28/03/2024: Lovely old style feel with intimate seating booths..good service, professional but friendly.Clean and food very tasty..well worth a visit.

26/03/2024: It was mothers' day and the restaurant had opened especially to cater for women being fêted by their families. The menu was fairly standard: roast of the day, fish, chicken, black bean burger. The inclusion of Baked Alaska was the most exciting aspect of the meal. It was grand, but not special. However, on a cold day in Ennis we were delighted to have it open for us.

02/04/2024: The most expensive cake and coffee I've ever had 4 x cakes (2 brownies and 2 carrot cake) and 4 x coffees came to €55!! The sign on the front door said 'coffee & cake €10'. Too expensive for what it was. Shame because the restaurant is a lovely little place.

10/03/2024: Incredible food, the friendliest staff, even on Mother’s Day there’s no atmosphere of panic and stress, the manager just has everything so under control and relaxed. Gorgeous bathrooms, accommodating to vegetarians and just a great experience!

30/03/2024: Simply an incredible stay. The grounds are stunning , the rooms are large and comfortable and the staff is superb . They are very much into paying attention to details to make your time as enjoyable and stress free as possible . Aiden in particular was incredibly friendly and accomodating one of the best parts of the castle . Breakfast was fantastic and all the food and drink options were delicious . Wouldn’t stay anywhere but here again especially for a true 5 star experience . Will definitely be returning

14/04/2024: We stayed one night b&b 13th April 2024 and from arrival everything was perfect....the owners greeted us at reception and checked us in...reception is a lovely informal experience...room was perfect and very large with magnificent views from room 203 ....bathroom had all the extras ie shower gel soap shampoo and conditioner...shower was piping hot ....even bottled water was provided....breakfast next morning was faultless and 2 young girls in staff were very welcoming with lovely smiles which is no mean feat at 7 am....this hotel has 3 stars which to my mind does not do it justice ,it should be higher...we will definitely be back again and will be recommending it to family and friends....keep up the good work Moycarn lodge and don't change a thing....PERFECT Regards John and Sue

10/04/2024: Stopped off here today at 3pm and had one of the nicest lunches we've had in a long time. The beef on bed of mash was simply delicious. Staff so nice. Will be recommending and will visit again.

22/03/2024: If you are in the area, eat here. You may need a reservation. Service was excellent. I had the captain's plate, which was excellent. My son was a bit less enthusiastic about the Irish Stew, which was good, but a bit thin. My wife loved the pasta that she had. We also enjoyed the live music, which wasn't deafening (Americans take note)! Parking is a little scarce.

21/03/2024: Excellent lunch. We had the prawn and salmon dish, the Caesar salad with chicken, and a portion of garlic butter fries. Service was prompt, friendly, and courteous, and it was very busy for a Tuesday lunchtime (a sign of its popularity)

26/03/2024: I entered because of outside , the view of the bottles make you want to enter , well I did it and I dont regret it at all , the staff , specially Emilia is verry kind, the choices are Incredible. Its a must to do in this city ! Totally love it !
