Sanjay's Kitchen
Birr
11/01/2026: Kashmir (Galway): As Galway's oldest Indian restaurant, it has a massive local following for its authentic flavors and comforting, "soul food" vibe.
27/10/2025: Very authentic decor, Food and atmosphere. Waiter was friendly and nice. Food excellent and different slant on other Indian Restaurants but really tasty. Thoroughly enjoyable night.

Masala
Dublin
19/12/2025: Great takeaway, food always very nice, very accommodating to vegetarians will swap out ingredients in meat dishes to accommodate. Staff always friendly and customer service is great, we drive 20 mins for this place when we fancy a takeaway curry!
17/12/2025: We order from masala every week the food is so good. Except for today we ordered chicken and veg biryani and both were not good. The veg biryani had frozen veggies (peas, corn and carrot mix) which was really really shocking. There were no other vegetables. The biryani tasted very sweet for some reason, the raita we got was sweet too and so was the curry we got. Wouldn’t recommend their biryanis at all.

Mogul Emperor
Limerick
18/01/2026: Food was absolutely devine , highly recommend and will definitely go back
03/01/2026: Waiter asked me on the phone when reserving for 2 adults and a child how long do you intend on staying for our meal to which I replied about a hour
We arrived for reservation and same waitor again asked how long we intended on staying to which I replied till we get our food and eat it
I watched as other people arrived and he never once asked any of them how long they intended on staying
He wanted us to pay and be gone out of the place even though we spent 100 euro and other people there didn't spend as much but didn't get rushed
They shouldn't make customers feel anxious right from the get go by giving them a time frame to leave.
Very bad customer experience

Spice of India
Dublin
04/01/2026: Had a good experience. Raj’s service was nice, and the food was really good.
31/12/2025: This evening I've ordered butter chicken curry. To my surprise, I've got too much curry that tasted literally like a sauce that made of sugar and full of coconut powder. I tasted butter chicken lot of times before but never had this much sugar in the curry portion. It seems the colouring additives are overly added to chicken pieces and mint sauce. If I were the front man, I would ask customers about their taste preferences. All the best.

Doolally
Dublin
18/01/2026: An old favourite.
I used to eat here or order take out every week or two, and this is the first time back when visiting home after almost 2 years and everything is still great: Atmosphere, service and especially the Paneer Makhni is still incredibly good and flavoursome.
17/01/2026: This is one of the best Indians I’ve had in years. Service was good, food fantastic and we all left far too full up!
(Might be our fault for having kebabs as starters).
The mango chicken kebab was absolutely fantastic, probably the best thing I ate whilst in Dublin.
Fancy restaurant inside, clearly a popular date spot too.
Not a cheap one but well worth it

31/12/2025: Very bad got three courses sorry tescos have better nans a disgrace only thing stay away go to Mullingar
11/11/2025: Spent €35 on two mains and a naan. Took nearly an hour and a half to arrive. Rang 7 times and they only answered on the last time and were very abrupt and unapologetic. Said food would arrive in 10-15 mins then hung up and it took another 25 minutes. This was on a normal Tuesday evening. When food got here it was barely warm and quite frankly not nice. Korma had no taste and Massaman was not as described - only chicken no extras. Naan bread was freezing cold. Tried to eat some and then found a hair in my food! We had an experience a few years ago where our food was delivered 24 hours late…seems like nothing has changed. Service has always been terrible. No offer of compensation or extra bits etc. They changed the arrival time on Just Eat so that it wouldn’t go down as late. Absolutely shocking service and will definitely NEVER be ordering again.

Shanai
Dublin
09/01/2026: Been coming here for 8+ years and the food quality has gone downhill in a major way. The curries lack flavour and more importantly meat. The butter chicken came with 6 shrievelled chicken pieces and the peshwari naan isn’t filled with sugar anymore, a little is meagrely sprinkled on top. In particular, the korma resembled more of a vegetable soup as opposed to a mild nutty curry, very annoying. Cutting corners while simultaneously increasing prices by €3 per main menu item isn’t smart. Thoroughly disappointed will have to search elsewhere for an authentic Indian smh
03/12/2025: Lovely plates, good place to have a dinner.

Spice Village Indian Restaurant
Blessington
28/10/2025: Visited Spice Village during my trip to Ireland and loved it. Warm ambience, attentive staff, and food that actually tastes like home, full of flavour, not just spice. Tried the chicken tikka masala, and it was spot on. Totally worth the price for the quality of food and service. Definitely recommend if you’re craving authentic Indian food done right.
28/10/2025: I recently visited this Indian restaurant and tried their paneer butter masala with naan. The gravy was rich, creamy, and well-balanced, with fresh, soft paneer pieces. Naan was warm, fluffy, and paired perfectly with the dish. Service was quick and the staff was polite. The ambiance felt cozy and clean, making the meal enjoyable. Overall, a delicious and satisfying experience—would definitely return!

India Gate
Dublin
22/01/2026: Got the chicken biryani delivered. It was cold and very overpowered flavour of star aniseed. The chicken was good quality though.
16/11/2025: Ordered tonight and the guy on the phone and the delivery driver were so friendly ! the food was absolutely gorgeous honestly can’t fault it. We got the meal for 2 which was more than enough, could easily feed 3-4. I don’t usually leave reviews but credit were credit is due.
