We even used them to cater at a party for us and everyone talked about the food! Would highly recommend them. Staff are very nice and very welcoming. 09/03/2025: Such a bad experience I have ever had in Ireland. I would never recommend to anyone I know. Poor service. We went at 4 pm and asked for buffet. They should have told us it’s a closing time. They told us we can have buffet , but while eating itself they emptied the dishes without even informing us.

28/02/2025: *Disappointing Experience at Coriander - Rude Service and Poor Attitude My wife and I, along with her family friend, visited Cork, Ireland, for a short trip from England. We decided to try out an Indian-Nepalese restaurant called Coriander, which we found on Google Maps. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant, and I feel compelled to share our disappointment. We called ahead and reserved a table for four just five minutes before arriving. Upon entering, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only four tables occupied, including ours. A young man handed us menus and said he’d return when we were ready to order. When we called him back, one of our party wasn’t ready, so we politely asked him to come back later. Five minutes later, we were ready to order, but this time, a different waiter with a beard approached us. His attitude was immediately off-putting. My wife, who was feeling unwell with a cold and flu, requested a room-temperature soft drink. His response was shocking: “You guys can order hot drinks, why do you need a soft drink?” This was not only rude but also completely unprofessional. We were taken aback by his dismissive and condescending tone. When we ordered the lamb chops, he didn’t bother to explain how many pieces would be served or provide any details about the dish. His demeanor throughout the interaction was cold and unwelcoming. It was evident that he didn’t want us there, as he seemed much happier and friendlier serving the local Irish customers. This double standard in treatment was both noticeable and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the restaurant’s signage outside prominently displays “Indian Restaurant,” but the staff’s behavior made us question their respect for the culture they’re representing. It felt misleading and, frankly, disrespectful to use the Indian title if the staff harbors such attitudes. The waiter spent more time on his phone than attending to customers, and his overall behavior suggested he was doing us a favor by serving us, rather than treating us as paying guests. The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism was astounding. I cannot recommend Coriander to anyone. The service was appalling, the attitude of the staff was rude, and the overall experience left us feeling unwelcome and undervalued. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere.

14/09/2024: I gave 4 stars but I would score it 4.7. We got food from here twice and it was lovely both times and really cheap for sundries like rice/chips and the staff were really nice too. Unfortunately I was only visiting the area but if I lived within 10 miles I'd be there again and again.

01/08/2024: I tried a take away from this restaurant for the first time yesterday evening as I had been away all day and forgotten to defrost one of my homemade dishes. The delivery service was first class. It took only about 15 to 20 minutes. The food was among the best Indian food I have tasted for years. The vegi dishes I ordered were delicious and I would happily order from this restaurant again. First class ordering service, top quality food and fast delivery. What more could anyone want.

25/02/2025: It's the deepest, darkest Dublin, on the night of the England, Ireland match. We were raring to go, and I found the greatest bloody wine line, with my favourite champs, at prices I couldn't match. The food was perfect, the staff were funny, please move to Marylebone! I can't rate you higher, but I swear that I would.

08/03/2025: Quería compartir mi reciente experiencia cenando en "Kumar's Taste of Asia" en Galway. El restaurante estaba bullicioso cuando llegamos alrededor de las 8 : 30 PM. A pesar de la multitud, nos sentamos rápidamente en una mesa de esquina, que era conveniente. Sin embargo, tuvimos que hacer un esfuerzo para llamar la atención del servidor para nuestro pedido. Nuestro servidor, Varsha, era amable y educado en todo momento. El plato de chisporroteo de carne mezclada era agradable, pero los Paneer rolls parecían más rollos de patata que paneer. El curry de coco de cordero de madras era sabroso y delicioso, mientras que el pollo con mantequilla era un poco demasiado dulce para nuestro gusto. Los postres, aunque sabrosos, estaban ligeramente en el lado más dulce. En general, podría considerar volver a "El sabor de Asia de Kumar" en el futuro. Si lo hago, podría solicitar un nivel de especias más alto, dado que es cocina india.

25/02/2025: I feel compelled to share my horrific experience at this restaurant to atleast help fellow Indian nationals avoid spending their money here. Frankly, there were so many issues that it’s difficult to list them all. Behavior and Attitude: 0/5 If I could rate this place a negative score, I would. The staff seems overly focused on accommodating local Irish customers while discounting Indian patrons. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full, except for a reserved table for six and a small table for three, which had no reservation notice. However, I was directed to a dungeon like dimly-lit, unheated section at the back of the restaurant. Initially hesitant, I accepted. I soon noticed another Indian couple was ushered in to be seated in the same area. However, shortly after, when another local couple arrived, they were offered the available table outside!! This blatant disparity in treatment was impossible to ignore. As I was leaving, I noticed another local couple was waiting for a table. Although there were available tables inside the “dungeon”, I assumed they were asked to wait to be seated in the main area!!! Food: 1/5 The food was disappointing, to say the least. It was bland and lacked any real flavor. The aloo gobi was poorly prepared, with both the potatoes and cauliflower undercooked. Portions of the tandoori roti were so raw, essentially it was like dough/atta before it’s placed on the tawa!!! I showed the server, asking if he would eat something like this himself—he simply took it away, without an apology or any form of acknowledgment. When the roti was replaced, it was delivered with no explanation or courtesy. No one said anything!! Interior: 1/5 The interior felt like a run-down roadside Indian restaurant, far from the warm and welcoming atmosphere one might expect from a dining establishment. Even small dhabas in India offer a more inviting setting. Ethics: 0/5? The final straw was the bill. When I went to pay, I was handed a handwritten receipt, which is reminiscent of what you’d get at a local market stall in India—not at a proper restaurant in Ireland ! I assume this is a tactic to avoid showing the full revenue, particularly when dealing with Indian customers. If you are smart enough, I hope you know what I am saying. When I asked for a formal receipt, it seemed to be an inconvenience, and after some fumbling with the machine, I was handed a small, unprofessional slip. As a family that runs a fine dining North Indian restaurant in India, I understand that some locals may rate this place highly, simply because they don’t have a true understanding of Indian cuisine. However, I’m baffled by Indian patrons claiming the food was good—because it was far from it. My experience was frustrating, and it ruined my evening. If you care about quality food, respectful service, and ethical business practices, I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant at all costs.

19/03/2025: Ordered from here on a whim, what a pleasant surprise! Absolutely delicious and higher quality than you'd have any right to expect from a takeaway. We had a chicken jalfrezi and another spicy coconut type chicken dish. Both absolutely top tier. Flavoursome, plentiful and packed with different ingredients. Nann bread was ace, as were the mint and mango chutney dips. Couldn't fault it and have had far less impressive food in far higher-priced spots. 10/10, no notes!

08/03/2025: Very worst experience, you can find only kerala kitchen name in the menu not the foods, quality and quantity wise very poor we asked for extra spicy unfortunately they served sweet cury, and very expensive, only staffs are good
