21/11/2025: Update: came here once again for lunch and it did not fail. Still ignorant regarding food, but it's really good. -- Loved it. Came here for lunch and no regrets despite only things I knew in the menu were wines. Will come back again.

26/09/2025: Had a takeaway from here tonight 😋 It was absolutely gorgeous I had the masu chicken chilli,onion bajais,aloo kerau chapat and pilau rice and peshwari naan. If you order from here you will not be disappointed.

15/10/2025: My wife and I stopped in here for supper after seeing it earlier in the day and we were not disappointed. Everything was excellent, the atmosphere, food, and service were top notch. I would highly recommend the Tandoori Garlic Chilli Chicken and my wife would recommend the House Special Curry. A must visit if you are in Barna!

08/11/2025: Very less staff on the counter always slow and they don’t care much if customers are waiting when food and drinks are ordered on the app they don’t even bring the drink on time all the ice gets melted and the drink doesn’t even taste good… very bad service

Its December 2017 and the service is fab The new Manager Nicole knows what great service is it comes natural. Bar Manager Dennis is sound Darren the barman is very professional. Christine great with customers gone Now Lovely girl A credit to the oldborough. 100% Nice selection of beers try the Devils Backbone. Food and service here is great. A great starting place. 19/12/2025: Great takeaway, food always very nice, very accommodating to vegetarians will swap out ingredients in meat dishes to accommodate. Staff always friendly and customer service is great, we drive 20 mins for this place when we fancy a takeaway curry!

17/12/2025: We order from masala every week the food is so good. Except for today we ordered chicken and veg biryani and both were not good. The veg biryani had frozen veggies (peas, corn and carrot mix) which was really really shocking. There were no other vegetables. The biryani tasted very sweet for some reason, the raita we got was sweet too and so was the curry we got. Wouldn’t recommend their biryanis at all.

29/11/2025: The Mogul is an iconic Indian restaurant in Limerick. Highly recommend it for a great meal in the centre of the city

22/11/2025: Got a takeaway which arrived quickly. That's where the positives end. Cold greasy onion bhaji, cold flabby meat samosas with no flavour, burnt poppodoms, mushy red onion chutney, asked for lots of sauce with chicken tikka masala, got lots of watered down sauce with dried out chicken, grey slimy pilau rice. Riata is the consistency of low fat milk. Rang the restaurant to be told that the same dishes were served to others and there was no complaints, that i should collect my food in future to check its OK and finally on my next order, they will give me a discount. I explained after 12 years of ordering from them, there wouldn't be another order. That was "fine"! €46 paid and we have no dinner!

06/12/2025: Usually we have a lovely takeaway from Jaipur, but this evening our order wasn’t warm despite us arriving 15 minutes before the allocated collection time. The food was handed over immediately, so it seems it had been sitting out for a while. Disappointing, especially given the price.

24/08/2025: Was very disappointed with the service from the Staff. Our server was inattentive, and we had to wait a long time for our food. We came with kids and staffs do not want us to be in. All people should be treated equally,I hope you will address this issue."

11/11/2025: Spent €35 on two mains and a naan. Took nearly an hour and a half to arrive. Rang 7 times and they only answered on the last time and were very abrupt and unapologetic. Said food would arrive in 10-15 mins then hung up and it took another 25 minutes. This was on a normal Tuesday evening. When food got here it was barely warm and quite frankly not nice. Korma had no taste and Massaman was not as described - only chicken no extras. Naan bread was freezing cold. Tried to eat some and then found a hair in my food! We had an experience a few years ago where our food was delivered 24 hours late…seems like nothing has changed. Service has always been terrible. No offer of compensation or extra bits etc. They changed the arrival time on Just Eat so that it wouldn’t go down as late. Absolutely shocking service and will definitely NEVER be ordering again.

26/10/2025: The atmosphere is lovely. The service is great; kind and prompt. The food is underwhelming. Nothing was terrible but nothing has me wanting to go back. I'm fortunate enough to have had Indian food in both Manchester and Toronto so my expectations may be quite high. I found the flavours to be weak and lacked dimension. €17 for a main dish before adding rice or naan is a lot for a small bowl of food containing maybe half a chicken breast. The menu and prices advertised outside are quite outdated (prices are significantly more than on the outside menu).

18/09/2025: Absolutely Delicious.. Authentic , carefully prepared .. I travel all around Ireland for work and I often get a Tikka Masala in the different places. This was top of the list. Soooo Goood ! Also got garlic naan .. freshly prepared from scratch as well as the best poppadoms .. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Thank you !
