23/02/2025: Just wow!! One of nicest pizzas and kebabs we have ever tried!!

09/12/2024: Very disappointed. No longer any semblance of an Irish chipper. Chips weren't fresh. Come on guy, bad chips?? Cheeseburger was tiny, bland and over-priced at €4.50. The 4-in-1 was under sized, relatively tasteless and dry because there wasn't enough sause included to bind the other ingredients together.....and it cost €8! Bill came to €16.50 for those 3 basic items. Now I understand the name....my cheeseburger was consumed with one "Big Bite". Needless to say, I won't be spending my money there again.

07/03/2025: Had to wait nearly 90 minutes for my food to arrive. When it did arrive I was met with 6 timy pieces of chicken and cold rice. This food cost me €28 along with a naan bread. I don’t mind the wait and price as long as you get decent food. A microwave dinner in Lidl would be more filling and 1/5th of the price. Do better please

15/01/2025: Visited recently and had Roast beef . It was excellent . Food was fresh and fabulous . Potatoes and veg were delicious .Beef was so tender and portion size was very generous . Gravy was nicest I've ever had . Chips served on the side by request and not charged for . Definitely can't wait to visit again

24/12/2024: The worst Indian food I have ever had. Ordered chicken 65 for starters and they gave me a chicken curry and said that is what chicken 65 in that restaurant was. Tried special Biryani. The meat was over cooked and hard. The special Biryani had chickpeas more than rice. D

03/02/2025: Cobra Tandoori in Kinsale is a good alternative to all the restaurants around serving fish and chips mainly, especially when the posher ones are closed for the season. It is cosy, service is friendly and fast. Food is very good. We had a mild chicken curry and a spicy lamb dish, both were very tasty with lots of tender and succulent meat in large portions. Very recommendable and very good value for money.

27/01/2025: Ordered a takeaway on there online system which was fine. Tandoori chicken and out main chicken dishes were low grade/quality. Meat was not good. You know when bite into it..🤮 Chips were dried out and cold. Definitely recooked. And they got out rice orders wrong too. For the price they charge the quality just instead there. I won't be ordering from there again.

06/02/2025: This place has the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever encountered! This was my second time here, and I came in for some Indian tea and a few starters. But the rude guy at the reception—who clearly has no clue how to treat customers—told me I couldn’t sit and eat because my order was too small! He said I could only take it to go. The restaurant was EMPTY, and yet I was treated like this? It’s beyond frustrating! Now I completely understand why the place was so dead. This place doesn’t deserve your time or money—don’t bother coming here. The food is bad, and the service is even worse! Avoid it at all costs!

12/02/2025: We got a takeaway here last Saturday evening. We ordered two mains, one with rice, one chips and some garlic naan bread. First impressions were that it was a little overpriced at over €38 including delivery. we found the food very bland on top of it being just barely warm. Will not be returning.

24/02/2025: Food is always very nice. After getting expensive with smaller portions, plus charges now on poppadoms plus additional charge on poppadom dressings. Place very busy so margins can't be that tight. Will still go but definitely not as often. ☹️☹️

01/02/2025: I have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times but mainly order delivery about once every two to three weeks for the past 6 months. The dishes are consistent in flavour, freshness and deliciousness. If you haven't tried here already, you're missing out. I would recommend the Nariyal Masal or Kozhi Vartha curry, veg samosa and a side of Bombay Aloo. We get this for two people and it's plenty.

09/01/2025: I visited Silver oak after having ordered the food online to collect a take away. I was very enthusiastic and looking forward to ordering food from their. Whereas, the type of service i recieved cannot be catogerized as any service a person should recieve. From not even being talked to and being ignored after asking for the menue 4 times, i was treated as if i was asking for some free food. I think the whole experience hurt me and saddened me deeply to the point where i questioned each meal i had ordered before from the restaurant. Not understanding the reason for the treatment i recieved from the restaurant i slept hungry having some milk and biscuits. The whole experience hurt me deeply

29/12/2024: The food here is good, just normal North Indian food and South Indian curries but the service and atmosphere is great. Very friendly staff and great ambiance makes the dinner worthwhile and the food is good just not anything extra ordinary. Highly recommend for when you’re in Athlone.

01/03/2025: In the 27 years I have lived here, I can honestly say this is the best Indian food I've had. Flavor's were amazing, I had Prawn jalfrazi, the prawns were large and tasted amazing. The korma my daughter had was lovely, and mum had chilli king prawn. Will definitely return, highly recommend

19/02/2025: My family and I visited this elegant Indian restaurant over the Christmas holidays. The restaurant is located in the heart of the city. For starters, we ordered an Assorted Indian snacks. This was scrumptious to say the least. In the mains, we got a Chicken Biryani, two Bombay Aloo’s, a garlic naan, and a cheese & onion naan. Since my partner and I are vegetarian, we chose the Bombay Aloo. This was one of several vegetarian options they had on their menu. We quite liked that they had vegan options as well. The food and service were impeccable. Being of an Indian background, I must say that the quality of their food and the balance of their spices was quite remarkable. It is certainly up there as one of the best Indian restaurants I have dined at outside of India. I would highly recommend this spot to any food lover who cherishes exquisite Indian food. It was worth every penny 😋 You will thank me later!

09/03/2025: Had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The manager refused to serve beverages unless we ordered food, which was unexpected and came across as quite rude. Hospitality and customer service should be a priority, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. Wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

09/09/2024: Toilets were an absolute disgrace, I have seen ones in better condition in nightclubs at 3am. Completely flooded toilet paper everywhere, bins overflowing weren't cleaned id say in weeks. Another review said the same 3 months ago! Would strongly question how clean the kitchen is if that's the pride they take in the bathrooms. The Restaurant is like something out of kitchen nightmares flooring is peeling off the ground my foot sank into a floorboard going to the toilet. Couldn't have spent a euro on the place in years. Prices are very expensive for the state of the place, McDonald's genuinely looks better. However the food was very nice and service was good.

06/09/2024: We visited this restaurant later on a Sunday evening and were quickly greeted, sat, and ordered. The food was fresh and tasty. The portions are fairly large as well. The butter Naan was super fluffy and great for dipping in our sauces! Two of our friends ordered the Mango Lassi and enjoyed that as well.
