01/05/2026: The food here is exceptional. I love spicy food and my husband although he enjoys spicy food always gets heartburn from it. There is a good deal of not so spicy food on the menu in Daata however even when he eats food that is spicy in this restaurant he doesn't suffer from heartburn afterwards. I have no idea why this is just it means he can enjoy all the flavours without the pain. The staff are truly lovely. They are well trained and very good at their jobs. I love the atmosphere its friendly and happy. I would highly recommend a visit.

05/05/2026: Food took like 45 minutes to come out even though it wasn’t busy. My issue is that this the most westernized, white washed Indian food I’ve seen. I don’t know what the issue is with Ireland and doing this but anything that’s labeled Mexican or Indian is not traditional. I was really irritated. Like what does the jalfrezi have milk in it ? these curries are not traditional at all but maybe if ur Irish you believe it is. I don’t know if this is brit Indian or what but good lord I’m not Indian and I cook it way better than they do here. Ridiculous

16/05/2026: A really nice place, we didn't have a reservation but they fitted us in and were most welcoming, a lovely menu and we were all impressed with our choices when the food arrived, a nice range from mild to spicy so everyone's tastes are covered, Great service too. And I was covering the bill so was very pleased at the prices, quality food for price.

02/05/2026: I recently visited this restaurant for their breakfast buffet and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere is outstanding and creates a very relaxing and welcoming vibe. The service, as always, was excellent—staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was smooth. Coming to the food, there was a great variety available. The idli was soft and well-prepared, and the poori was absolutely delicious—definitely one of the highlights. However, as someone from South India, I did feel that the vada, dosa, and uthapam were slightly under-seasoned, with minimal salt. A bit more seasoning would really elevate these dishes and make them perfect. That said, it was still a great experience overall. With a small improvement in seasoning, this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast buffet. I would definitely visit again!

18/04/2026: The breakfast buffet was excellent and well worth the price, especially the ghee dosa and jalebi 🤤. They offer a diverse selection with three distinct regional options: Punjabi, Gujarati, and South Indian, making it a satisfying experience for a variety of tastes.

12/05/2026: Lovely meal on Monday 11/5. food was excellent and the waiter was very pleasant and helpful as we were not sure what to order. It is also very reasonably priced. When in Dalkey again will definitely be back to this restaurant.

27/04/2026: Excellent rogan gosh. Loved the set lunch menu and for starters I had the achari murgh tikka which was tender and so flavourful. I washed it all down with a delicious Bellini. Service was also great. Definitely worth the visit 💯💯💯

24/04/2026: The food, as always, was extremely good, full of flavour and good quality. The rooms and atmosphere is very nice with carpets making it quieter. The only problem was the lady serving us ( who has been there a long time, with similar behaviour ) was very abrupt, and a bit rude clearing courses and rushing ordering.

09/05/2026: This was a great spot to get indian takeaway food. We always used Delphi Lounge However, the last few we ordered have really been below their usual high standard.

10/05/2026: One of the worst meals I have had in a long time , mix biryani had 2 pieces of chicken and the waiter asked for us to dig through to check and then started laughing. Jalfrezi had no onions and peppers and again he started laughing and said a jalfrezi doesn’t have onions and peppers even though it states it on the menu. The meat in all our dishes was dry and tasteless and overall a shocking experience.

07/05/2026: Utter waste and scammer. They gave us the old price menu card but they billed us with the new menu card price. We had a argument regarding that. After that, they have been deducted us 5 euros. Kindly maintain proper electronic bill. Since we hit new modern era but still you stuck with pencil paper bill which is below basic. thing for a restaraunt. One good thing is food is good but the quantity is too low.

14/02/2026: Look I love the food from here ,but this is the second time happening now ,got a delivery tonight order a butter chicken main and a mixed grill main ,gets the delivery and the sauce for the mixed grill isn't there this is the second time happening 🥲rang them oh kitchen is closed 😭so it's valentine's were after spending money on a nice meal and I've to share my sauce out of the butter chicken so now we both have meat with just rice basically a miniscule amount of sauce between us ,and they will take money off next order mind you the hole meal is ruined now devastated,,second time 😅😅😅 happy valentine's day

Its December 2017 and the service is fab The new Manager Nicole knows what great service is it comes natural. Bar Manager Dennis is sound Darren the barman is very professional. Christine great with customers gone Now Lovely girl A credit to the oldborough. 100% Nice selection of beers try the Devils Backbone. Food and service here is great. A great starting place. Let's not forget the chef and kitchen staff waitress and waiters. A nice friendly atmosphere here. Amy and all the guys Well done to all the staff. 08/11/2025: Very less staff on the counter always slow and they don’t care much if customers are waiting when food and drinks are ordered on the app they don’t even bring the drink on time all the ice gets melted and the drink doesn’t even taste good… very bad service
