03/07/2026: I really enjoyed our stay at The Heights. My room was very cute and clean. The staff were all incredibly friendly. Special shoutout to Ken from The Mill Bar. He is really knowledgeable about local whiskey and helped us with a last minute reservation at a Michelin rated restaurant in Dingle. In my opinion, the hotel has the perfect location, only a 4 minute drive to the center of town but also in route to the national park and the Ring of Kerry. I would definitely stay here again. 💚💚💚 Tip: when traveling in the summer, ask for a fan at check-in.

27/06/2026: The rooms were grand overall. The only downside was the heat-it was roasting while we were there, so it got a bit uncomfortable at times. Thankfully there was a fan in the room, which made a big difference. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was absolutely lovely. What really stood out though were the cocktails made by Alex. You could actually see the care he put into making them look special. He took his time decorating mine, and it genuinely felt like he wanted every guest to enjoy the experience. Fair play to him! Alex is a brilliant barman-always smiling, always in good form, even when there wasn’t anyone at the bar. And to be fair… hes not hard on the eyes either! 😂 Would definitily recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a lovely place to relax and have a great time. We’ll happily be back.

14/05/2026: We went here just for one cocktail after dinner at the Yew Tree and found a relaxed atmosphere with a piano player and fireplace in the main room and besides a smaller, more pub-like room with a TV on a Sports program, so one can choose according to the mood. Great waiter and good cocktails, bit expensive of course but fine for once on a special occassion.

02/08/2026: I did not enjoy it at all! Overpriced food, grumpy and slow waiters, nothing spectacular about it, expensive Guinness. All other pubs around it are better. It ruined our evening’s mood! You just don’t feel welcome and don’t feel you’ve spent your okey wisely. I definitely don’t recommend.

20/07/2026: There were two of us here around 3:30 pm. We sat outside in the alley. The atmosphere was nice. There was no table service; it was self-service. I ordered two drinks and two small snacks at the bar. I then received cutlery, sauces, and the drinks, and the food was brought to me. The Coke was 200ml and not chilled, while the cider listed on the bill as 500ml was actually a 0.33ml bottle. When I asked about it, they said it was the non-alcoholic version they had and that was correct. The smoked sandwich and the fried brie arrived very quickly and were delicious.

03/06/2026: So surprised at how poor the food quality was in the bar. Ordered the vegetarian fajitas. The attached picture was allegedly guacamole... it looked like something poured from a bottle instead of guacamole. Seating badly needs to be replaced or upholstered too. This place gets rave reviews for weddings. I cannot understand after visiting the bar

18/08/2026: Really enjoyed our dinner! We felt unwelcome in another restaurant down the street but were welcomed into their best table when we asked if reservations were needed. Our waitress gave wonderful recommendations and we loved our food. The fish cakes were delightful and I absolutely loved my prawns main! Creamy but light and flavorful. My husband loved his roasted duck as well and duck has been hit or miss (mostly miss) for us in many parts of the world (except for France). We were checked in on twice by two different people, and the staff was quite helpful. The menus were also funny - a little quip about not being psychic so to please let them know about allergies, and instructions for take away if you’re in a hurry because all the food is made fresh. This made me happy - I’m in the mood for fresh clean food and that’s what I got!! Plus cute ambience with string lights, candles, and color combos (no dress code though!). This was absolutely great dinner experience and I highly recommend!
