29/08/2025: Got a takeaway from Tulsi this evening, second time recently. We had samosas and a balti. Delicious, so flavoursome. Got free popadoms with a lovely homemade mint sauce and onion. Service was great. Had to change the time of our order when plans changed and this was no problem.

22/08/2025: This restaurant is not INDIAN, the food is by far the worst I’ve had. It should not be categorized as Indian by any means, so I’m compelled to put this review here for my fellow Indians who are looking for Indian options around here. If you really want that experience head to Silver Oak (their food is “Indian” and yum). I actually feel bad for others who enjoy food there thinking that’s the epitome of our cuisine. (Wish I could tell them it’s not). The dal - Channa dal (no tadka just boiled lentil) Gobhi - boiled and swimming in turmeric water with Roti - I don’t think these ppl really know what roti it!! So I leave it there.

05/07/2025: Review: Poor Customer Service – Very Disappointed We visited this restaurant at 5 PM sharp, right when it opened. Despite being the first ones there, the waiter placed “Reserved” signs on every single table and gave our group of four people a small, uncomfortable table, even though the entire restaurant was empty. We had our food and finished by 6 PM. When I asked about the empty reserved tables, the waiter casually said, “All customers are running late.” So we were made to sit at a cramped table for an hour while the better ones stayed empty—just in case someone else showed up later. To make things worse, when we left, the waiter just said “Goodbye” with no proper courtesy or effort to thank us for coming. It felt like we weren’t valued at all. This is not how customers should be treated. Do we really need to support places that don’t respect the people who actually show up on time? 06/08/2025: The Donner Kebab takeaway was Fantastic. Really fresh and very tasty. I usually ask for the salad and sauces separate so I can enjoy the great taste of the meal. Staff are very obliging and friendly.

19/08/2025: Unfortunately, a very good example of how bad service can ruin everything. We arrived at a quarter to seven. The friendly waitress seemed overwhelmed, even in a nearly empty restaurant, trying to find a seat for four. After we found a seat and had cats, we waited 30 minutes before we could order. It should have been clear by then. As I said, the restaurant was almost empty, with about 12-15 other people in the room besides us. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the order: chicken nuggets and chips came with garlic naan. The chicken pakora for the other daughter was ordered with garlic naan but came without any side dish. I ordered an appetizer and asked for everything to be served together, emphasizing this twice. The reordered chips arrived after 20 minutes, but of course, the chicken nuggets had already been eaten. I asked for ketchup at both of them, but nothing arrived. After 10 minutes, I went to get ketchup, pepper, and salt myself from the uncleared table two over. Our food arrived 40 minutes after the children. The four mango lassis we ordered never arrived. The table two down... the people left 10 minutes after we arrived. The table still wasn't cleared by 8:45 PM. It's a real shame; the service seemed overwhelmed, incompetent, and inefficient. They were friendly, but, I'm sorry, hopelessly incompetent. After two hours there, they didn't even ask if they needed anything, and there was no chance to reorder drinks. Instead, they seemed to be standing there every 10 minutes with things for other tables. The food was good, maybe a bit too spicy, but that's what you'd expect from an Indian restaurant. The ambiance was nice and tasteful. The prices are absolutely reasonable and fair by German standards, even quite reasonable. If you need two hours to make a quick dinner with the kids, only get part of what you ordered, get annoyed, the kids are disappointed because it's missing and then they get whiny because they have to wait an hour for their parents, it's just no fun.

26/07/2025: Would not recommend very rude staff they definitely don’t want to be there couldn’t wait to get us out of the place, taking plates away when we hadn’t finished taking glasses away with drinks in them. Giving the bill without asking if we were finished. Food was average over priced and small portions. Really surprised that the staff had the attitude that they had and will not be returning.

01/08/2025: Visited this place today and was really let down by the food. I ordered Naan and Chicken Tikka Masala, and to my surprise, the curry was bright pink-red and overly sweet—clearly loaded with beetroot and sweeteners. It tasted nothing like a traditional tikka masala. Honestly, they should rename the dish to something else entirely. The funniest (and most shocking) part? The staff actually told us that "Chicken Tikka Masala is a sweet dish." 😅 While the ambience was pleasant, the food was overpriced and far from authentic. Definitely not worth it, especially for anyone expecting real Indian flavors in Dublin.

18/08/2025: We ordered a prawn biryani and a sag paneer for takeaway. Maybe bad luck in our choices but both dishes were different than what we have tried in multiple places, even in India - the sag paneer tasted ok but the biryani was very bland. Edit: owner replied to review saying this is a Bangladeshi restaurant so my experience in India would be comparable - when I went to this restaurant it was advertised as an Indian restaurant, including multiple “Best Indian restaurant in Ireland” awards.

07/09/2025: We ordered 3 dishes and naan, these dishes are definitely not authentic at all, same gravy has been used for a dish. Naan was not fully baked. Pathetic food!

19/08/2025: This is not Indian as they say, it’s not even authentic as they say. May be it needs authenticity check. Horrible and all times the food we ordered was not good. Not even authentic Indian taste, we know it better than Cafe India. It seriously needs some cleanliness, quality and some professionalism. Lacked the taste and the meat was not certainly Irish. Looks like it's been frozen for long time and was hard even to bite. I went to The Blue Apron which was much better in quality, taste quantity, and especially professionalism. So I recommend Blue Apron which is just next door for great food. Thank you

22/06/2025: Ordered delivery. Expected to wait 40 min but arrived in half the time, a wonderful surprise. We ordered the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, and samosas. All were decent sized portions which filled us up. Favorite dish was the tandoori chicken (I wish we got a second order of this instead of the butter chicken). The dishes also came with different chutneys (tamarind, mint, yogurt & cucumber) and we liked all. Only critique is more chicken would have been nice in the butter chicken. Will be ordering again!

14/08/2025: Such a disappointing takeaway meal. The kebab meat box was so small, and the chicken was dry, the fish cake was oily not worth the money for a few small peices for meat.

08/06/2025: Beautiful and very tasty food, lovely staff. It's hard to find a better restaurant in north-west Dublin.

28/05/2025: Had previously left a glowing review after coming here for years. Unfortunately a recent takeaway experience really let us down. Prawn curry was watery with about 3 prawns and no veg, staff were very unapologetic when we rang. All they had to do was acknowledge and offer to make it right, now we won't be back. Real shame.
