04/05/2025: Being on the coast there are not many places to eat good fish. We chose this one because the posts had photos of fish. Well, without further ado, for me monkfish doesn't need that much sauce... it came, as I saw in the photo, "loaded" with sauce... when for a good monkfish, a grill and a little sauce on the side for the customer to manage as they see fit is more than enough.

04/05/2025: Dining at Seabank Bistro in Malahide was an absolute delight from start to finish. Tucked away in one of Ireland’s most charming coastal towns, this bistro is a true hidden gem for seafood lovers. The menu celebrates the ocean in the most tasteful way — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I tried the prawns to start . For the main course, the lobster and chef’s linguine with seafood , and beautifully complemented by a medley of seasonal vegetables and a light lemon butter sauce. What truly sets Seabank apart is the atmosphere. With cozy interiors, soft lighting, and a view of the harbour, it’s the ideal setting for both a romantic evening and a relaxed gathering with friends. The staff were exceptional — knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about the food and service. Seabank Bistro doesn’t just serve seafood — it serves memories. A must-visit if you’re in Malahide or anywhere nearby.

11/06/2025: Typical Irish pub. It is located in a small street in the small center of the town where there are also other places. We ordered fish and chips and a brunch/breakfast dish: good and honest dishes. Orders must be placed at the counter otherwise they do not come to the table to take it (but it is also written on the menu). We went for lunch on a weekday. Nice atmosphere.

13/06/2025: Food and atmosphere is great. Manager is a total jerk. Don't be a minute late for your reservation. Also, if you use an international booking service, they won't honor it.

28/05/2025: Looks very understated from the outside, but absolutely full of charm + atmosphere + friendly service on the inside, with great food + tasty wines 😃

30/04/2025: I was passing by and politely asked if I could use the toilet. I was told in a very rude way that they were “closed,” even though staff were still working in the kitchen and behind the bar. 🚫👎 I completely understand that toilets are for customers only — and I was more than willing to buy a flat white. ☕ But that’s not the way to speak to someone. Such a shame — this is the first time I’ve experienced something like this in Ireland. 🇮🇪

29/04/2025: Terrible experience… so disappointed as we loved coming here. The Greenery only accept walk-ins for brunch at the weekend. We walked in on Sunday morning looking for a table for 2, we were told it would be 10 minutes. This was no problem but there were lots of free tables, when we enquired we were told those tables were reserved (but you don’t take reservations for brunch….). We then enquired about a table that was free outside and we were told that outside is reserved for customers with dogs…. Ehhh ok. We decided to leave and go elsewhere. When we were outside we noticed 2 tables didn’t appear to have dogs with them. What are you doing??? We will never be back

26/05/2025: Myself and my wife had the best brunch we’ve ever had. Gorgeous coffee, super fresh orange juice. The eggs on our Benedict and Royale were spot on. The seasoning on everything was spot on as well. 5 stars to the chefs. In a city of mediocre brunch places this restaurant shows how it should be done. Can’t wait to come back to eat everything else

08/05/2025: Scone was stale. Complained but just acknowledged it. Coffe was fine. Tea was fine. Omelette ok. Poached eggs were ok. Bacon was a bit thick.
