08/11/2025: Very less staff on the counter always slow and they don’t care much if customers are waiting when food and drinks are ordered on the app they don’t even bring the drink on time all the ice gets melted and the drink doesn’t even taste good… very bad service

Its December 2017 and the service is fab The new Manager Nicole knows what great service is it comes natural. Bar Manager Dennis is sound Darren the barman is very professional. Christine great with customers gone Now Lovely girl A credit to the oldborough. 100% Nice selection of beers try the Devils Backbone. Food and service here is great. A great starting place. Let's not forget the chef and kitchen staff waitress and waiters. A nice friendly atmosphere here. Amy and all the guys Well done to all the staff. 07/02/2026: The food we were served tonight in Chilli Lounge was absolutely delicious. First our starters of Prawn Tempura and another Sizzling starter was amazing, then our main courses of Prawn Balti and Prawn Madras exceeded our expectations -- most delicious with a fantastic tangy taste. The staff were so helpful and friendly too, can't wait to come back to this great establishment in Cavan town.

18/03/2026: Won’t be in a rush to come back. Their prices versus food quality ratio makes no sense. The starter vegetarian “platter” consisted of a 2-by-2-inch piece of paneer cheese, a potato cake smaller than a golf ball, and one broccoli floret that looked like it had been stolen from the current notorious school meals scheme. The green peas in the veg main (Subz Miloni) looked ready to break into a chorus of “It’s a sad, sad situation,” as Elton would say. I get that everyone wants to make money, but there should be some sort of limit. Three-star review only because the staff were nice — otherwise, it would’ve been one star.

13/01/2026: I ordered home delivery from Bombay Bistro, and the food was absolutely amazing! The service was punctual, and the flavors were authentically Indian. As someone who is from India and has tried many Indian restaurants, I can confidently say that Bombay Bistro stands out. Highly recommended!

07/02/2026: Trust me when I say the taste of food is as similar as in India, the atmosphere and hospitality specially the manager Ganesh, is equally unmatched! We ordered chicken biryani, tandoori and lassi and the taste was mind blowing. Many Indian restaurants around here but being an Indian, I know the difference in tastes in different ones. Worth going there every other month at least once!

The service was outstanding, and the owner treated us with such warmth and care that it made the visit even more special. I would recommend this place and would love to visit again.

15/02/2026: Quiet Indian restaurant in the less popular part of the town. Seating and tables well set out. Nice friendly atmosphere. Staff friendly and efficient. Food very good and definitely comparable to the more pricier establishments nearby.

20/03/2026: Very disappointed to write this , but what an appalling service. If I could, I'd give negative rating to this place. I wrote to them particularly while booking that we were two people with and a buggy before making my reservation and they accepted it. On reaching, they had very less accomodations for a buggy and here's the sad part- they did not even try to accommodate us, clearly wanted us to leave because they couldn't fit the buggy. We asked them twice even thrice if they could fit it- but they clearly said , "no, then we are sorry" There were a few Irish people sitting and they were obviously expecting more of them on a Friday evening, looking for more profit, which is clearly understood by this behavior. If they didn't have enough space they should have clearly told me before accepting the reservation or just by call. Even if they genuinely couldn't fit it- at least show that kind of behavior. Customers aren't dumb to not understand your motive. Absolutely pathetic experience and very pathetic on the restaurant's part. We had to leave. I'll never recommend this place to anyone and make sure none of my acquaintances visit here.
