22/08/2025: We celebrated our son’s first birthday at Masoori Restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were very polite and helpful.
A special mention to the head chef and honour Surender Uncle – he was truly awesome and made our celebration even more memorable.
Highly recommend this place!

Spicy Bite
Dublin
01/06/2025: Fresh , hot , tasty .
€15 for food , coke and excellent garlic naan. Can't go wrong!
20/05/2025: Unpleasant experience. The open buffet system for €13.50 per person for 40 minutes sounds attractive at first glance, but the reality was different. The staff seemed unfriendly and watched guests critically while they ate. Despite the open buffet system, the amount of food was rather small, especially the meat dishes, which consisted mainly of bones and fat. The atmosphere was unpleasant, and the value for money was not right. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Shanai
Dublin
07/09/2025: Best Authentic Indian Restaurant in Dublin without a doubt ! The food is packed with real flavors — fresh naan, perfectly spiced curries, and a biryani that’s full of aroma, my favourite is “Mixed Biriyani”. Nothing feels watered down, it’s true Indian cooking done right. The staff are warm, friendly, and always happy to recommend dishes. Great portions, fair prices, and a cozy atmosphere. If you love genuine Indian food, this is the place to go if you’re around South Dublin!
06/06/2025: What a terrible experience! The staff were extremely unwelcoming.
We ordered a set meal that included a starter, a main course, and a dessert. The starter portions were ridiculously small—just a tiny piece of each item. The main course was also disappointing, with barely any meat in the dish; it was mostly sauce. And for dessert, there was no choice at all—just ice cream.
We considered ordering an extra dessert, but after checking the menu, we found nothing interesting—and none of the options were Indian, which was surprising.
To make matters worse, the cutlery were extremely old and poorly cleaned, which made the whole experience feel even more unpleasant. When my ice cream arrived, they gave me a teaspoon to eat it, showing a total lack of attention to detail from the staff.
As for the food itself, it was overly sweet and completely lacking in seasoning—nothing like authentic Indian cuisine. Honestly, it was the worst restaurant meal I've ever had.
I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and decent service.

Bisini
Ballina
29/07/2025: We were on our holidays in Ballina and decided to get an Indian takeaway. Going on reviews on Tripadvisor we went with Bisini. I don't know what the people who reviewed this were eating but our experience was awful. The onion bajani were burnt and the food was awful. We would never again go back!

Kashmir
Galway
09/09/2025: Review of Kashmir Restaurant (Galway)
As someone who travels often and makes it a point to try Indian food wherever I go—be it London, Bristol, Bath, Oxford, Nottingham, Edinburgh, or most recently Galway—I had high hopes for Kashmir, given its reputation.
I’ll start with the positives. On arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff, which set a pleasant tone for the evening. Their friendliness deserves full marks.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was less satisfying. We were seated by the window, which seemed like a good spot at first. However, due to a pillar blocking visibility, the waiting staff (just two covering the whole floor) couldn’t see us. This meant I had to repeatedly lean over, wave, and even stand up at times just to get their attention. Naturally, this disrupted the flow of the meal and left me feeling overlooked.
As for the food, I ordered the Kadhai Paneer. What arrived, however, didn’t resemble the dish I know and love. The paneer had the Taste of tofu, lacking the fresh softness, rich flavor that makes paneer special. The curry base itself tasted more like pumpkin purée (old Indian practise of making a cheap Indian curry) than the tomato-forward gravy expected in a Kadhai Paneer. Sadly, it reminded me more of hostel food than a restaurant meal.
Overall, the combination of inattentive service (albeit due to understaffing and layout issues) and disappointing food made for an underwhelming experience which I paid more that I paid in global cities like London. I genuinely hope the restaurant pays more attention to consistency in both service and authenticity in flavours—especially for diners who come seeking a true taste of Indian cuisine.
06/09/2025: Food was good. I believe service could be improved a little bit. We ordered Paneer Jalfrezi and Paneer Makhani. Note: They don't serve rice with a curry.

The Everest
Westport
20/08/2025: Having read the reviews we decided to try The Everest Restaurant.
Food was as good as you can get and reasonably priced. Service was slow as they were catering for takeaway orders. This can be to your advantage as you can relax, enjoy the ambiance, without being rushed off your table.
We definitely will be back.
16/08/2025: Lovely Restaurant in an old converted church. Well decorated bright interior with beautiful furniture and interesting pictures of Nepal and the Everest and Annapurna region. Staff were lovely but rushed off their feet on a busy Saturday night and it was clearly evident that takeaway orders were being prioritised over dining orders. Having said this food was uniformly delicious. We had onion bhajis which were crisp and generously sized, a butter chicken curry, a Nepalese chicken curry, pilau rice and a garlic naan bread plus some complementary poppadoms. The food was extremely enjoyable and definitely worth waiting for. However, my advice would be to leave plenty of time for your visit as we waited almost an hour for our starter and then it was another 25 minutes before the main course arrived. An alternative might be to try a different night in the week, which would be less busy on the takeaway front.
