026: We occasionally order takeaway from this place, and not once has the food been delivered on time or without us having to make additional calls to the restaurant. We have never waited less than two hours for our food, and it usually arrives cold. If you want Indian food for dinner, I strongly recommend ordering it at breakfast time — hopefully it will arrive by dinner!

22/02/2026: We have been getting take away from Peppers for years now and I just wanted to say that the quality and service has never faulted. The food is always fresh and arrives hot when we get it delivered. The chicken jalfrezi is very very good. The flavours are amazing and the peppers not over cooked. The best Indian restaurant in Waterford by far.

24/03/2026: Ordered takeaway through the chutni website.. Food was ready by the time we arrived ... Good taste and affordable price rate.. Ordered chicken malai kebab, butter chicken , chilli chicken, lamb dun biriyani & chicken dum biriyani.... Butter chicken and the biriyanis were perfect flavours and all of enjoyed the taste.. spices were up to the mark... Chilli chicken was okay but the kebab was a bit salty.. did not reach our expectation and taste...

20/02/2026: I’ve been a regular customer at Chutni Take Away for quite some time, mainly because their previous menu was absolutely full of flavour and variety. It was honestly one of the best in town, and that’s what kept me coming back two or three times a week. It genuinely stood out from other takeaways. Unfortunately, since the menu change, the experience hasn’t been the same. The new menu feels very limited, and the dishes lack the bold flavours that made this place stand out before. It feels a bit bland and less exciting compared to what it used to be. I truly hope the management considers bringing back some of the old favourites or expanding the menu again, because this place had something really special. I’d love to become a regular customer again.

03/12/2025: Fake indian restaurant. Don't even know how to make aloo jeera. I said my mom had a fast please give me boiled potato with salt and cumin and no other spices. they said they can only make whats in the menu. Aaloo jeera was in the menu. 🤦

14/02/2026: Went in here this evening to get a takeaway. Ordered at 5:30pm and it was confirmed to be done at 6.01pm. I know places can be delayed and have to wait a few minutes more but this was ridiculous. We were barely approached about how long our order was going to be after being told on the website it was ready. It was nearly an hour later and I had to go up to someone with all these orders on a table and ask what was going on and he said oh it’s here after I told him what we ordered. So it seemed it was just waiting on the table? No communication between staff falling all over each other and no apology for making us wait nearly an hour only a can of Fanta. I understand it’s valentines Day evening and busy but cut off takeaway for a bit if they can’t keep up The food was also not good, cold bland and thrown together after spending over €60 as well. Save yourself and go to the likes of Spice Temple, much better food and service. No impressed and will not being going back or recommend.

11/01/2026: I had ordered lamb Rogan Josh , Butter chicken, Chicken biryani for take away. Lamb Rogan josh was a joke , “chef” just added boiled lamb chunks into Tomato purée , one could see tomato purée clearly floating. There seems to be no effort to cook rogan josh as tomato purée was visible. Disappointing ! Butter chicken can be used as a desert - it was so sweet !! Chicken Biryani was below average. I had ordered for the first time after seeing the outlet in Naas but the food is disappointing .
