15/01/2026: I've been going to Govinda's for the last 5 years and it has always been a fantastic experience. Food is so delicious and the portions are masive. Very grateful that there is a place in town that offers quality and reasonably priced vegan food! This was their small plate and it was between 11-13e.

11/01/2026: Excellent for food allergies. We have a child with severe food allergies who often struggles to find food he can eat safely when out. Have eaten (in house and takeaway) numerous times from Ruchii and they take it seriously and label everything he can eat and more importantly, CAN'T eat, every time. Really appreciate the care and attention and it ensures we'll keep going there when we're around the area. Also good for coeliacs.

12/01/2026: Excellent Indian restaurant! The food is so good, and I discovered so many new flavors. I ordered a dish with goat meat, which was excellent, and their cheese naan is superb! The decor is beautiful! The service is very good.

06/01/2026: The best Indian restaurant in Dublin! We went for the tasting menu and while very pricey compared to other Indian restaurants in the city, it is well worth it. Each dish is executed flawlessly, particularly the duck and lamb. The service was so friendly and accommodating, with each dish explained in detail. I think this restaurant is well deserving of its success thus far and I will definitely visit again in the future as the flavour is absolutely unrivalled to anywhere I've tried previously.

03/01/2026: Had a really nice dinner with a large group of friends. We've tried this place through the food delivery platform before, so having a proper sit down meal did not disappoint. Food was spectacular, service was great throughout the entire evening, will most definitely come back soon!

02/01/2026: This place is not for Indians for sure. They gave tomato tawa pulav instead of chicken biryani. On top they have capsicums in biryani, expensive and not worth at all. Was really excited for crunchy prawn curry and it was again tomato base curry with no good taste. Paid €75 for disappointing food.

13/01/2026: We had Farah’s Chicken Karahi with Roti and then finished the meal with Kulfi and vermicelli. Amazing food.

21/12/2025: So I came here for my wedding anniversary, thought I should try some new restaurants, my expectations were quite low given I come from Mumbai and I like spicy food and how food is catered towards Irish population it tends to be sweet. But to my surprise it exceeded my expectations, taste is super good. I don’t drop reviews like this unless it really taste good. I also got to taste a dish which not on menu and it also taste amazing. Also staff is very polite and understanding. I ordered a dish where it tasted sweet and I asked them to switch it to other dish which as spicy up to Indian standards provided I had asked before order to be spicy. To sum up things, I would highly recommend to come here and try once’s, while ordering and if you want ask the staff to suggest you spicy dish Note I had ordered Non-veg dish. P.S. I had came second time and this time I had ordered veg thali and it was also amazing with jeera rice and I would recommend jeera rice.

28/12/2025: Great Indian restaurant with amazing flavours. The chicken biryani was absolutely delicious, and the thali was too good — full of variety and perfectly spiced. Fresh food, generous portions, and friendly staff. Definitely worth visiting and I’ll be back again!

27/12/2025: * Very rarely I have given 1 ⭐ Star review on Google. But this place needed one. Food: Even after informing to make it hot 🌶️🌶️🌶️ We got served bland food. Chutney and curry sauce were sweet ! They add green chillies when asked for making hot. Service: Place is half empty and they ask for reservation. You can reserve table even after entering the restaurant on their website or Google. They collect and hang coats of some customers and don't do it for others. They hand table napkins for few and not to others only to talk about their this kind of attitude inside restaurant among people which was clearly evident when neighbouring tables also discuss this attitude and making a mockery of service. They don't serve the way you ask so 0 ⭐ Star Atmosphere: Cramped ! 2 floor seating yet they make difficult for people to move or to go towards washrooms. Need to concentrate on the taste of Nepali food. Serving on brass plates and having nepali dish names is not enough! People visiting temple bar, Dublin as tourist would visit once but people living in Dublin may not go again. Hope this review changes their attitude and bring back the authenticity.

24/11/2025: I have been ordering from this shop for quite some time now and the food is always good and fresh. I have tried out different items and the quality is very good and portion is large. In many shops specially for delivery I have seen the food quality varies but till date I have no complains here. The delivery is also quick and food is always delivered hot.

02/01/2026: I dined in this restaurant and ordered Prawns Biryani this restaurant charged me 27.48 euros even when I was absolutely certain that I did not pay any tip above the order value of 23.99 euros. In their menu card for dine in they have changed values of food items manually using a pen and the prawns biryani is 23.99 euros. I was surprised to see when I opened the bank statement to see 27.48 debited then I checked on Deliveroo the prawn biryani was 19.50 Euros. I remember it well that the order value was 23.99 so I called the restaurant. They tell me that I paid 3.48 euros extra in tip on top of 23.99 which I never told them to add in my bill. An Indian female from this restaurant called me back and she denied that it is a mistake from their end and tells me that I pressed something on the card reader which might have added the tip in the bill value. She just repeated herself again and again and said "Did I order on deliveroo. The price of the same prawns biryani was 19.50 euro on the app . If you go anywhere in Ireland the price for dine in is less than the price lists on the app for delivery. It is with no doubt to me and I've realised well that I was overcharged on purpose and and no one from the restaurant is sorry for this. I would urge everyone to please check their bills really really well before you pay if your deciding to go to see this restaurant.
