25/07/2026: My husband and I had a meal in Copper & Spice and all I can say is wow! The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We ordered the special starter, which was a vegetable pakora served with a yoghurt and mint sauce, and it was incredible – so full of flavour and unlike anything we’ve had before. Our main courses were equally delicious, with generous portions, and the naan bread was so fresh. What really made the experience even better was the staff. They were so kind, friendly, and full of fun. It was lovely to see them chatting and laughing with customers – it really brought us back to the old days when eating out felt so personal and welcoming. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!

12/07/2026: The takeaway food at Mayur is tasty. The food in the restaurant however is phenomenal. Take my advice. Get a table in the Mayur restaurant. Sit in. Get some wine. Enjoy the food.

08/08/2026: As I arrived in and ordered i notice a dish sitting on the stove in a pan i decided to watch it hopefully that i was not the receiver. Unfortunately the chef added water and something else to the dish and heated the food back up. chicken dish put into the take away box and was handed to me .. I confronted the gentleman at the counter in which he refused to accept what I just witnessed basically calling me a liar. After 5 mins of a putting my argument across he admitted that was the case but saying it was just made before I arrived that the chef made a double portion. He refused to give me my money back saying the chef would make a fresh meal (NO THANK YOU ) Not only are ye conning people giving then reheated meals it's a disgrace calling people liar like butter won't melt in his mouth... NEVER AGAIN WOULD I STEP IN THERE AGAIN

They understood exactly what vegan meant and were really helpful in guiding us through the menu and choosing the vegan options. Everything we had was amazing and we felt very welcome. 29/07/2026: Terrible experience today. I visited this restaurant today and ordered several items, Khas Kebab, veg biryani, saag paneer, and fries. Unfortunately, every single dish was a letdown. The food was completely tasteless, with no salt, no spice, and no balance. The vegetables in the biryani were practically raw, like a mixed salad tossed into oily rice. The Khas Kebab, which is supposed to be their signature item, had no flavour at all. The saag/palak was served first as a strange yellow spinach mix, then replaced with a pot of uncooked palak floating in liquid. Nothing was prepared properly, and the quality was far below acceptable. On top of all this, the prices were extremely high for what was served. I do not recommend this place for anything. Don’t waste your time, money, energy, or mood, it’s not worth a single penny.

08/08/2026: It wasn't a good sign when we got there and it was empty, we sat down and asked for wine and were told they dont have it, only soft drinks or mango lassi. Got the impression the place is mainly for take aways which was confirmed by the stream of people coming in and out. We had some starters but there was no atmosphere so it wasn't what we were looking for and left shortly after. It also felt extra strange when a table walked in 20 mins after us, they asked for wine and the waitress brought it over. I dont know why they chose to do that but the bad table service probably explains the lack of customers!

13/08/2026: On a quiet Thursday afternoon, two of us sat outside in the empty beer garden and ordered a pint each. When the server arrived with our drinks, we were told that they do not serve customers accompanied by dogs—even when seated outside. Very disappointing and a shame for such a central location. So, very much NOT dog friendly.

08/08/2026: Parking is difficult, if not nonexistent. Be careful, you can get a ticket outside the parking area as everything is pay-and-display. It's all mixed together: hotel, pub, and restaurant. Very noisy in the evening. Not ideal when you have a flight the next day. The only advantage of this hotel is the elevator platform; be careful, the floor is unstable. Have it checked.

21/06/2026: Excellent food, great portions, extremely reasonable prices. Also, the folks inside were so nice. Would definitely come back if the commute weren’t thousands of miles! (And may anyway)

20/06/2026: Very disappointed with our takeaway and, unfortunately, this isn’t the first time. We were told the order would be ready in 25 minutes, collected it after 20 minutes and were home within another 5 minutes, so there was no reason for the food to be cold. The aloo pakora, vegetable samosas, chicken chaat and garlic naan were stone cold – not even slightly warm. On a previous order, the butter chicken was also served cold, but I gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was a one-off. Sadly, it has happened again. A takeaway is a treat, and after paying good money you shouldn’t have to reheat freshly prepared food in the microwave before you can eat it. The food itself has good flavour, which makes it even more disappointing, but consistency and serving food at the correct temperature are basic expectations. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback on board because two cold takeaways in a row are simply not acceptable.
